Been passing by this place for years on my way to mammoth. Finally decided to stop by. Lots of great stuff. Would have purchased so many great items but was turned off by the lady at the counter. Long black hair, glasses, and chubby. Not sure if she's the owner. Was not friendly and seemed annoyed at our questions. Funny though as soon as other people walked in she was charming and super friendly. Maybe she didn't like our look? Who knows. Life is too short to go back there again though LOL read more

This place is packed full of a bunch of stuff. They also had a large selection of cowboy boots new and old. Was surprised by the selection of clothing along with the usual glassware and antiques. They have metal stuff outside in front and a separate building full of really nice antique and refinished antique furniture. Come check em out. read more

This place was next to the RV park where some of my relatives were staying, and one day while we were visiting them, we wandered over to look around since my mom loves antiques. There were some really cool things there. I love stuff from the "Old West" and was pretty impressed to see an ancient Winchester rifle and a Colt pistol. There were also a ton of old belt buckles, a pair of spurs, some old holsters, and a saddle. There was also a Dick and Jane book my mom said was worth a lot. It seemed like they had some pretty worthwhile stuff in there. They also had some pretty good records, but they were priced appropriately, which means I couldn't afford them. I ended up getting a pair of cowboy boots that were clearly not antiques (they weren't even real leather) for about $15, just because I've been wanting some boots. Despite the cool stuff in the shop, the dude who worked there seemed weirdly argumentative/confrontational. Maybe I'm misinterpreting his personality or motives, but I was not a fan. Still, if you want some moderately cool relics from a moderately historic area and you happen to be driving by, it's worth a stop in. read more

The store itself has many cool little things and is fun to explore if you are visiting the area. Unfortunately, the owner of the store is probably one of the most rude people I have ever met in my life. I went to to look for a gift for my partner who had his father pass recently (as I told the owner who was working at the counter), and she grudgingly helped briefly, but started to get snippy when I asked a few quick questions about what some items were made of. After another few minutes of her acting like I was completing imposing on her, I told her thank you for her help but I would continue to look alone. I asked if I could place a few things on the counter while I shopped because the woman seemed uncomfortable with me carrying things around the store with me and kept giving me rude glances for no reason. I had no bag or other item to place the items in/steal, or long sleeves, so this behavior seemed to be just something personal with this woman but I just brushed it off as her being careful. I went to check out as they were closing but requested to not buy a few of the items that were on the counter (mostly old photos with stickers, two items with dangling tags) and the owner proceeded to slap the counter in anger and say "this is a mess!" and glare at me. I kindly said I was sorry and even offered to put the photos back myself if that would help. She pointed at the clock (it was 1 minute past the closing time) and yelled that they were now closed but she had to now replace the tags. I almost just walked out at this point because I had been nothing but kind, had not raised my voice, or been mean in any way, and had waited to check out because she was talking with a friend that walked in but bought nothing five minutes before they closed. I ended up only buying one thing and will NEVER go back again. This owner is a vulture who doesn't care about her customers or her employees (I heard her yelling at an employee because they made the price tags too long - wtf). Don't waste your money on supporting her or the things she sells in this store. read more

I found this place on my way back from my vacation in Lake Tahoe January of 2006. Me and Rob E. had been driving amidst a snow storm for quite a bit of our journey. Finally, when things calmed down a little we saw this place and decided to give it a go. So we didn't wait too long before Gary came and opened the shoppe up for us... he told us that him and his wife didn't usually get many costumers on a snowy day such as that one. The store was filled with tons of incense, stones, jewelry, and other little nic-nacs.
