A kindergartner had put a school project on it while the glue was still wet and when he lifted up his project, a weird pattern of the wood stain was gone! Luckily the base of the table was in very good condition. Last summer, Danish Teak Classics worked a miracle. My table top looks like it did when it was new and we both were 40 years younger. The staff hauled the table top to & from my hatchback and wrapped it in a new movers quilt when I hauled it home. I highly recommend their restoring services.

I was dubious we could find a replacement that matched the existing item and thought at best we would have to replace all 12 pulls. We went to Architectural Antiques and they were able to help us find a replacement part (used of course! And since we brought the drawer they even installed the replacement part. The cost was minimal - much,much less than buying and installing all new hardware. The staff is upbeat and very helpful and they have everything from door knobs to light fixtures. It's an interesting place to go and browse.

They carry parts that have been salvaged from old buildings -- anything from a hinge, to parts for a door, to stained glass that has come out of churches and old houses. It's the place to look if you need a replacement, or if you want to add an antique cabinet, light, or window. I was able to find hinges that matched, when one broke, and I was able to find a door mechanism that fit our very strange front door lock (the door knob is in the center of the door, making the lock linkage extra long. Who shops there? Everyone from restaurants to businesses to average consumers. The people in the store miraculously know where everything is located and a very helpful. It's truly a treasure.

Frustrated at being able to get anyone to help me, I left. Today, I had a project, and I needed to find some old wood for shelving, so I went to the new location thinking it might be better. It wasn't. It was possibly worse. I think I was the only customer in the entire store, yet, I still could not get any help. The other people in the store - I thought they were customers at first, until I went upstairs, when one followed me up and turned on a light and then left, so maybe they worked there (or not). I had a piece I wanted to buy in hand, but when I approached them, they ran away to the back of the store. It is so rare and disturbing to want to give someone money, but not to be able to do so. I hate this place: so many great items and no way to buy them. I wish them luck. They will need it. I will take my business elsewhere.

The material frayed and pulled away from the seam so I called and worked with the warranty company and they said it was not covered. SERIOUSLY. Why do we have warranties and then Furniture Manor said I could bring my couch in and they would repair it for 175.00. I cannot move my couch in my jeep. Why can't you come out and repair it it is your crappy couch you sold me. The person I did pay to come out to repair it said this will probably happen again because it was loosely stitched and he said this is totally manufacturer defect and not sewn correctly. So I would not recommend anyone buying anything from Furniture Manor and their crappy warranty company. I thought I was helping a small store I will only go to the big box stores from now on. Very Disappointed in the customer service and standing behind what you sell.

What a Gorgeous little store loaded with unique gifts and home stuff!! They even have a guys and kids section. The gal was super sweet and chatty about the stores history and general information. It's only open weekends but used to be just once a month. I ended up coming home with some cool little Swedish wash clothes, a set of new glasses with French words on them and a gorgeous2 tiered platter rack thingy. I also REALLY wanted to bring home a unique one of a kind French bar cabinet but not sure where to fit it into our new place yet. I'll definitely be back for more cutesy gifts (most likely for myself!) and to see what else they add each month.

I still found lots of great ideas! I even bought an old pill bottle and have a list of a few other items I will go back to get, budget willing. My Mom got a peony type flower made out of old sewing patterns! Super cute! Our other fave ideas were old coffee carafes as planters and Ball jars painted metallic!
