On March 19, 2022 they contacted me and agreed they were defective and they sent me another pair which arrived after March 19th 2022. Now less than a year later I wrote them that the replacement pair has the same issues - cracked rubber on the uppers, cracked all the way through and no longer water proof. Today March 11, 2023 they told me the boots have a one year warranty. I am within the one year warranty but they do not want to honor the warranty saying the warranty started on my original purchase. I feel the warranty should start when the replacements arrived for the defective original pair. They were very sarcastic and belittling in their correspondence with me. The boots are Frog Toggs and junk. The Godfrey's True Value Hardware store is junk too. Beware as they do not stand by what they sell or the warranties they claim to give. Steve

We love our crawfish, so we wanted to sample some of these fresh water kind. Ours were smaller than the louisiana variety but a lot easier to get the meat out of their pinchers which are larger than the coastal ones. Less fat than the ocean variety, but plus side you don't have to purge them they are fresh and clean and the taste of their meat is so sweet. Price of them were very, very reasonable. Very friendly and helpful we went to look and then wanted to buy but did not bring our cooler so they offered a big air bag to put them in till we got home, we left with a large 5lbs. Came home and three hours later, we were happy people. I understand they can get larger, but the size we got might take you little longer to get the meat out but so worth it. Now we can have crawfish anytime we want from June til November is what I think it is. I can't wait till our next order, I would also like to try some bigger ones if we get a chance. I will still get some from the coast but the season is not very long so we have the best of both worlds. Take Note: I think the fresh water northern crawfish are a little smarter than their southern ocean cousins, we usually keep the crawfish in a cooler on ice and they get sluggish and hardly move, well these little suckers were on ice and in a cooler and made a crawfish ladder and kept knocking the lid of the ice chest open, lost a couple survivors. So we are going to have to think of something different if we are keeping them overnight at any point....Thank you Northern Bait

I picked up my dogs on last grooming and groomer said she nicked mole on face and a nick on leg. She pointed to leg and I didn't really see anything but when I got home I was shocked my dog did not have a "nick" but a huge gaping gash. I contacted owner which she immediately sent a statement saying they are not liable for any accidents or injuries. She said I signed for that. I have not signed any paper only receipts when I pay. The right thing to do was to let me know how serious the gash was and not say it was a nick. The reason why I more than likely did not see much of anything was when the owner called today she said they glued it shut and it must have popped open. You heard me.... they glued my pet shut. She was rude and really didn't care about her customer or my pet. My son started to record her on iPad because she was extremely unprofessional and rude. I could barely get a word in unless I talked over her because she was yelling at me. I told her she was not a nice person. Immediately after I hung up she called me again but I rejected and it went to voicemail. Her voicemail: "Just to let you know Miss Cxxxxc that it is against the law to record somebody's conversation without giving them heads up before the conversation starts so if you post this I will get a lawyer and I will sue you for slander plus I did not say anything incorrect I was nice up until you started slamming on me about my business so um that's the end of my conversation until my lawyer speaks to you goodbye..." I guess she thinks "slamming on her about her business " is when I said that was not right what they did. My dog should have had immediate vet attention and they should have done the right thing. You need to make your own choice on where to go. I will NEVER shop there again or have my pets groomed there. The groomer made a mistake. They should have paid vet bill and the owner should not treat a customer like she did. So they lost my business.

I wasn't able to get a hold of my local vets office, and grand rapids vet got him in very quickly! Despite the wounds being several days old, they were able to clean and stitch the wounds and his ear looks great! They also offered same day neutering for him since he was already being sedated, which I gladly accepted!! They were so kind and thoroughly explained everything. Kept in contact with me throughout the day to keep me up to date on his progress! I now have a new regular vet clinic!! The staff were all wonderful!

My dog was having some kind of toxic neurological reaction to the anti-tick oil that I put on his…read moreback while I was on vacation in the local area.  This vet wouldn't schedule any appointment unless I were willing to pay an "urgent care" premium of $170 in addition to the exam fee and any medicine.  And the "urgent care" appointment was 2 weeks out. I called my vet in the twin cities (Broadway Robbinsdale Animal Hospital, which I cannot recommend highly enough) and they encouraged me not to wait two weeks for an urgent situation and to get him looked at as quickly as possible and if I were willing to drive to the cities they would schedule an immediate appointment. Broadway also recommended BluePearl Pet Hospital in Duluth, a walk-in after-hours emergency vet, should his condition deteriorate overnight.   I'm not big on opportunistic price gouging. If they treat humans this way, how will they treat your pet?
