*****Updated 9 April 2019***** Came in around 13:30 with a party and was seated promptly. However, service was lacking, as we were ignored because the server decided to serve other tables. *****Updated 2 Nov 2021***** Cat robot serves food. Book a reservation for prompt service!

Nice surprise having authentic dim sum and Cantonese cuisine here in Stockholm downtown. Everything we ordered were delicious from different dim sum to stir fried rice noodles, flat noodles and congee. Highly recommend if you want authentic Cantonese dim sum.

The decor is beautiful and the servers are friendly, and there's even outdoor seating available. However, the main course menu is unique and very limited, so if you're looking for a specific entree, you may be disappointed. We had the minced meat dumplings and stir fried chicken appetizers.

We came here without a reservation one night hoping to try this place out and it was a miracle they had room for us! It was super busy but they managed to fit us in and the food was amazing. The dumplings were so good, every dish on the tapa menu looked so good. Our server was amazing too, definitely recommend checking this place out, and I look forward to returning here!

After checking Yelp, we found this place to have a late lunch. For some reason, we just can't eat on a normal schedule when traveling! We can't be the only ones, right? Anyway, we walked in and there's a sign that says "order at the bar" but it still wasn't clear if we sat ourselves too. So, we asked for a table for two and she gave us two menus, said to order at the bar, and sit wherever we'd like. So we grabbed a corner table outside which was perfect! Then I went inside, ordered for the two of us, then had to carry out two glasses of our drinks, our own bottle of water, two more glasses, and 2 packages of silverware. I didn't mind this and I think it's only during lunch on a weekend, but just something to know. Personally, I liked ordering and paying right away and grabbing our own table. It's almost fast food-like, but the food was nothing like that at all. We got a number to put on our table and our food was brought to us. We got 11 pieces of Dim Sum which were all very good, served with a special sauce. And we also ordered the udon noodles with beef. Again, very good! Prices were better than I had seen before, which is why I really don't mind doing some serve-yourself work. And tap water is free! Great value, awesome spot, definitely would recommend! FYI, the menu has English subtitles. :)

This restaurant is located in one of the most touristy streets of Stockholm and as of such its easy to discard but that´s a huge mistake. I am so happy to have found a more than decent alternative in this part of the city, that I otherwise usually tend to avoid since it is very busy during daytime and extremely quiet by night. We tried five different asian tapas each & my favorites were the gambas with wasabicream & the scallops with asparagus & hot sauce. I have sensitive taste buds & the crispy duck made my eyes tear up & I had to ask for an extra napkin but it was all worth it. The tree different ice creams - sesame, green tea & red beans - that we had for dessert didn't taste like anything I've tried before. They proved to be a good way to neutralize the flavors. The service was nice & I liked that the dishes were served a few at a time & not all together. With that being said it would probably be enough with 3-4 tapas per person. The price per tapas ranges from 65-95 kr, which is fair when taking the quality of the ingredients and the effort put into the presentation of the dishes into account.

    Today's lunch. Superb!

Stockholmers are spoiled when it comes to Chinese and east Asian restaurants. You will pretty much find one in every block, restaurants offering all you can eat buffets, noodle houses and hole in the wall sushi bars. Most of these are more or less "westernized" which unfortunately basically means a lack of passion and enthusiasm. But there are restaurants that actually have the little extra spark to their food that makes them stand out among the Stockholm Asians restaurants. For one of the best dining experience just look for the blue and orange sign Pong. The Pong chain of restaurants can boast with fifteen restaurants around Stockholm and they all offer the same excellent experience and high standard. If you want to take your experience further, a visit to Pong's recently opened restaurant Waipo won't disappoint you. The concept, apart from the high quality cooking and the passion for authentic Asians food, is to introduce the Stockholmers to the real deal - how the Chinese dine. In China you don't order one dish - you eat from many different dishes sharing with each other. Up till now this has been both expensive and tricky to do in Stockholm. Waipo calls it "Asian tapas" and this is a good description. You order from a menu a couple of dishes instead of one (three to four dishes are recommended) and the food is served to you as they are made. Order from the built-in iPad at your table (your order will immediately be sent to either the kitchen or the bar) or call on one of the friendly and helpful waiters. The food is outstanding. I have tried most of the dishes on the menu and the fireworks of flavors in my mouth is nothing I've experienced since my two trips to China. And all this without eating in to your entire travel budget. Come to Waipo for what to date is the best Asian dining in Stockholm at the moment!

Incredible Asian Fusion cuisine! Started with chicken & shrimp dumplings then a main course of spicy noodle soup. The flavors were amazing and meat was perfect. Also a plus for lovely atmosphere and cocktails!

Interesting Asian fusion tapas experience. We were drawn by the name of the restaurant as we walked by a few times during our stay in Stockholm, so we decided to give it a try on our last night. The food was good but it was a bit overpriced for what it is. We noticed most people came for drinks and just ordered 1 or 2 dishes. Maybe that's why our experience felt quite different from theirs cuz we came in only for the food.

I just agree with every good thing already said:) nice place and not too pricy. Took very long for our dessert to arrive but we were not in a hurry and the staff offered free coffee, and the fried banana with ice cream was worth waiting for:) our tasting menu of 9 small dishes was awsome, winner was the fish with sesame crust:)

The restaurant's decor is reminiscent of the Buddha Bar in Paris, and it has the same cool vibe with music to complement it. Snygging and I had to get our own drinks from the bar and nibblies were extra, which wasn't auspicious. But the bartender was very friendly & helpful, and the hostess sat us in a prompt and very friendly manner (make sure you make a reservation). Our waiter was very friendly, and very helpful with suggestions not just on choices of dishes, but wine pairing too. Then the food arrived. Gorgeous! Then we tasted it. Oh. My. God! We both started making moaning noises almost as soon as the first bites hit our palates (she started with the truffle dumplings, and I started with the Fjord Salmon). I mean, honestly...other patrons were staring at us like we were up to something under the table. It was that good. Ambrosiac! Then on to the Ox Rib Tempura (more moaning), the Lamb Racks (GTFO!!), and the Lobster Tacos (porn noises). I also had the Tuna Fritters, which, while delicious, didn't measure up to the other dishes... Which were insanely, deliciously good! I read another reviewer saying that it deserved a Michelin star, and I absolutely agree. Miss Voon is expensive, but it is worth every penny. If you have to choose between paying your taxes or eating here, well... the choice is obvious to me. Going back again tonight. Probably this weekend too.

The way I like it as I am used to that kind of dining from Japan. Every single dish I have tried have been outstanding. The flavours are very refined, varied and unique. Definitely an artform few chefs master. Cocktails...ahhh, I tried 'Stranger in Moscow' and that was it. Hooked...for good or for bad! Deserts...here you can try any and they will be mouth watering. But somehow I go back to the mochi ice-cream. Sweet and simple! Now for the ambience... Book a table in advance. It is often fully booked and especially the weekends you could have to wait until 10pm to get a seat if you come without a booking at 6.30pm like I did. The tables, although pretty closely placed to each other manage to keep privacy due to design. The service is always good...although some due seem to hesitate speaking English. But that is fine...I speak Swedish too :) Otherwise...just request an English speaking waiter/waitress from the very beginning. My number one pick for where to bring VIP guests for a cosy treat and when I want a good treat myself. I would go back at least once every visit to Stockholm. Don't miss it!

The best thing on the menu is their barbecue jackfruit, a tender, lucious flavor you won't believe is made of plants. It goes perfectly with their sweet potato fries, the thin, perfectly spiced morsels that strike the balance between crispiness and still tasting true to their status as a vegetable. The udon broth bowl was complex and comforting, with tender mushrooms, kimchi that was flavorful without being overly sour, and the kind of rich broth that's impossible to replicate at home. Don't miss the burrito either, or the multiple sauces that can transform any of the dishes. Lastly, the service was great. The staff was so helpful in translating the menu for us and answering any questions, and getting us everything we needed to have a wholly satisfying experience. It's also very reasonably priced for the amount of food and quality that you get. My only complaint is that I wish they had a menu that didn't move. Made the ordering process a little difficult. But it's made easier by knowing you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
