    Update: You all never said it didn't go through. And nothing can be done when I first moved in and the stains were already there? And I have the proof

    My family and I lived here for a very short period of time -- and well, we should have done our research thoroughly before leasing at this place. Don't believe me? Need to know reasons why? READ ALONG. 1. This property boasts "upscale" -- but what is "upscale" and "luxury" when your garage gates don't work a portion of the time? When the people who are occupying the property feel rather unsafe? When TRUCKS are STOLEN and the property **which clearly has cameras installed** states they can't release the footage / the cameras don't work? 2. A majority of the front staff is TRASH. I hate to use harsh words, but this time I will be calling it like it is. This isn't the first apartment complex that I've lived in, so I know a thing or two. With the exception of Grant & Dylinda, the rest of them had an aura of superiority in which it seemed like they were the tenants and we were property management. For example, when we were vacating the property -- we were told to get professional carpet cleaning done in order to not be charged (even if the carpets are clean!) and so we did. I sent the receipt to Vanessa in an email so excuse my shock when I received a statement via snail mail stating that I was being charged an additional $65 for carpet cleaning. FOR WHAT?! I had to call 5 times over a period of 3 DAYS to get this figured out...and I was calling the property MANAGER. I resent the receipt (3rd times the charm?) and after that I heard some BS excuse. She did FIX the mistake, but damn did it take a few days. Maybe it was an air of arrogance, or maybe it was just Vanessa. *eye-roll* 3. They have a "so-called" courtesy officer that myself and some of the other residents have had a hard time getting through too. For the time that I needed to put my toddler to sleep, the neighbors upstairs were having a "banger" & my husband called the number for that officer -- well, the noise never stopped and the officer never called back. Mystery? I think not. 4. You would think that when you pay close to $2000 in rent per month, you'd be able to live in a somewhat safe and quiet complex. Well, this is NOT the one friends. Many times, the tenants here **see pictures** stated their concerns about loud noises, unattended kids / young adults at the pool having parties AFTER HOURS and even going so far as to knocking on residents DOORS late hours of the night. Where's management? ONLY GOD KNOWS. 5. VALET TRASH. In order to live here, you pay a MANDATORY $130 monthly for a fetch service where your packages are delivered when you want (and many end up going missing!), a trash service on days Mon - Thurs where you leave your trash bag outside your door and an employee comes to collect it and throw it in the dumpster for you. Well, this happens 80% of the time. Sometimes, the halls REEK of unattended garbage and dog shit. It's absolute disgust. **see pictures** 6. MISSING PACKAGES? This is quite common @ The Abbey At Sonterra. It's probably not even the residents stealing each others packages; it's the people the management can't track down through their *useless* cameras. Thankfully we found a place to REALLY call home, and we RAN with it. Even paid the additional $5500 to say ** GOOD RIDDANCE** My list can go ON & ON. But you're probably already smart enough to realize that you should keep looking for another apartment home to call your home. If not and you've chosen this God Forsaken Place, PEACE BE WITH YOU MY FRIEND.

    BAIT AND SWITCH!! STAY AWAY!! CHECK OUT THE PICS! THEY DON'T LIE. I'm a 100% disabled veteran with a 3b3d/2bath with 1 car, but I have to pay $60 on top of my rent for "premium parking" because there is only 1 handicap space for this section of the property. On that note, there isn't enough parking for all the residents!! This is a known design intention for money grabbing. Bug infestation even after multiple service request. The drive through gates and elevators are out of service on a regular basis. There is broken glass and equipment in the gym. Those mirrors have been damaged for at least 2 months now. I'm told the broke glass is not a safety concern. Fix it!! It looks like crap and broken glass is absolutely a safety issue. There is also a service fee to pay rent. Yeah, a fee to pay rent. $1.95 for e-check and more like $60 to use a card. See the pics!! This is all true!!! Management appears to be young and inexperienced. The owners are all about grabbing your money. You have been warned.

    We have problems with their neighbors and even trying to call the office and then trying the very best and we went them to move out so much and we just want peace and quiet because those little kids where and I think I heard one of their names write the Little kids and it was Dominic the name I heard there is Dominic and I heard the Nom and look an their kids in the Mom and the kids are so annoying and they don't do you don't care we Vibing with the broom think it's scary stuff

    I've been living here for one year now and I can confidently call this place my home…read more I was not able to tour in-person before signing, but the managers were very accommodating, and FaceTime/sent pictures throughout the whole process. They were so patient and helped me find the perfect floor plan (first floor, big patio, and kitchen island). I am absolutely in love with my space, the layout, and this neighborhood. Benefits: - Quiet neighborhood - Close to restaurants (walking distance) - Close to grocery stores (walking distance) - Close to the military base (10 minutes drive) - Right next to a big park/walking trail Cherry on top: - Apartment pool/patio area is luxurious and clean - Monthly events (poolside yoga, food trucks, and random donut/pizza days) - Amazing front staff (Rick is always available to answer questions and always in a bubbly, happy mood) - Amazing maintenance team (Henry is on top of it with fixing everything from a leaky sink, washing machines, and the AC). I have a stressful job (as I am sure many of my neighbors do), and it is so nice to not have to worry about anything at home. Maintenance is extremely efficient and friendly. They go out of their way to help. The apartments and community are beautiful. Any concern is promptly addressed. There is little staff turnover. I am so grateful to live here, and for the great team here!
