The proprietor kept me laughing and kept a light vibe the whole time I was in there. If you don't see something you are looking for, (breakfast radishes were what I wanted), ask--they will have it in the next day or so. They have a garden, so almost anything could show up. Bread comes to mind, and an occasional whoopie pie too. Go there--you'll find what you didn't know you needed, and it will be exactly what you want.

So, I applaud the fact that the creators receive the compensation and presentation that they deserve. My problem was that the service I received was not at all what I would have expected. I was prepared to invest significant money in a one-of-a-kind signature piece and asked to see several hand chosen items and have pictures taken of them and sent to me so that I could make an informed decision. The owner said he would send me the pictures soon. Granted, he was very busy and overwhelmed by preparing for an event. However, he should have asked one of his assistants to follow up and get the pictures to me in a more timely manner instead of micro-managing every single interaction in the shop. When I reached out in a few hours to find out when I would receive the pictures, he was very testy over the phone. He was very stressed by his own schedule and workload but that is no excuse for rudeness. When I did to back to make a purchase, he was again, dismissive, irritable and gave me no attention when I forked over $3000.00 for a necklace. But he was ingratiating with other customers who came in as couples or families. So, I felt completely slighted by his treatment. He didn't even bother to give me a card or statement about the artist that I would have needed for my insurance. In short, it is a fabulous shop filled with high end, one-of-a-kind pieces but the owner seems to reserve his hospitality and attention for customers that he views as of high status. I am a professional woman of means but was treated like a bum off the street. I am very disappointed by what should have been a lovely experience.
