I've definitely had better Thai food in the region. The Panang curry tasted very strongly of oil and was OK at best. Our server was quite rude and and didn't know much about the dishes. read more

(Who uses Yelp in Europe? oop) The menu was a bit overwhelming because the Thai/Viet food that I was used to in the states was not the same here. ( And thank God the owner spoke English!) The pho came with tonkin noodles, but it was still delicious. They had sriracha and hoisin sauces - you have to ask. The papaya salad was absolutely fire - literally. I drank so much water because it was so spicy. It was topped with some pork grinds. The egg rolls were great! It came with some fish sauce (and not Thai sweet chili). The mango stick rice was really good. Although by dessert time, I was pretty full. They have Asian beer here! I saw a lot of food delivery people coming in and out. They must be popular for take away. The owner lady was very kind.

Not as authentic as Vietnamese food in California but pretty good. 4 star. * Service: really good and fast but probably because my family is their regular customers! 4 star. Came here with my family while visiting my family in Brussels. They love this place. I had pho and fried rice. Pho is pretty good. Their broth has good flavor but a bit lighter for European palate. They do not have black sauce (Hoisin sauce) for pho. It is not unusual that Northern Vietnamese do not have Hoisin sauce with their pho. Once again, as their restaurant name indicated, their food is Northern Vietnamese style! Fried rice is pretty good with some twist of fried shallots and bean sprouts but I enjoyed it. Overall, it is good enough to satisfy my Vietnamese food craving!

The pad thai was too sweet and over powered the dish. Pad thai is suppose to be sweet, salty and sour. It's missing the two other flavors. Ambience wise: it's nice. You dine in a intimate backyard area. Service wise: We asked to order smaller portions but the waitress attempted to push us to order more. After we had left overs we asked to have the food boxed up. They felt it was best to throw out our fried rice which was only half eaten and box the other one. Price wise: For the area I guess they have the right to charge more since there are less thai food locations around but the quality doesn't compare. Overall: I wouldn't come here again.
