But then what do you expect from a pub that is 600 years old! The Bell is Molesey's oldest pub, and in the top 20 of oldest pubs in Britain. I have been going there since I was 5. (I would like to point out that the only thing I got from the bar at that age was a packet of cheese and onion crisps.) The large pub garden is still a great place to sit with a packet of crisps in the summer, although these days I wash them down with something a bit stronger than ribena. The locals still turn out in their numbers here, and there are plenty of little corners in this twisty turny old pub to stake out. One of the rooms off the bar has a TV with sports, and on the last Saturday of every month, this is the venue for Wii night, where the TV is tuned to Wii Sports, and customers take part in interactive sports games. The other entertainment to watch out for is the popular pub quiz which is every Tuesday.
