Always delicious but lately they have been so lazy!! The bowls dont taste right and they dont blend all the way through. Getting a mouthful of powder is annoying.

The employees barely smiled and I was given barely enough acai in the bowl. The bowl was 10% acai, 35% granola, and 55% fruit. I will not pay what I paid again for lazy work.

I got a Choc-a-maca bowl and added chocolate protein powder. The medium size is pretty hefty, so if you want a light breakfast or snack go with the 8oz. I came early on a Saturday and they weren't busy. I got my order within 5 minutes. The fruit was very fresh. I really like the chocolate granola and banana + strawberry combination. I got my order to go, but seems like a cool place to hang out and enjoy your order. They have a few games at their tables.

We were craving Açaí on our cross country drive and this was the closest to where we were- but I'm so glad we went. There was no wait, Our order was taken quickly, and we received our food within 5 minutes of ordering. We got the Choco Maca and the almond berry bowls. Both were delicious and seemed like they were made with quality ingredients. Next time we run through we will be back!

Love this place they have the best Pitaya all the fruits are fresh. The only reason I didn't give this place a 5 is because it takes forever to get your bowl. They do have games to play but if you are in a rush Beware! It takes a while but it is worth the wait it is super Yummy glad I stopped by!

So many vegan options-thank you! Avocado toasts were great and healthy option. Tried cocowhip for the first time and it was interesting for sure. The iced coffee is good-happy it was made with almond milk, but consider opting without the agave, since it's super sweet. Wish we could have tried the acai bowls or oatmeal but they were closed Sundays I wish it had been easier for contactless ordering-their app charges $1 for convenience but you still have to go inside to pick it up.

I'll have to get a better photo next time but this was strawberries and cream on the left and avocado toast with cucumber on the right.

I can't help but give this place 5 stars because the food was so delicious and fresh. The portions seemed kind of small when I first received them but my gosh the quality is so excellent that I enjoyed every bite and can't wait to go back. I had just spent about half an hour in a parking lot trying to figure out if there was any place closer than East Amarillo Boulevard to find some strawberries and cream because I had such a craving for them. Everything seemed to be around four or five miles away but I came across the listing for the Acai Bar which I had been meaning to try anyway so I thought maybe I could find something fruity to satisfy my craving and also be healthy. It was nearly dinnertime and I had eaten breakfast out already. I don't usually eat two meals out in one day so I was only planning on getting a snack. The avocado toast hooked me in though as it always does. I ended up with the avocado toast with cucumbers and cayenne pepper which was absolutely heavenly. When I told the girl about my craving and what did they have that might be similar she said they had just started serving a strawberries and cream combination a few days earlier, less than a week! How's that for providential timing! They actually use the Cocowhip to put the strawberries in. I've never had Cocowhip before and was very impressed by it. In fact I headed for Natural Grocers after I left the Acai Bar and bought a Cool Whip type container of Cocowhip to take home. The total meal was $14 with tax and tip and worth every cent. I will be back and highly recommend it to others.

I tried The Acai Bar for the first time a couple weeks ago and LOVED it. This review is long overdue. Their service, cleanliness, and food are very good! I started my fitness journey about the same time I heard about The Acai Bar. The first bowl I had was a Monkey bowl and it was so flipping good. I tried the Choc-A-Maca bowl next and it has become my favorite. I've also tried the Brazilian bowl and Almond Berry Bowl. All the bowls I've had were very good. When I first walked in, it smelled very clean. The place was tidy and cute. I could tell they regularly mop the floors and keep the place clean. They have courteous service. The servers are very nice and they are pretty quick to make your order. I love that they play Christian music. It is positive and uplifting. The couple of times my order was messed up, they were very kind, apologized and made it right. They are usually very good about nailing each order. Also, they serve each bowl so pretty, just as advertised in the pics. They take pride in what they serve. They are pricey but healthy food isn't cheap. Their fruit is fresh. I can tell it hasn't been stored long. I love that they have call ahead. You can also submit an order online but I always call in. I'm thankful we have The Acai Bar because having a healthy smoothie place has helped me shift from my unhealthy eating habits.

High praise for being the only healthy eating establishment I could find on Yelp in Amarillo... unfortunately that does not mean they make praise worthy Acai bowls. I got the Brazilian Bowl and added some additional fruit toppings, as well as extra granola. My bowl was mostly frozen (typical for Acai served in the States, not traditional by any means though.) and the fruit was frozen but admittedly, fairly fresh tasting. I really liked the plethora of fruit options offered, which allowed for lots of different flavor possibilities. Both the Acai blend, and the toppings, could be modified. Selection included standards like banana and strawberry... more exotics included pineapple, peach, and more. They also offered Agave and Honey as sweetener. Kudos to the business for this: most people don't realize that Acai is actually fairly bitter. The sweetener options are a great touch. Unfortunately, shit got weird with the granola. I was expecting steel cut oats, or clusters of actual oats stuck together with honey. Instead, I basically got some kind of puffy rice-like cereal. Very disappointing. My favorite part of an Acai bowl is that fresh Oat crunch. The puffy cereal tasted like broken dreams and soggy lies. @Owner you can do better. Spend a little more on the granola please. read more

The Acai Bar is such a blessing to Amarillo. It reminds me of the first time I tried an Acai bowl at Da Cove Health Bar & Cafe in Honolulu, HI - so every time I have a bite of Acai it brings me back to paradise. Once you enter the doors at The Acai Bar you get a sense of clean, relax & healthy feeling. The store is ALWAYS kept organized & tidy. The menu is displayed for people in line to see they also have a paper menu. Not only do they have acai bowls but they have pitya (dragon fruit) and smoothies. I have tried a number of their items on their menu & all are my favorite. There are places to sit inside and outside. Patty is the owner and she is a kind, understanding women. Since I'm breastfeeding I can't have any milk or soy products due to my son having a milk protein allergy. She looked into the ingredients for me making sure I can stillindulge in the Acai bowls and still be able to feed my son. I love the fact that they have a punch card! Great place to get a Açaí bowl. Fresh and taste soooo good. Friendly staff and I have never had a bad bowl here, they have a good menu and a choice of smoothies, bowls, some toast based sandwiches that I have not tried yet.. but they look great, oatmeal's good. Employees are borderline rude and annoyed with your visit. If this happened once or twice I would understand. These are the best acai bowls I've ever had! I recommend the Choca Maca. Chocolate and acai complement each other insanely well. I also was impressed with the service. I realized after I ordered that I could substitute almond milk for coconut milk in my acai base. Despite already having started to make my bowl, they cheerfully accommodated my request. I really love this place! Every bowl and smoothie that I have tried has been absolutely amazing. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients and the best part is that there is no sugar added, the ingredients are vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and organic. They also just extended their hours to stay open until 7 pm to accommodate more people's schedules. This is such a gem to Amarillo! I love supporting local businesses and the owners/staff are so helpful and friendly. Stopped by this little treasure on our way to Florida. Not only was the management an example of true human kindness but my Acai bowl was INCREDIBLE! I had the monkey bowl and my hubby had the berry blast (smoothie). Both were fantastic. I couldn't take a picture bc I ate it so fast:) I wish we lived closer, we would stop in daily! read more

What is Acai (pronounced ah-sah-ee) you ask? It is a purple super fruit berry that originates from the acai palm tree, which is native to Central and South America. Studies have shown that acai fruit pulp is even richer in antioxidants than cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, or blueberries. Our bowls are blended with this berry and topped with the freshest, juiciest fruit and other delicious ingredients.

Established in 2016.

Inspired by the laid back lifestyle and the healthy breakfast & lunch alternatives in Southern California, we introduce you to the mega superfood known as the açaí berry. I knew this is something that I wanted to share with everyone in my own local community. The Açaí Bar sources fresh ingredients so you can be sure that you are eating clean. All bowls are topped with a variety of the freshest fruits, honey, organic granola, and most bowls have organic coconut shreds. I have made it my mission to provide our local community with this healthy and delicious superfood option and promote an alternative for convenient clean eating.

went in here for my morning cup and ask if they had pour over. i was looking over the selection of…read morebeans and cashier suggest the house blend. try it and was underwhelmed. seems to be a bit diluted. and i tasted a little sour note. sorry, i dont like sour african coffee. my preference is south american chocolate nutty notes. i also felt the coffee to water ratio was perhaps higher to my liking. i usually do 20g coffee to 200ml water about a 10-11 ratio. this tastes kinda like a 15-16 ratio. i think this is just personal preference as I am just used to drinking more concentrated coffee than standard. my grind is also smaller thus if i extract to long, the coffee becomes bitter... anyways, pour over is a science with grind size, pour process and ratios all contributing to the flavor profile... not to mention the beans itself.. the only thing i would have wanted is a flight of different beans so I can try a variety and thus purchase the beans i like perhaps i should have instructed them to do a 10-11 ratio. anyways, the breakfast burrito was good and the place looks to be a really nice spot to hang as well. decided not to buy any beans.. perhaps i will mail order and try the other beans once I need to replenish my beans in a month or so
