I asked if I could just sit and wait for him to return while I just observed, listened and learned. They said I was welcome and offered to seat me at his stool. They asked if I was thirsty and brought me some water. Apparently Duane got his lunch takeout and was eating it in the back. They told him that someone was waiting for him and he came out to see me even before he finished his lunch. It was like seeing a longtime friend and we had the best conversation. Finally I told him to go back and finish his lunch.

They have plenty of herbs, vitamins, and supplements (including sea moss in nearly all forms) as well as some cool metaphysical items like crystals, tarot and oracle cards, and candles galore. The parking lot is small but I've always been able to find a spot (including Saturday and Sunday afternoons). I would 10000% recommend this store to anyone looking for natural remedies.

Not "good for a farm market"... just flat-out amazing. The kind of pie you immediately start thinking about on the drive home. Their produce selection is equally impressive. We're talking everything from purple carrots to vegetables I didn't even know I needed in my life until I saw them. On top of that: homemade candies, jars of jam with flavor combinations I never would have imagined, and yes -- chow chow. If you've never had chow chow, do yourself a favor and try it. Game changer. But what truly makes this place special is the people. The ladies at the register were older, sweet, hilarious, and full of personality. One of them even flirted with me -- I had to tell her, "You can't handle this ride, grandma!" The entire exchange had me laughing the rest of the visit. In the back, a group of women were playing mahjong, just enjoying life, laughing, and clearly at home in the space. That energy carried throughout the whole market. It's the kind of place that feels lived in, loved, and genuinely warm. Even the guy outside in the parking lot collecting carts, casually smoking a cigarette, was one of the chillest people I've met. Everyone there just seemed... happy. Comfortable. Real. This place put a real smile on my face. Not because it's flashy or fancy -- but because it's authentic. Good food, good people, good energy. I already can't wait to go back. If you're in Ellijay and you don't stop here, you're doing the trip wrong.

Spouse got the Warrior Wrap, a wheat tortilla housing a cacophany of flavors that marry so well together - lime cilantro quinoa, black beans, roasted sweet potato, jalepenos (yes this wrap has a kick!), mixed greens, and a house made avocado sauce. Forgive my picture of the two on a paper plate (the veggie crisps came with the wrap). Not pictured but equally delish were my "Almond Joyous" smoothie, and "Energy" smoothies. By no means inexpensive but smoothies of this caliber (with such quality base ingredients) rarely are - you get what you pay for. These are worth the price of admission imho. They also have a plethora of juices, more smoothie choices, specials (on the board outside), acai bowls, salads, and some other toasts and wraps. Looks like they have a sister location in nearby Ellijay as well. Their mantra is food is medicine, and there is so much to that philosophy. Highly recommended.
