Our big yelpy group came sauntering over here after visitng Excalibur brewery just a short walk away in the little town. And we kind of took over, as there were no other customers, lol. Or maybe 1 or 2, but they didn't stay long. They have a small stage near the entrance, great for live music. And a cutsey porch for socializing. And a back room with some cool art, and for a more moody vibe duck off place. Drinks- the menu is a cool old timey newspaper. I went with the Harvest Tequila, and was pleasantly surprised by. Very creative and smooth taste, apple, cinnamon and tequila, very fall yall. But it's the spring? So not sure if they just left on the menu as it was popular? Went on a recent Saturday about 9:30. Place was deserted except for 5 people. Band consisting of a man and a woman (I don't know the name of the band) was terrible. I spoke to the bartender and she said oh their first timers. I'm really surprised and I agree with you, we usually have them try out in the middle of the week. If you're looking for great customer service then look elsewhere.... We were looking for live music venues in the area and this place popped up for us. We walked in a few minutes before 8pm, to a nearly empty establishment with ZERO greeting from any staff member. Honestly, even a "hello, we will be right with you" would have sufficed... We found a table off to the side and sat there for about 15 minutes before anyone came up to us. After some time passed, a gentleman walked over and asked if we needed anything. After we received our drinks (they were really good btw), service was non existent again. We were going to order pizza but decided it just wasn't worth it. A group of 8-10 people walked in and we soon watched them walk right out because they were told by the female bartender to stay seated and not come to the bar for orders. I guess after waiting they eventually gave up and walked out. We saw another couple do the same...money walking right out of the doors. After that, she approached us but we had already decided to go eat elsewhere. As far as the live music, it was okay. Despite the poor service, we do plan on returning to hear some of the other bands, we just know not to expect anything spectacular from the customer service. read more

I'm so glad my friend brought me here. It was a really pleasant discovery! I didn't know what to expect but we had such a nice experience. First of all, it's a real speakeasy! The bartenders are dressed to the nines in 20's wardrobe. They have live music! We really enjoyed it. The drinks were awesome! But my favorite was the arugula prosciutto pizza! Wow! I discovered they make their dough from scratch! That was a real treat! I definitely recommend this place. Even if you aren't not close to their location, make a special trip! Nice little bar that makes great drinks. I've been to Hawaii and it's really hard to find a real Mai tai in the Houston area. This one is a close second to the Mai tai at Monkey POD in Oahu. We will definitely be back again and again. My husband really enjoyed his old fashioned. read more

Worst drinks we have ever had and the band playing was so loud we could barely talk to the server. Tried it once and won't be back.

Tried to go last night. Their website listed live music 7-10 pm. We got there about 7:30 pm, but it was completely closed. We weren't the only ones milling about and confused. We tried calling and no one answered. No signs on the doors. I'm really bummed, I was very much looking forward to experiencing this speakeasy as I'd heard great things. read more

Been here a couple of times in 2023 and the drinks were good. Went tonight and the service was not so great and the drinks were not good at all. The music was pretty good though. We visit Prohibition once a week which is down the street and they have master bartenders and awesome drinks. The bartenders at this place need training in customer service and drink making to be honest. read more

Wow! Now this is a cool little spot! Live music was fantastic and the bartender let us sample some of the mixes she makes from scratch while we waited on our pizza. The mojito mix was incredible! Since I wasn't drinking she offered to turn it into a limeade which I thought was incredibly kind. The pizza was super good, and we loved the speakeasy atmosphere. My wife and I have been here twice. They have a great environment and setup with live entertainment. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. The bartender Tiffany is not very friendly. She can make a drink but that's where it ends. Both time we came we gave her a chance to show some personality. She is standoffish, dry, not very friendly. You ask her questions and its light she seems bothered to be talked to. If they had friendlier staff then we would definitely come back. read more

Neat little place, with good drinks. Despite what the last review said regarding Tiffany the bartender/owner she was great with us. She explained the drinks, talked with us about her dogs, we talked about ours, etc...She was definitely very knowledgeable in craft drinks and she even freshly squeezes her own juices. They had live music, and 2 little dogs running around. They also have a deal on a monthly membership for the barbershop. I thought that was neat.
