So upon returning from my trip my husband had moved out. He was going to her twice a week while I was gone for three weeks. She made him realize that he didn't love me anymore after 20 years. Which I asked them not to meet without me because it was marriage counseling! Not one on one counseling they both knew this. This all happened within three months. If you're looking to save your marriage please don't go to her, find someone that is still married. I really hoped she would've helped my marriage but she didn't.

I was also able to successfully teach English language learners. The method I use is simple. I start students at the beginning of reading - phonics. I teach students the letter sounds and how to write each letter to avoid reversals that may or may not be a sign of dyslexia. Then students learn how to use those sounds to build words through a dictated spelling program. From building words we move to using those words to write sentences with correct grammar and punctuation. Reading, writing, and spelling are the necessary elements of literacy. I've been tutoring students, both children and adults, for the past 22 years. I help adults improve their reading, writing, and spelling skills using the same method. Adult students generally learn at a much faster pace. Reading enrichment classes are available.

It can be difficult as a professional and consumer looking for online classes for certifications, continuing education classes or classes that keep you on the cutting edge in your field. I had 1 referral for The Addictions Academy from a counselor friend did my due diligence and signed up for the Nationally Certified Intervention Training Class (Webinar). I was amazed that the class also contained a separate Ethics course but MOST IMPORTANTLY the Webinar class included case management certification which is an actual "license". This is important because in the field of intervention itself there is no licensing requirements. Even for those of us who are Certified Substance Abuse Counselors with the appropriate designations Intervention is a completely different animal. The Case Management course purchased by itself is about and $800 value. Our instructor was Dr. Cali Estes. I didn't know anything about her other than the credentials I reviewed on the website as I scrolled through all the faculty on staff. I did not know who the instructor would be! I cannot say enough amazing things about not just the class but the amount of insight into the "real life" world of Drug and Alcohol Interventionist's. The materials were right on point and Dr. Estes took the time to answer every question, covered every bit of the material and did actual case studies with us of real life interventions she has been involved in. Not only would I highly recommend The Addictions Academy for any kind of training or certification in the field of Alcohol and Substance Abuse I would recommend Dr. Estes and her team to anyone who wanted the best intervention for someone they love. The Addictions Academy and Dr Cali Estes have provided an excellent training. I recently took the National Certified Recovery Coach - 1 (NCRC-1) course. I was impressed by the depth of experience and wisdom that was provided in the training. It wasn't just a presentation, it was a presentation backed by experience. Dr Estes provided real life examples, as we went through each step of the class, in order to help us connect the written education, with what we would truly encounter as a Recovery Coach. I work in an Active Sober Community instructing fitness classes and providing event facilitation as well as supporting our members who are required to have at least 48 hours of continuous sobriety. This training will allow me to go to the next level in my ability to support our members and the community we serve. I have worked in Health & Fitness for many years, and I have experience with teaching and coaching behavior change, mostly in nutritional arenas. The information, techniques, and focus of The Addiction Academy course was consistent with that training, and was carefully crafted to help us understand the contents thoroughly and comprehensively. Please do your own due diligence. NAADAC no longer recognizes The Addictions Academy courses. The only credential that you receive from TAA are from TAA, worthless. I've been in the recovery industry for 16 years. Not accredited by any reputable governing body. read more

My son has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm excited to see what his continued education at this unique school will do for him as he matures. The class sizes are small and the campus is amazingly situated in picturesque downtown Ft. Pierce. Tuition is affordable and they accept Step Up for Students as well. The headmistress Mandy Doss is attentive and seems to know every child by name. This is the kind of family environment you just won't get in public school or even larger private schools. It seems every other week there's a fun event, activity, or field trip that keeps the kids engaged and us parents involved and able to participate hands-on. We're over the moon with our SAEA experience and hope to keep our boy (and subsequent kids!) there all through grade 12. Thank you, SAEA, for making this an easy choice to be proud of!

I let the front desk…read morelady know that I needed temporary childcare for 3 months ONLY for my daughter who is speech and developmental delayed and I vividly expressed that she does not do well with change so she will need the willingness of the teachers to give her time to adjust to the new environment. My daughter was transferring from another daycare so it's not like she's not used to school. The first day she wined in the beginning and threw up because she was crying and uncomfortable. They didn't call me and pushed through it and after she realized she was staying at school regardless she settled down and had a great rest of the day, from what 2 different teachers told me. But the next day it happened again and the front desk lady was adamant on making sure I was called if she puked so I could pick her up, which is totally fine I know my daughter isn't sick, no fever, no cough nothing, I'll go get a drs note and show her that she's fine, we just need willingness to get my daughter through this right? No not at all, because the very next day she threw up again from her nerves and I was called to pick her up and for the lady at the front desk to tell me that she's sending transfer papers out and this isn't a good fit for daycare for my daughter. Even though I said ahead of time that my daughter would not have an easy adjustment period. I wasted 150$ plus buying all these uniforms required for them to push her out of the door without even giving her a chance to get used to everything. I could see if after 2 weeks she wasn't getting any better than yeah duh but no you just showed me how unfit, uneducated, uncaring, unwilling, and how this school will not make any effort to make a child whose delayed comfortable. Sometimes new children need extra attention temporarily to feel safe. And if you have employees working there that are so uneducated and unwilling to help struggling children and PARENTS then you shouldn't be a facility period. I will never refer a child here. Because if you're child isn't perfect walking in the door then they will transfer your child out of the facility without a notice or even trying. Im literally disgusted with the experience i just had here and the time and money i barely had wasted. I struggle buying food let alone paying a registration fee, uniforms and a weekly fee to a place who doesn't want to try. The owner or director or who ever runs this place needs to redirect the front desk lady to not checking out every child who isn't perfect. And my email says the school wrote the reason for discharge was because i requested it. WOW LMAO. No its because the front desk lady told me that my daughter puking from being nervous was too much for them to handle. Her previous daycare Hope Montessori Academy couldn't believe how fast we were given up on. I should have kept her at that previous school. They were absolutely amazing with my daughter so thats how i know for a fact that Vero Beach Preschool did not care to try AT ALL.
