I got food poisoning bad to the point i went to the hospital. I saw the girl bartender Thursday night spit into drinks.

We went in at a little after 3 pm on a Sunday , sat down at the bar , and did not see anyone working there the entire 20 minutes we sat there. There was one woman sitting at the bar looking at her phone and a couple at a table, Understand not only did we not see anyone working, there was no noise from the back, and the three people we saw didn't even act as if they noticed we cam in or left the bar twenty minutes later. I've been here twice and counting for Thursday night karaoke (9p-2a), and although I don't drink or smoke, both times I have enjoyed singing my heart out with a good group of people. KAM Entertainment really does a good job with their karaoke disc jockeying. Karoake is on Thursday and Saturday nights. The crowd on Thursday is a bit smaller and familiar. Lots of newbies on Saturdays, I hear. The staff is really friendly. This last time I went, all I ordered and chugged down were glasses of water and they seriously waited on me and treated me with the same respect as a paying customer. I appreciate that. I think they got my drink memorized . You never know who you're serving! God bless them. The only thing I really didn't like was soooooo much smoking. Do not go to this bar. They over pour and serve drunk people. TABC should suspend their license. I met someone at the bar and we were talking and enjoying ourselves, she ended up having too much to drink and ordered alcohol on my tab. That person that ordered drinks on my tab ended up outside in the parking lot throwing up all over themselves, the cops were called, this poor girl nearly had alcohol poisoning! After trying to help her, and getting vomit on my hands, I went back inside to wash my hands and close out my tab. They refused to adjust my tab for her order. I paid for my tab and tossed the pen I used to sign the receipt on the bar in disgust, the pen landed on the bar. The next time I went in they said, "you're not allowed here." Turns out the staff lied to the owner and said I threw an ashtray at them? As I said, the staff here will over pour, serve drunk people, and lie/fabricate the truth if they don't like you. Great bar with attentive staff. I had some drinks and a chicken sandwich. It definitely hit the spot. I have been here in the past for Karaoke, which is really good by the way. Everybody might remember this place as Chuggin Charlies, or Hojo's, Moneypenny's, or whatever you say about it... To me, it's always going to be That One Bar with a lot of memories. Located on the North side of Louetta, East of the intersection with Kuykendahl. Near the Sears Hardware Store and La Cabana. This latest iteration welcomed my friends and I for a night well spent. The place is just meh, when you walk in it smells like you just stepped into a giant ashtray! I have been to bars where smoking is allowed and it's never this bad. Pretty awful.. Came here with a small group of friends on Saturday. First thing we did was order drinks. I ordered my usual rum and diet coke and boyfriend ordered Miller Lite... Upon the bartender walking boyfriend's beer over she took a sip of it I guess to make sure it was Miller... WTF? So we sent his back, and then I tried my drink... I was given an apple pucker and Dr. Pepper. I have never been so confused in my life. How is that even a drink? NO ONE DRINKS THAT! Over the course of our lovely evening here, my boyfriend was given a different beer EVERYTIME... So gross. You would think that beer would be a hard thing to mess up, but I guess unless you order a BOTTLED BEER, you aren't guaranteed what you order. read more

My husband and I have been a few times, the staff is friendly and the patrons are the same usual bar goers you would find in any other establishment. The restrooms are clean and the bartender (we have had the same one each time we have been, a girl, not sure her name) can mix some mean shooters. There is a variety of things to do In the bar (games; darts, pool, shuffleboard ect. normal bar stuff) as well as a stage for karaoke or a band. It's kind of small though and the last time we were there the karaoke host had the music turned up extremely loud. My only issue is I leave smelling like an ash tray. But again....it is a bar. The daytime bartender was great but when they switched at 7 things went bad. Took them 30 minutes to switch while I was ignored and then literally had to wave both hands to get the night bartenders attention while sitting at the bar! Should have been smart enough to leave then but ordered the steak special. Cook was good and tried but the steak was a terrible cut. Excellent bar, friendly staff, and karaoke on Thursdays. What could be better? The prices. I've rarely spent more for a beer....usually at The Pavilion during a show. However, the couches are comfy, the stage is elevated, the karaoke guys are nice, the Batman bartender kicks butt and lets me read my graphic novels in peace, so there's that! Last night was not a good night here! I do understand that this is a bar and it gets loud! When we come here we never have any problems but last night I had a run in with an off duty bartender named Taylor! She is rude and has a bad attitude! So it goes my friends and I sit right at the end of the bar right where you come in. Our usual bar staff is there! Steph and Jamie are great! Well we are listening to music and talking when little ms.Taylor takes the remote for the speaker and goes the max on the volume when her music comes on! She puts the remote down and walks away! Music is super loud, so I picked up the remote and lowered it just a bit so that we could hear ourselves with out screaming! Here comes the little pitbull Taylor. She starts to raise it up again and then says that she works here and that she is the manager! And that the remote is bar property and I can't touch it! Like if I were a child! First thing little girl check your attitude, next don't come at customers with a big ass chip on your shoulder, like you rule the roost! One you weren't even on the clock to be throwing around the fact that "I'm the mamger here!" Then after she went back and laughed as she told everyone at the other end what she had done! I was looking for a local bar that still had a decent crowd for a Thursday night and this place had it! There was Kareoke which I am always a fan of, pool tables, plenty of seating and decent drinks.
