The ministry engages the students in a wide variety of activities that young men enjoy- scuba diving, youth conferences, flag football, basketball, youth group, volunteering, leadership opportunities, and much much more. I looked over the different surf instructors in the area and liked what I heard when I spoke to Jay on the phone. I booked my daughter a lesson for the Thursday after Christmas. Due to a GPS error we went the wrong way, oops! I called Jay and explained the situation. He got us back on track and was able to work with us due to no scheduled lesson he was able to accommodate us being late. Jay was patient with her and taught her about the ocean and how to respond to it before taking her out in the ocean. Jay spent a lot of time coaching her and she was able to get up each and every time she attempted! If you are looking for a surf lesson try out Sunshine Surf School, I know we are glad we did!
