The drinks weren't as good as I expected but other than that I would recommend coming here. Such nice decorations as well you really did feel like you were there when getting your food. Also, if you don't finish all your food you don't need to pay extra so you don't have to eat everything on your plate.

Some of the standout items for me came from the Indian station, including dishes like dahi bhalla, Amritsari fish (breaded fish, which was much more flavorful than the fish and chips at the Great British station), tandoori naan, dal tadka, vegetable korma, aloo gobi, rogan josh, and chicken tikka masala, all of which were boldly and authentically spiced. Other items I liked included the reggae wings (jerk chicken wings) from Jamaica; the pico de gallo, guacamole, and smoked salsa from Mexico; and the soft-serve vanilla ice cream from the dessert station. Still there were so many other items that I barely got to try including Thai Green Curry with Chicken, Black Pepper Beef, British beef stew and mushy peas, and several made-to-order stations including dosas, piri-piri chicken, pasta, risotto, and noodles. Everything was quality and delicious, the night market atmosphere was fun and lively, and most amazingly, the buffet was just 13 GBP for a weekday lunch! That's not even enough for a single entree elsewhere in Britain, but here you could get plate after plate of foods from all around the world to your heart's content!

There's recently been a whole load of new development in the city centre giving way to this place, other restaurants, shops, cinema and even a waitrose. The area is lovely, very modern and clean. Considering it's been around for about a year, the place still looks brand new ! So.. Chimichangas.. I had great expectations of this place and upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by very friendly staff and shown to our seats. The interior is done well, spacious and modern with plenty of booth seating as well as tables The menu was pretty extensive offering all sorts of Mexican favourites (fajitas, burritos, quesadilla) as well as various meats and paella etc. Prices are not cheap but are fair. Good drinks selection too and a great cocktail menu. The food came and I had opted for a chimichanga considering I hadn't actually had one of these before. Other half opted for enchiladas. You could choose from a variety of meats as filling so I went for the pulled pork which I haven't eaten for about a year so had good expectations and other half opted for beef. Great portion sizes, both of these meals came with rice and black beans which were lovely. In terms of the actual star attraction though.. The meat didn't really taste of very much.. It was stuffed full of fresh veg etc. But it kind of felt like I was eating nothing.. This may have been a one off though and I am more than willing to come back and try again!! We still left happy and with full bellies so not all was lost. Regardless of experience this time, j love Mexican food so much I have a feeling this may become a regular stop for me when I am in town !

It's got to be said, I love living on Gloucester Road road. Not just because its bloomin' awesome,…read morebut because you can walk past a place like Shake Wrap & Roll for weeks, then go in and find a new favourite place to eat. I only went into Shake, Wrap & Roll because Street Food (Thai restaurant) up the road wasn't open yet. So I thought I'd give it a shot. Firstly, the smell as you walk in is amazing! If you like spicy food, which I do, your nose will identify some serious chilli action immediately. Not just spice, but some really nice flavours. I looked in the glass fridge counter and saw the selections of meats. Now, I've marinated some meet in my time, but I've never got it to look as tasty is this. The depth of colour in the chicken was really noticeable. So I went for it; a medium spicy chicken wrap with all the salad except olives. 5 or 6 minutes later it arrived, on a plate and cut in half. The smell was amazing and it tasted even better. I enjoyed every mouthful and until my last couple of bites I didn't want it to end. But fortunately it did. I was stuffed. Glad I didn't go for a large! If your after a MEGA tasty, quick and filling feed - this is it! Dare I say it - I'd SW&R over a Grecian! There, I said it - and meant it!

For me there is only one thing to get which is "gert lush wrap with extra meats" this may sound like gluttony however I really don't care and for £7.50 you really do get a belly full, how the keep it all in the wrap is beyond me but what ever they do... I like it! Staff are friendly and being able to chat with anyone must come in the job description as these people are little beauties! I have been to this place 5/6 times now and keep coming back, another reason would be because of the loyalty card they offer. Get 10 stamps and you get a free wrap of your choice and to get things really going they stamp it 3 times on your first visit, yes you heard me 3 on your first visit! Also if you live in or outside the lovely gloucester rd area then it is a perfect place to stumble down on your hangover and get a really tasty bite, and also get some of your 5 a day! Great place for a lunch break and also do breakfast wraps in the morning. Option to eat in with 3 tables and a bench bar or takeaway! "Winning, winning, winning"

We were craving hearty English food that had vegetarian options, and found very few options. We stumbled upon this place, and while obviously not "English" fare, it sounded good enough. We were offered a vegetarian/vegan menu- a real menu, not a tiny pamphlet! Hurrah! We got three tapas to share. The fondue was heaven. I highly recommend ordering it, even if it's not to share (after trying it, you might not be willing to!). Servers were polite and efficient, and the restaurant had a nice vibe to it. There was a cocktail lounge downstairs if that's your thing, and lovely outdoor seating. It's also tucked away in a little cove-type place, so it's a good escape from the tourist-packed streets of Bath. They also had two for one cocktails, and since I can't legally drink in my own country, this was a fun and cheap way to have my first drink in a restaurant!
