This is a small, very plain restaurant in a small strip mall at the intersection of Tylersville and Cin-Day roads. It's next door to a pizza place. A typical "mom and pop" Asian restaurant with seating for about 30 people. Their menu is quite large and they offer dishes from several Asian cultures. They offer heat levels from 1 to 10. I stopped by for lunch and tried the Singapore noodles ($10.95), heat level 7. The noodles were good but not very spicy and the portion could have been a little bigger. The owners are very friendly and kind! We were the only ones in the restaurant but we went early in the evening and more and more people came for sit down as well as to pick up an order as the evening went on. Our son was in a soccer tournament nearby, and we wanted to find a place for dinner that would be both good and not overly crowded on a Froday night. Thai Taste fit the bill. It doesn't look like much from the outside (it's part of a little shopping strip), but the inside is nice and clean. The staff is also friendly and the service fairly quick. I also liked that they had a decent adult-beverage menu, which included wines that are not dry. I enjoyed a glass of Moscato. We started off with an order of Crab Rangoon, which was absolutely delicious and sinful. For my meal, I ordered Pad Thai with Chicken. My husband ordered Thai-Fried Rice with extra meat. (Three different meats in fact.) My Pad Thai was very good and full of flavor. Honestly, it was one of the best Pad Thai dishes I've ever had. However, some of the meat was not not particularly tender, which is why I'm giving my review 4 stars instead of 5. (My husband had the same criticism of his fried rice.) If the meat was perfectly tender, this would have definitely been a 5-star review. While I'm not a sushi connoisseur, it's worth mentioning that Thai Taste does offer a sushi menu. The small family owned restaurant was empty (another couple entered after I had ordered), but peaceful, quiet Asian music playing. The waitress was attentive and helpful. The food wasn't amazing but WOW was it FRESH!! They definitely cut up the fresh vegetables themselves and added them to the freshly cooked food I ordered, also the sauce was fresh tasting. So that brings me to Thai Taste in West Chester. Here is my bottom line, this is a take-out restaurant and should be treated as such. Dining here, well it's not great, it's okay, but not what it should be. I get the Curries, Red, 7, with Pork. It's great, nice fresh vegetables, nice spicy and sweet broth with the coconut, pork not cooked to death. I'm hungry just writing about it. I get the same thing every time, I'm proud of that, and it will stay that way. Long story short, it's a pleasure every time I order from this place. This used to be our local go to for fried fish in ginger/chili sauce. And we've dined here a half dozen so times over the past few years and always had good service and the food was always tasty and reasonably priced. We hadn't stopped by for at least more than a year, but the Mrs. was craving her fish dish so we stopped back in. First service really sucked this night, which we had never had an issue with in the past. The server just didn't seem to care - there were only a handful of tables and at least two servers. Secondly the aforementioned fish dish we had grown to love here just is really not good now. Taste was off, just wasn't the same. It just wasn't us though, there was a family of four adjacent to us who also had an issue with their dish not being what they had remembered ordering in the past. The server either took down the wrong order or they've changed ownership/cooks, etc, something. I'm not sure, but that other table did not like what they had and the waitress kept insisting that was the way it was supposed to be - no real apology, nothing. So between our experience with bad service, food that just was off the norm and the adjacent tables experience we've now moved Thai Taste to our 'do not return list', just too many alternatives in the general area to come back again. Thai Taste is a slightly dressed-up hole-in-the-wall-Thai take-out restaurant, so dining in is an average experience. But, dining in is not why you go to Thai Taste, you go here for delicious, cheap food - of which they have plenty. I live not too far from Thai Taste so I get take-out here pretty often. The Lava Fried Rice and Pad Thai are my favorites, but I've tried several other dishes here and liked them. Portions are HUGE so go easy on ordering (unless you really want leftovers, which it's good reheated too!) The food has always been very savory and had the right amount of spiciness. The menu has a lot of different things on it, and I'm often tempted to try other things but I love the Lava Fried Rice so much I just want to order it every time we go. Ever since I left my college town of Muncie, Indiana where my favorite Thai restaurant resided, I have been on a quest for the perfect Pad Thai. I have to say, Thai Taste is probably now in my top 5 for Thai food places in the tri-state area. I have never dined in, just ordered takeout and while there have been a few times I've had a bit of a wait, the servers are so friendly I don't mind. My fiance is a fan of the Pad See Ew and we both love their spring rolls. My only suggestion is that if you're a fan of spicy food, go for a 9 or a 10 on their scale. I would have rated my 8 at more of a 5 or 6! read more

Sushi was excellent, very fresh and had some tasty sauces on the side of the plate, Thai chili sauce and possibly yum yum sauce. Both sauces really made the sushi pop. Lava fried rice was sweet and spicy, I ordered a 4 on a scale of 1-10 of spiciness and it was spot on. Vegetables were large and fresh, really added some bold flavor to the rice. Taking off one star for lack of lunch choices that would incorporate some Thai plates and sushi(such as ban thai's bento box). As it is the lunch was 20 before tip. I've never had Thai food this good. Granted, I've only had Thai food a few times, but this was seriously, seriously delicious. It's very hole-in-the-wall, but is perfectly decent on the inside with plenty of seating that was comfortable. I was going to get orange chicken (because sometimes I'm afraid of trying new things), but I was adventurous instead and went with the Pad Se Ew (rice noodles with egg, chicken, broccoli, carrots and cabbage) and it was incredible. The portion was HUGE- like, it should've made at least 3 very filling meals. However, once I started, I couldn't stop. I finished it all. It was not my proudest moment. My friend got the pad thai and I tried some- also, VERY good. Give this place a shot. There were only a few other people around when we met for dinner on a Thursday night around 6:30. I loved the curry puff! They're like an indian version of a fried wonton! Super yummy good flavor. The golden tofu however, was not so impressive. The small pieces of tofu were fried to death, barely any soft tofu inside. They tasted like dirty oil and the sauce was basically lemon tainted sugar water. (the curry puffs were a little sweet too). I've been to most of the Thai restaurants in Cincinnati and this little unassuming place has some of best I've had. Service was a little slow, but they only had one server tending to a busy lunch crowd. She was friendly and apologetic (and cute :D), so we were forgiving.. I ordered the curry puff for an appetizer and my friend had pot stickers. Both came beautifully presented, well cooked and delicious. The curry puff was a crunchy little triangle filled with potato, onion and spice with a yummy cucumber dipping sauce. For my entree, I chose the Pad Pik Gang Dang, mostly because it's so fun to say. It was a chili spice/curry dish with a giant mound of rice stacked next to an equally giant mound of spicy chicken and colorful veggies. The smell was a little strange.. some spices and flavors in there I was not familiar with.. But the taste was excellent. I ordered a 7 spice, which was perfectly hot. My friend ordered Green Curry Noodle. Spaghetti(!?) swimming around in a green curry sauce with happy globs of spinach and basil leaves tucked inside. Again.. great flavor and perfect spice. I was so disappointed bc we recently moved into the area and I wanted this to be my close "go to spot" for Thai takeout food. The tofu in my drunken noodles was fried to death. Literally no moisture in the center and the vegetables were very sparse. Good thing (and maybe this is also the bad) is that I only waited 5 mins for the food. This is the best Thai I've had in the area. We ordered Thai Tea (A+), pork pad thai and tofu pad thai. Both super good. I ordered spring rolls which were fresh and delicious and the sauce for them was excellent. He got crab rangoon which he said came with the best sweet and sour sauce hes ever had.
