This is a nice size store with reasonably priced jewelry, art, photos, crafts and knick knacks. I came away with a cute pair of earrings and a photo taken by a local artist as well as some small chimes to give as gifts. It sits in the furthest back part of the Monteray Plaza, so the shop could be hard to spot unless you were looking for it. This is definitely worth a stop if you want to browse for something other than the typical touristy destinations. Friendly service too!

They had a lot of different tools and techniques that I hadn't seen before. I also really appreciated that they encouraged us to take the bottles of paint needed to our table. A previous place I had gone to, filled our palettes for us and told us to ask for more if needed which was very frequent and difficult when it was busy. There are a lot of pieces to choose from, from figurines to dishware to ornaments. There are also plenty of colors to choose from. For first-timers, I wish there were more instructions given on adding layers of paint to make sure the color comes through. We were given that instruction as a heads up when we finished. Luckily, we did enough layers. After painting, the wait is usually a few days before they give you a call that your piece is ready for pick up. This was a great find in downtown Williamsburg. We went there because they were open a little later…read morethan most specialty shops (7 PM) and they featured some very interesting and artistic decorative pottery and ceramic pieces. However, what really stole the show were the treats. The Turkish Coffee was superb. It was authentically made via the sand method. I got the Ottoman which had milk added with touches of cinnamon and cardamom. It was a wonderfully flavorful concoction. We also got Turkish Delight and Baklava to take away. The Delight lived up to its name, especially the chocolate brownie variety. It was an exceedingly delicious treat. The baklava were also terrific as they were loaded with honey. To top things off, the proprietor was one of the nicest and most engaging people you'd ever want to meet. He is originally from Istanbul. I enjoyed my conversation with him since that is a city which I highlight amongst the ones I have been privileged to visit. It was a lovely visit to this delightful shop and we hope to return in the future when the chance arises.

She also mentioned everything is handmade, mostly by her, or by other local artists. She had some really cute items inside and some great things as gifts for family or friends if you have an upcoming birthday or special event to celebrate. One of the many shops on Main Street where you can find something to love or for someone else to love. Most of the items in here were not my style (more simplistic) and the shop is smaller than some of the others but it's worth a gander if you're walking around and nearby.
