Now lets get to the food the Turkey sausage was amazing the Gluten Free Waffles were to die for and I had no reaction which is a major plus. All of the staff and owners are extremely friendly and have a way of making you feel at home. They love family's and babies and honestly the best and safe test booster seats for your little which is appreciated coming from a mom of an active little. The atmosphere is very light and airy farm house which adds to a great start to the day. The food and the coffee are to die for and just the perfect amount of sweet. As for the bacon I've never been to a breakfast restaurant that makes perfect bacon. I'm glad we've found our breakfast spot. read more

Service was friendly, you order at the front and they deliver your food and drinks to your table. I opted to sit outside as the inside was playing non stop religious music. The Mimosa didn't really taste right ( like the ratio of champagne to juice was heavily skewed to juice ) but the rollies were delicious despite being served cold. First thing when you walk in you see all the interior designing, it's beautiful makes it feel like a safe place. The staff where very friendly, they asked us where we were coming in from and let us pin our home location on there board. It was a cool atmosphere even noticed they had a lot of games like connect four, quirkle etc. The food was okay, I certainly think we just didn't get the right items on the menu. We got plane croissant, waffle browns and French toast. Next time I'll be sure to try a waffle. read more

Ok y'all- not only is the food here top tier, the vibes are immaculate, and the owners are super sweet!! Such a local gem! Mom and pop shop. The coffee is delicious, tried waffles of all kinds and are perfect, we really enjoyed the loaded waffle browns (hash brown waffles!!) Mimosa flight was delicious for brunch. Brought family of 5 here as we were craving waffles, and Golden Waffle Co did not disappoint. Waffles were great, coffee was great, service was great. The environment was clean and well kept. I'm not a fan of counter order at a restaurant, it's more in place at fast food. Also not a fan of a condiments area where you bring your coffee for cream and such, but I realize these are both personal preferences. read more

We haven't eaten here in a long time because it was always "meh" to me. We decided to try again and I'm very pleased! So pleased in fact I was like...this has to be different owners. And it is! New owners took over in February and they're doing a wonderful job! Tweaked the menu a little and added some new items (one was the hippie toast, I was recommended to try and it was SO GOOD, I'm already planning my next visit to get that again!) They got rid of the metal trays and paper and opted for traditional plates, which IMO made the experience so much better. Owners are GEMS and this place surely has new life thanks to them. I have celiacs disease and I always feel safe eating here. I have let them know that I have an allergy and if it comes out even questionable they will go back and make sure it's done correctly. We eat there maybe 3 times a month and is always great. The gluten free waffles are amazing. My personal favorite is the fat Elvis with a chi latte. Party of 4 adults on a Sunday morning. We ordered 2 waffles with pecans and bacon; 1 veggie wrap; and 1 breakfast plate - egg, bacon, waffle. Pros: As reported by other yelpers, this place has a clean and lively atmosphere; and excellent staff. Cocktails are served! Ok: Food and drinks are good. Portions are average to large. And, I found the price reasonable (about $12 per person). Others felt it was expensive for waffles. Why they lost the star: The menu is confusing to the newcomer. For example, you should always ASSUME it's a waffle. "Wraps" are not in tortillas, they are in waffles, "Sammy/sandwiches" are not served on slices of bread, they are served between 2 waffles. This is very fun and on the theme, but explained NOWHERE. "Sweets" are not pastries, they are toppings for the assumed waffles (how many waffles?). A "Waffle Brown" is a hashbrown shaped like a waffle. Options to consider: Order waffle and bacon crispy. Order honey or spicy honey instead of syrup. read more

Comparing it to Waffle Champion in OKC, I'd rate Waffle Champion with 4.5 stars. Not a bad breakfast place in town, but be prepared for the aftertaste with those waffles. Came to town from Houston! Had breakfast with my Aunt and started with the Matcha. Dwayne, the owner, came by and talked for a little bit, he was very sweet and personable! He mentioned his wife, Jennifer, decorated the restaurant for Christmas, I mentioned she liked snowmen, because they were everywhere! Haha! Super sweet people! There were people that came in and got in their computers and just ordered coffee or tea. 4 Stars ambiance and atmosphere Food - This is where they fall short. If you just get a regular waffle (or with a regular topping) it is good. 4 starts for their regular waffle. Unfortunately, this is like a "gourmet" waffle place. Their specialty waffles are not good. I got the waffles and gravy and the waffles were warm but the gravy was cool. It was very small and more of an appetizer than an actual meal and is way overpriced (1 star). We got the chicken and waffles. It is what you expect fried chicken and a waffle nothing extravagant. It was temperature hot though! (3 stars) We also got the waffle bites? (Sorry I don't remember the actual name) It was a funnel cake. Tasted exactly like one just looked like a waffle. If you like funnel cake than this is for you. We didn't expect it for breakfast food though and hence the low star rating. (2 stars) Food rating - 3 Starts. Overall it's a 3 star review because of the food.
