This place is great! The bars they have for inexperienced skaters to push around are super helpful…read more Food was good, staff were excellent!

Came here for an event on Saturday and it was initially pretty empty but it did get very crowded…read morequickly. You can tell people definitely take this skating thing serious. Felt like I was in the movie ATL and fighting for my life in here, will NOT be back. I've skated before but I am no pro and I will admit that, but I didn't know I was in the damn derby! There were people literally skating within centimeters of you on purpose to try and make you fall. Not to mention it was rather hot in there and peoples wind wasn't smelling too fresh. (If you can't skate, I don't suggest taking a bathroom break with your skates on because, well yeah, use your imagination. Not to mention the floor is slippery as all hell in there) There was not anyone behind the snack bar for quite some time and then when she did come over, it was like she was under too much pressure. (Not sure how, the oven wasn't even working) so we could only get drinks (Luckily we brought our own skates because the way those people were sweating and smelling, no thank you) If YOU CAN skate && I mean SKATE SKATE (you know I mean business because I said it twice) then definitely give it a try. It's not a beginner friendly rink by any means. (No bars to hold on to or any order at all) There was an older woman and man in there getting their money honey, right in the middle of the rink. Worked them up a great old sweat and then sat on them chairs people were sitting to eat. Also (sign the waiver before you go to avoid waiting even longer)

This rink is a joke of a rink. As soon as i walked in i felt as if i was going to die to a swarm of…read morerats. The worst part of the rink was the locker rooms. The locker rooms smelled of dead rats and poop then I realize that the locker rooms were split up and I wouldn't be able to sit with the rest of my team then once we got onto the bench, we realized that there was a hole just before the offensive door. many players on our team fell through it including a kid named Jason Smith. he fell and ate shit onto the ice it was extremely devastating because he got injured and was not a not able to score the penalty shot that he was awarded later that game. Once we got back into the locker room we found 4 rats scurrying around the bathroom that was in the middle of our locker room. The rats were trying to eat the moldy poop that was left in the toilet/urinal. It was clear that the poop had been left in the bathroom for at least 3 weeks. I was extremely disappointed by this rink and I will never attend it again.

In a word - awful. It's old. It's dirty. It's really cold. The locker rooms are beyond small. Tiny…read moreis overstating their dimensions. Worst I've seen in 6+ years of youth hockey. They do have a snack bar... and stands on one side of the ice for fans. The benches, for the teams, are also tiny. It's like a real hockey rink, only older, dirtier and smaller.

Oh, there's a skating rink out there in Quincy? Well, Yelp didn't know about it either so I guess…read moreI shouldn't feel bad that I didn't know. Out in the front they have a handful or two of parking spots, but out in the back there's a really nice sized parking lot that I covet for the other (more convenient) skating rinks I frequent. Five long benches were plenty for the decent sized crowd that I found sprawled out on the rink this afternoon. Everyone left their shoes and bags under the benches since there were no shelves or lockers available for our use. But the gal's bathroom with 3 toilets, 2 sinks, and a super strong blow dryer, was really clean and well stocked with toilet paper and soap. I had my own skates, but my friend rented a pair of hockey skates for $5 at the snack bar window, which also had hot chocolate and a small selection of candy for sale. I like that they have an area with benches that the kids can put on their skates or the parents can sit and wait while the kids are in their lessons. They also have standing areas around the rink so one can watch their children skate, but it can get cold and it's nice to have the option of sitting out and warming up. The rink can use some updating tho, but overall it's a good place for the kids to skate.
