We went to Baca's as a group of 15. We had 7 kiddos, 6-14 and they had a blast! So did the adults. We went on a Friday night at 7pm. There was karaoke and dancing too! The kids enjoyed playing pool, corn hole, giant connect-4 and punching bag game. The food: the food was great!! No one in our group had a bad thing to say. The chicken fried steak was tender and delicious, crab cakes were so big and very tasty, the burger was amazing, the nachos are huge and yummy and the kids loved their chicken wings and corn dogs! They have a full bar too. We were so very pleasantly surprised by the amount of fun we had!!! We will definitely be coming here more often, especially if the kids want to go out to eat bc I don't have to keep them in chairs at the table the whole time!! Hahaha read more

It was very.. meh... We were the only ones in the joint on a Sunday game day for the Texans. That wasn't the real issue as this place is pretty isolated so you figure it might be quiet. However, the real thing for me is that it was dark and uninviting inside. I don't know if it was the glare of the lights from over on the other side of the seating area that had the pool tables or maybe it was that for viewing the TV screens you were having to sit so far away from the action. The closest tables were right under the TV screens so that wasn't going to work either. The bright point to it was the beers weren't expensive, even for imported. We ended up over at another nearby country bar that rhymes with Bevo and it was packed to the brim with people watching the game and hanging out. read more

Our first visit but we will definitely go back and try more menu items. My husband and I ordered the Captains Choice. It had 2 pieces of catfish, 4 shrimp and a crab cake served over a bed of fries and a couple of hush puppies. It was delicious and even though we shared the plate we couldn't finish it. We also met a very nice fella from Willow Springs and enjoyed visiting with him for about an hour. The owner was very nice and the waitress, Lindsey, was wonderful. The prices were great! This is a good place that the Fayetteville area NEEDS. You do NOT want to live somewhere where you can't get a bite to eat and a drink after sundown. Think about it. We were visiting the area from Dallas and had our Thanksgiving dinner there, then returned over the weekend. Food and drinks were great. Bombers appetizer is delicious. Same for the cheese balls. Kickin' Chicken Sandwich, fried, was especially good. Onion strings and garlic fries were tasty sides. Captain's Choice seafood platter was great - the shrimp especially stood out. Burgers were good, too. Drinks were well-prepared and we were given a choice of hooch. Can't beat that. Service was excellent, the owner and staff are super cool, and I badly hope they make it through current tough times so we can return next time we're down there. People, support independent local businesses like this. When you think about going to McD, BK, PH, etc., instead stand behind places like 159 junction. Baca's is our local go-to for a night of fun. Great food, good drinks! Lots to do. Full-sized pool tables. Patio seating with oversized Jenga and other games to play. Volleyball court. Pirate bar. They host great bands and have regular karaoke nights. I love their garlic wings and my husband loves their street tacos, but all the food is great! read more
