Vigil N Sons was one of the few contractors that didn't turn their nose up at my small job - many of those I reached out to for quote either ignored me or came back with "we aren't doing any work with an estimate less than $20,000". Aaron was extremely easy to work with, and I'm a very picky individual. He went out of his way to make sure I got the cabinets, flooring, and colors all exactly as I wanted. He was happy to provide suggestions for what could be installed but was also equally happy to use the materials I specified within the provided budget. He originally quoted 3-4 days to complete the work once it started, and even with inclement weather getting in the way, he still got the work completed in 3.5 days. I've waited a month after the work was completed to write and post this review, and I have to say the level of quality started out high and has remained that way. Everything has remained solid, the flooring hasn't developed any creaks, and everything is still securely assembled. I will certainly quote any future work with them first and foremost, and highly encourage anyone else to do the same!

Despite claims on his website, he never filed the required permit for the plumbing work and used unlicensed plumbers on my home. When I asked for subcontractor names, license numbers, or proof of insurance, he delayed providing any documentation. I finally got the COI. FUNNY the policy start date was the date after I asked for it. I paid a $12,500 deposit. Work done: Demolition/prep, unpermitted/unlicensed plumbing (which I had to fix), unfinished cabinets, and cans of paint (nothing painted). Certainly not $12500 worth of work. Deadlines were pushed from the promised 2 weeks to a month, bait and switch. The lack of permits, the use of unlicensed trades, the refusal to disclose subcontractor or insurance details, and his increased hostility forced me to terminate him. I tried arbitration via BBB and he has refused to respond. He took off with my large deposit and left me with a torn‑apart kitchen. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this contractor. I should have paid more attention to the red flags. After asking for a general quote via BBB, he unexpectedly showed up at my house, UNINVITED. Predatory behavior, Red Flag 1. Conversation got too personal, not professional on his part, Red Flag 2. Spoke poorly of and to his wife, Red Flag 3.
