When we started with this vet, we had 3 of the sweetest most loving dogs God ever put on earth. One passed from cancer 12/30/2020. We had her cremated and got a beautiful bag with her ashes, a paw print and lock of hair. She went in the urn with our previous 2 babies. Our sweet Duchess passed with cancer on 6/5/2021 and again we had her cremated and got a beautiful bag with her ashes, a paw print and lock of hair. I took Duchess' ashes and set her in the closet to wait for her brother so they could be put in the urn with the other babies together (they had never been apart since birth). That same month, Duchess' brother, Duke, was diagnosed with kidney failure and we were told he would not make it very long, however there is no way to predict a time frame. I took great care of Duke. I made sure he only ate the proper foods, had plenty of water using syringes up to 10 or 12 times a day to keep his kidneys flushed. We had to take him to the vet several time and each time it was over $350. Duke started to succumb to the kidney disease and on 1/13/2023 we made the decision to peacefully end his life. The doctor administers the drug and within seconds, he sweet little heart stopped, and he was at peace. My heart was shattered into infinite pieces, and we were left alone to say our goodbyes. Shortly after everyone left the room, Duke's right leg went straight up in the air and then slowly came back down to gently rest on top of his other leg. Several of the assistants and Duke's groomer came to see if we were alright and asked if we were going to get another dog. We told them that at our age we had decided not to get another as saying goodbye we just too traumatic and emotionally draining. We asked, and paid, for Duke to be cremated in the same fashion as his sister. After nearly a month of continued calling and checking, we were told they had not had Duke cremated, but rather "Disposed" of his body. When I learned of this news, I collapsed to the floor in agony. It has now been 2 months and I am still unable to process what "disposed" of the body even means; I only picture him being discarded in a dumpster like ordinary trash. I was grieving his death; however, I will never have closure to the wonderful 15+ years my sweet baby gave me. I will never be able to process what they did to him. I am unable to be around dogs now. I won't go visit my friends who have dogs as it is too painful. I don't know if that will ever change, I don't know if I will ever heal or if I will ever be the same. I am unable to take Duchess and put her in her final resting place because she should have her brother with her. Once these people found out we were not going to get another dog, and that we would not be spending any more money with them, they simply discarded us as human beings with feelings and then simply "disposed" of my sweet precious Duke as though he was a piece of trash. If your pet is a loved family member, find a better place for their care.

They get two stars because when they spayed our older cat they did an excellent job and administered pain meds which a lot of vets do not do. They did a biopsy on a growth on another cat of ours and never called with the results. I am switching vet offices after today, I find it super unprofessional that they can't treat the people on the phone the way they do their patients in the office.

However, AMC2 was within nice walking distance, so I decided to take a chance. SO happy I did! The office is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. There were a couple of cats wandering about, who were clearly accustomed to seeing incoming dogs and ignoring or avoiding them. One did peer over the counter at my dog who was delighted. About the dog: Aubrey's a pitbull. Which isn't always warmly received, even at vet offices. Yet every single member of the staff she met was positive and cheerful with her. She's a social butterfly, so it's wonderful when people love her back! Dr. Trotter and the tech were very gentle with her exam, blood draw, and ear-cleaning. They made it a GREAT experience for Aubrey. It was just as good an experience for me. We'll be moving shortly (military orders), and the receptionist really went the extra mile to take care of us. She helped consolidate our shots/test schedule, and printed out a complete record of the visit for the vet in our new location. We were also given information for ordering supplies from AMC online if needed. And lastly, we were invited to bring Aubrey by at any time to weigh her (she'd lost weight in the shelter). We boarded him for a week and got a call from Dr. Savannah Mashburn on Friday saying not to worry but he has a quarter size red area on his head where it looks like he rubbed it on the crate. She said it couldn't be a hot spot because that's caused by licking and he cannot lick the top of his head. She said she would shave the area to examine it better, apply Silvadene and E collar. I agreed to the treatment. I didn't have a good feeling so after driving 8 hrs on Sunday, I decided to pick him up instead of Tuesday. Got there and he was lethargic, had not been shaved and top of his head was hard and matted with white cream on his snout. An E collar was on and under his neck was wet, red and swollen. They had prescribed antibiotics and I asked to speak with Dr. Mashburn because it looked like he had been bitten. She said the tech didn't mention that and she would look at the video footage. I immediately took him to another clinic who treated him appropriately. Stay away from this clinic if you care about your animals!

We were forced to transition to East Montgomery due to new work schedules and their opening hours. Our dog has begun showing all kinds of behavioral issues since going to East Montgomery that he never showed at the other vet. He is terrified to be dropped off and protests, desperately acting out so that we will not leave him. Compare this to his last daycare where he LOVED going and was very happy and polite being dropped off. We are removing our dog from daycare here. They have a very small "yard" and I have a hunch the dogs are not actually getting much play/socialization time. Unacceptable, especially for the higher price they charge. If you love your dog, this isn't the daycare for them. No comment on the veterinarian side. Have not really used them.

I sent multiple follow-up emails regarding the missing results and requested a refund, but all my communications were completely ignored. Thankfully, my cat recovered on her own, making the delayed results useless. Failing to deliver test results while ignoring a client's repeated inquiries is completely unprofessional. I ended up having to dispute the charge through my credit card. I do not recommend this clinic if you expect basic communication and reliable service.

Because they weren't sure if my dog had something contagious they examined Max at my car, which I thought was awesome. Dr. Kallam and her assistant (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) were so very kind, caring, and thorough. They were very gentle and sweet with my fur baby and that meant a lot to me.
