There are lots of beautiful gemstones, crystals, and jewelry. The owner Ms Robin is friendly and informative. She was very patient and answered all my questions. The jewelry and crystals are very reasonably priced. I got a few necklaces for $8 and $5 which is great. There were even a few small crystals for $1. I got a druzy quartz which was sparkly and pretty and a unakite crystal. There's a nice variety of crystals to choose from. There's a lot to look at in here and the lighting is bright so you can see everything. It is a small store so it can get kind of crowded at times. On a busy day, parking here is at a premium as there are many other restaurants and stores in the center. Many spots are monopolized now for curbside pickup at neighboring shops. As soon as you walk into Refreshed, you're overwhelmed by the beautiful blues and whites of coastal decor. It's eye candy, for sure! The staff greeted us right away, asked if we were looking for anything special, and were readily available if we had questions. They offer hand sanitizer at the front door and let you know that they require masks. The 3 staff members we saw all wore masks during our entire visit. They carry Simply Southern clothing and accessory items and have some unique beachy gifts for everyone. I even found some stocking stuffers for my decidedly non-beachy husband (flavored popcorn for the win!). This place features 72 artists who are mostly from the state of Virginia! There are hot sauces, felt kits, jewelry, accessories, candles, sprays, limited edition prints, and much more, where most items are handmade! The most wonderful thing is that there are over 35 different charities featured, where a certain percentage of your purchase goes to one - how neat is that?! The felt bouquet of flowers caught my eye from their display, so I knew I had to stop in! Ms. Jodie was present (@whataphotoholic), who was working on some calligraphy masterpieces; she was just super welcoming and friendly! Such a relaxed atmosphere where you can literally peruse at your leisure and have a pleasurable shopping experience! Don't forget to wander towards the back - you can see some of the featured artists' studios, where you can scope out works that are in progress and finished works on display.
