I haven't had much interaction with staff beyond checkout, and I've noticed they don't typically come out onto the floor--at least not during my last couple of Thursday visits during Marketfest. There are 3 parts to this store and you owe it to yourself to experience them all! I started in the style area, which is the clothing part of the store. This is an upscale women's apparel store, with habitat, Liverpool, Johnny Was, and many other upscale brands. All of it is beautifully curated and displayed. You will have fun browsing the racks. The sales associates were super helpful and knew exactly how to interact with people--making customers feel welcome, but not pressured to buy. Downstairs, there is an amazing sales area. Don't miss this gem! Bargains galore and beautiful things! I'm sure it changes regularly. Then stop at the cafe and have a coffee, pastry, or freshly baked cookie. All the treats look and smell delicious. The staff was very sweet and service was prompt. After that, continue shopping at the Good Things gift shop. This is a top notch gift shop the likes of which I rarely see. It is brimming with themed displays for almost every interest or occasion. If you can't find a gift here, you may never find it! The two key items purchased: I had purchased what is one of, to date, my favorite spheres that I own. I own over a dozen. (A flawless Flower Agate Sphere, I cannot express or put into words how stunning it is, truly, it is beautiful) and the second is a remarkable Moss Agate Tower and it is MASSIVE ‐ it could have it's own gravitational pull, it emits thick and healthy energy and is damn near perfect.) From my observation, all of the stones were high quality. As someone who has been in the spiritual & stone/crystals business since 2013, I can say I've had my fair dealings with stores that sell crystals and stones and I can spot a "fake shop" a mile away, this place is legit. I can say with confidence, I didn't question or have doubts about anything they had available. If you're ever in this location, visit. The owner, cares about their customers experiences. There were two people working, one welcomed when entering, however the other had more of a "I'd rather not be here" vibe - my facial expressions are subtitles so I understand lol. We are human. After hearing from the owner, it changed my mind entirely which is why I am correcting this review. They contacted me regarding my review within 24 hours. As a business owner, I respect that. When a business owner is that attentive, they don't let incidents slip. Which makes me believe I made the mistake and misunderstood. With that being said, again, if you're ever in this area, check this place out. You could very well leave with something that could be the center piece of your collection or the perfect gift for a loved one. It's a short walk across the parking lot. I feel like there is something different about this Kowalski's location.... Seems bigger and brighter. I also love how it gives me cabin-ish vibes upon entering. My favorite section is on the right side as you walk in... the gift section and there's always so much to look at too. It can be dangerous! Thankfully I was on a time crunch this visit, and couldn't lollygag around too long. I also grabbed a few grocery items. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when I asked where something was. If you live in White Bear... you know but if not use your GPS for clear directions. Open 12-5 weekdays and check weekend hours. Set in a quiet area of White Bear Lake facing the road. in a nice building that smells like new furniture! Wonderful ! Parking in front , restroom and chilled water dispenser. Some new floor samples and a great selection on line. I was able to get a feel for the size of sectionals there and be sure to measure before you go and take a measure tape with you so you know what your room can handle. I had already found my fav sofa on line with them They order direct and in many cases like mine fast ship and delivery. My beautiful new chaise sectional + delivery minus my credit of $900 and a new sofa for $580. Worth every penny! More later once delivered!
