Often it's a fight to get Thai restaurants to serve you their food with real heat in Europe or the US. I got their red curry with chicken, which was quite pleasant, and a very good stir fried pork dish (I forget the name, the menu was in Swedish only and she was translating). The restaurant was very nice inside and well maintained, and the staff was really pleasant. I highly recommend if you are in Stockholm craving a spicy Thai break from all the delicious Swedish meatballs!

Firstly, I wish our service held up to the food, which was good. And, the interior which was fun, warm and inviting for the full family. I wish we'd remained outside and just wrapped up with the free blankets the restaurant provided. Our waiter outside was attentive, friendly, and professional. Instead, we sought refuge from the cold and went inside where we were sat at the bar because all tables were taken. This was not a big deal as we were just happy to get out of the cold. Even though the host told the bartender our outside table number so that he'd check on our order, and knew it was for us and not the people now seated at our prior table. The bartender seemed to lose track of our order. The bartender never gave us water, the other outside waiter served it to us because he saw we hadn't yet received any. While our food came to us still hot, it had been sitting several minutes because he seemed to forget we ordered food. I thought it might have been a language issue until he spoke English to us when he presented the bill and told us the space was for the tip. I won't return because professionalism and service are critical elements of the value-for-money equation. We were failed on both today, and that's a disappointing start to my Stockholm visit.

I've traveled in Thailand and generally opt for "Thai spicy" items, so I know pad Thai/banana pancakes are only authentic as "backpacker fare" - but this place offers satisfying examples of these dishes in a lovely environment.
