I went there yesterday as a last resort to make my baby brothers Baptism & Birthday invitations. I was shocked to see the wide viarity of invitations they had. They were extremely kind and the prices were reasonable. The invitations came out beautiful. I asked to have 90 invites, 45 of each, rush ordered and had them done by the afternoon. I was referred to That Invitation Place by my best friend who has used them for several occasions. She said that they were awesome and she was right!! I just picked up my wedding invitations and they are perfect! They are exactly how I envisioned them and the process was so easy because of their designer, Caitlin...you know brides have a million things to worry about and she made sure that the invitations weren't one of them! BUYERS BEWARE! Purchased my wedding invitations from this place and paid over $900. Went to pick them up and was told we had a $221 balance. Apparently, the clerk made an error when she priced them out. Please note, I never received a call warning us of this error. It wasn't told to us until we went to pick them up. At this point it was too late to go somewhere else and we were forced to pay the additional balance. To add insult to injury the envelope printing was far from professional. We have requested to speak to the manager or owner- with no success. Ps: Unfortunate for them this could have been resolved with an apology and $100 credit-as we all make mistake.. Now weeks before my wedding I have to take the time and write dozens of reviews warning other couples of their fraudulent behavior. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. They are amazing, work within your budget, respond quickly, and get the job done! They made the perfect wedding invitations and did exactly what we wanted. We also had them do my bridal shower invites and the wedding dinner menus. Highly recommend!!!!!! read more

I bought invitations at That Invitation Place for years and I'm sorry to say, I will now be shopping elsewhere. The quality of the customer service and personnel has dropped dramatically in the last year or so and has made it a place I can no longer recommend. I have been in 3 times in the last few months and each time I left without being assisted in any way. This past week I went in for First Communion invitations and I just stood there for 15 minutes and dealt with being ignored -- even though there was no one else in the store and I had questions. Finally, I asked for some help and then asked the girl some very basic questions and the response was "I'm not sure." Seriously?? I was so frustrated I just left. Bottom line, what was once a great store has gone downhill. Unfortunately, I won't be back. read more

Poor customer service! I went on 8/11/12 to get a quote for invitations for my wedding on 5/17/13 I received the quote on paper and decided I would wait until the new year to get the invitations not minding if the price went up a couple of dollars. I came back today 1/12 to purchase the invitations with my bridesmaids giving them the quote they originally gave me. One of my bridesmaid saw the same invitation but rectangular rather than squared and I liked that one better it was only $10 more which was fine. Then when she wrote out the quote she realized the girl on the original quote forgot to put something that was the most important part of the invitation and it was going to cost me an additional $50. How can you miss something so important? So if I would have ordered the original invitations they would have been WRONG! The girl went to ask her manager who then proceeded to basically tell me that she doesn't know who wrote out the original quote and she doesn't recognize the handwriting. What does that mean that I broke into the store stold a paperbthat is a quote your company writes out themselves and dexided to wrote it out myself NO! I don't think so!! So I told her to forget it. She could have easily eaten the additional $ and i would have paid for the invitations and be done with it. But no she just made me feel really bad so I just walked out without invitations and with a really sour taste in my mouth of this horrible pace. Regardless there are plenty of places in miami who do invitations and would treat there customers a lot better then this place did. read more

Horrible service, errors, omissions, not willing to come up with a suitable solution. I spent over USD 600.00 to be in a complete frustration. I went to this place hoping to have a nice, elegant and quality product after a very disappointing experience with paperdiva.com. I order the invitations and let them know that I was already in crunch time. They requested for me to pay the rush fee and I gladly did, again hoping to finally be happy about the product. First, after a week of the order, I received a call that the reception cards were printed without the monogram. They asked me if I would rather wait for them to be reprinted with the monogram and I accepted the extra delay since I wanted the monogram to be included. I requested also, THREE TIMES, for them to include a special shape on the envelopes below the guest names and addresses. They assured me that they were going to included. Never did! Went to pick up the invitations last Saturday March 29, 2014. They charged me $28 more dollars because they said I only paid for 25 envelopes printed with the guest list. Errors: 1) On the reception cards the name of the venue was printed incorrectly, although I wrote it correctly Their "Solution" - They indicated that either I wait until next Tuesday for the error to be corrected or I could pick up the reception cards that were printed without the monogram - Does that sound like a solution to anyone? I requested a full refund for the reception cards and the manager said that she cannot assure a full refund and that it is contingent to what she can "arrange" with the printing company. 2) One of the envelopes is missing one of the guests (provided on the guest list that I carefully prepare and submitted to them with plenty of time prior to the day they received the invitations with the envelopes from the printing company; 3) Missing 7 outer envelopes At this point I have to send the invitations the way the are and be very embarrassed with my guests for the errors, but I do not have more time since the wedding on the 25th of may. Everything came out amazing, they went above and beyond, found ways for me to save money (and it meant they would lose money) and overall were super helpful. The invitations came out beautiful! I was referred to That Invitation Place by a friend while planning my wedding, and I am very grateful for the recommendation. Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My husband and I were clueless about wedding etiquette, color schemes, etc. and Caitlin always helped us and gave great advice. She was very responsive via email as well, which was great because we had a lot of questions. Also, they have a very large variety of invitations to choose from and something for every taste or event.
