It was fully decorated with magical garden vibes. There were games where you can sit down and enjoy while others can play the piano along with drums. So much to see, I can spend hours hanging out in this store. Genuinely, this is the best store in this small town. Good friendly service was provided and would return in the future.

I went somewhere else for my mom's flowers, saw an arrangement I LOVED and it was bigger and cost $180. So yeah, I think Naive Poppy and I are parting ways.

Kat was great about helping us to pick out the outfits that would look best, and did a great job of keeping the mood light, while helping us to execute in a way that would create the best photos. As some people have mentioned, there's just the one set (it's a physical set; not a backdrop), and the space is small, though there are examples on the website of parties of up to nine people. IMO, it's best suited to groups of five or fewer. There are plenty of props, but if you have any personal items that you'd like in the photos, you're encouraged to bring them. The price (which is based on the number of people; not the number of photos) includes the digital downloads, and prints are available for a nominal charge. There are two things that everyone should do when they come to Julian: have some pie, and get an old time photo here. It's a great time, and a great memory!

Small 'Olde Time' photo studio located in the center of Julian. It comfortably fits no more than 4…read morepeople (Preferably 2 people!) plus the photographer. There is one backdrop scene. Communication for planning visit/appointment was by text. You do not have to remove your existing clothes -- the costumes go over the top and tie at the back. Preferably wear clothes with short sleeves and lower necklines so they don't show beneath the costumes. Costumes, hats, props (feather boas, guns, fans) provided, although they could all do with a refresh and be better organized. I would suggest to the photographer that they provide help and suggestions picking out costumes or posing patrons and informing people of how many 'poses' they get. It would be handy if there were hooks or hat stands in the studio in order to hang your purse/jacket/personal items. The photo session probably lasted about 20 minutes from the time we walked in. Ultimately, we were happy with the photos. It was quick, fun and a great memory! We paid the one time studio sitting fee and then paid to print the photos ourselves.
