She frequently makes sure that she was able to address my mom's questions and concerns. My mom is a retired physician and although quiet during appointments, she usually tells me a lot after every appt. She has been nothing but satisfied with Dr. Troncales. She appreciates that she does not feel rushed. She is grateful that she has gotten established with a physician who is so passionate about helping the older population.

During that time I had to look for medical care elsewhere and discovered Pacific Medical. My initial contact was with a receptionist (name ?) who was the most pleasant receptionist I believe I've ever met. She was so helpful and arranged an appointment for me to meet a new PCP (Primary Care Physician). She transferred all my medical records from UW Medicine making the process painless. Did I mention the receptionist was so very pleasant? After my initial meeting with my new PCP, I was thoroughly impressed with the staff at Pacific Medical. The medical facility is really close by my apartment, so traveling back and forth is not a problem. Lots of parking, with about half dozen Handicap parking stalls directly out from the front door of the clinic. Perhaps the time spent with negotiations between Aetna & UW Medicine was my good luck.

I was extremely nervous, but once we started talking, he was such a kind and caring man, that my nerves just faded. I felt like he listened to me and we worked out the best possible scenario for my needs. One thing I really appreciate about him is that he sat down and talked with me without typing. Every doctor I have been to in the past types their notes as they talk to me and I don't really feel heard. I am very grateful that I found him and I also want to say how appreciative I am of his nurse, Caroline, for reaching out to me personally the week prior to see how I was doing. I can't remember any prior doctor's office staff reaching out to me like that and she spent a considerable amount of time talking to me. I felt so much better after our chat! I definitely believe Dr. McLaughlin when he says Pac Med puts their patients first.

We've had prescriptions overlooked and difficulty getting them to the pharmacy. We usually see a doctor annually but this office requires twice a year or won't refill your routine prescription. Rather than a quick phone call, office insists on an appointment just to review simple labs with no problem results. Although, I think Dr. Qüdüssi is a good doctor, but the operation seems like it's winding down. If you're a new patient, I wouldn't recommend, as it seems short-term.

At that time, she didn't put me on medication. I just got off what was supposed to have been a virtual appointment to manage the fact that I have lost height and need to reevaluate my osteopenia. I felt she was unprepared for the appointment, as she didn't apparently get my chart out of archive and read it so as to be aware of prior test values. She asked me when I had my bone density exam, and i said it would be in my chart that had been archived. She then said that it wasn't acceptable for me to be angry, which confused me, as I'd said in a conversational tone of voice that the test date ought to be in my old chart. She went on to tell me that it's the patient's responsibility to know when they had various tests and what the result was. While I agree that we patients need to understand the tests we had done and the results, I believe it's the Doctor's responsibility to know what their treatment plan had been, and what tests had been ordered and the test results that she had received. She was very rude. At that point, I said we were done for not only today, but forever, and hung up. I will not work with her again under any circumstances. If I could have given 0 stars on the rating I would have. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I didn't have to wait very long when I arrived which was great, and the nurse and staff were nice to me when taking vitals and such. But, I would recommend to double check you EOB from your insurance to make sure that they are not over charging you because of what happened in my situation. I had to go back 3 days later for a follow up to have my TB tests read. The front desk told me there is no co pay for that because it is not with the doctor. Got it. (I also called them to confirm this on the day of the follow up visit) Well, I get the EOB from my insurance and apparently the doctor billed me for his office visit ( I expected), the phone call (wth really), and the "office visit" with the nurse that took my vitals and printed me out a letter saying I was negative for TB. Billed my insurance for almost $1000. Quite extreme to me. I am currently working with CHI to dispute the phone and the 2nd office visit.

Basically my advice is to take the good with the bad. Treat her with true respect and she will do the same for you. She is never going to be a hand-holder, so if you want sympathy, find someone else. Sometimes the truth hurts. She is No-Nonsense and Very Direct. I never found her to be uncaring, just a little awkward around emotional people. Cry because your foot hurts and she's ok. Cry because your heart hurts and she will find a way to get out of the room. If she is mistaken--don't accuse her of being wrong--Let another doctor tell her that. Suggest that you think there is a misunderstanding and start over by stating your illness and what you think you need. If that doesn't work, ask for a referral to a specialist that handles your particular problems. She was absolutely wrong about one of my problems so I had to go to an emergency wound care clinic. The wound care director called her from my cell phone and told her exactly what was going on and what she should do, then handed the phone to me. She apologized honestly and took care of business as she had been instructed. I live in California now and wish I could find a doctor as genuine as she is. I'd rather have mean and honest over coddling and disingenuous any day.

The waiting area chairs haven't been cleaning or whipped down in quite some time. There are patients in the hallways screaming and not being helped. The staff are unqualified and they lack any kind of patient hospitality or urgency. If you have a child don't take them there go to Marybridge in Tacoma they know what they are doing. My son is now traumatized after being treated there. I will never go back there under any circumstances. Horrible! horrible!! horrible!!! experience
