I went into the church not knowing if I had a dj or not. When I got to my venue josh had just arrived and was setting up. He was supposed to arrive two hours ahead of time and he barely made it an hour before. I had also hired him to play a slideshow that my mother spent hours putting together of my husband and I in addition to a black and white movie. We had previously discussed which wall it would go on. I walk into the space and the projector was set up on the wrong wall and it was so close to the wall that we couldn't even see the beautiful slide show that my mother put together clearly. It was heartbreaking. As far as the actual music part, he played good song choices. However, he played them all the way to the end, no dj skills to transition from one song to the other. Honestly, I could have put on Spotify or Pandora and it would have been the same. I had to also tell him when to play the father daughter dance and had to signal him when to stop the song so that we could play the first dance song. All in all it was not a good experience. I'm a big Yelp and review person and I am not quite sure how he got so many good reviews but he definitely dropped the ball at my wedding big time. His services left a lot to be desired from.

I found them on a Google search trying to find somewhere that would accommodate vegan options, as I (and several of my guests) are plant -based. I was thrilled reading reviews from others experience with Chef Ravi and The Chic Chef Team and decided to reach out. Their website is every easy to navigate and their food options were exactly what we were looking for. They were so accommodating while I started the planning process 100% remotely while living in California, and experienced some delays with the pandemic era. We had to scale down quite a bit from our original plan, make necessary adjustments and they were able to reconfigure our menu and options to fit our final needs. The email communication and assurance Chic Chef provided to my groom and I was excellent, and eased our minds while having to delay and rest assured being able to utilize Chic Chef after postponing. As soon as we had the tasting, we booked with Chic Chef immediately and didn't even try any other caterers it was that good. They met with my venue to do a final walk through a few weeks before the wedding. Day of, everything was executed flawlessly. The food was SO good. From the passed appetizers, salad, bread options, and entrees- everything was amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests raving that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding.
