Pickle needed to be neutered and they refer animals to the Redlam practice. The staff are very friendly and seem to make a fuss of your pet, which is always nice to see, it gives you the sense of feeling that your pet is in the best possible care. Along with the neutering, we also got him micro-chipped and got them to trim his very sharp and deadly claws. He was all done and set to go within five hours, when we returned, the nurse took us in to a room and explained what they had done and how to care for him, then they brought Pickle in and we were off. The staff are great, they are friendly and understanding, nothing is too much trouble for them and they don't mind you ringing to see how your pet is. I think they threw the claw-trimming in for free, as the bill came to less than we thought. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone, if you take your pet to a vet where you're not 100% happy, then give these people a try.

I think this vets is great and they are more than helpful in getting your pet the right treatment. Obviously vets can be expensive and you have to be aware of this but you have to look after your love ones. I think that this place is friendly and their vet surgeons are great and also explain what they are doing. Also this is a great practice to have as it is large and people with horses and farms etc can rely on this place as there are plenty of staff.

They are available 24 hours a day, but also have weekend appointments at their usual weekday price at their new site on councillor lane, Cheadle. We frequently visit for the smaller day to day problems such as infections etc. And they always provide the best care for the animal with check ups if necessary. They also offer free appointments for things such as tick removal etc. On a few occasions we have had to deal with more serious problems, on a couple of occasions we had to have our pets put down. Woodcroft always handle this situation well and are always looking out for the best interests of the animal. Another of our cats was run over two years ago and survived although his leg was shattered. The care we received for him was brilliant and he is now back to normal climbing trees and running around with the other cats, which at the time we thought would never happen! The staff at woodcroft are great, very friendly and full of advice. Their facilities are brilliant and their prices are low for the service you get. No other vet compares!

My cat has a heart condition and was referred to their cardiologist Jane who is absolutely wonderful with Rio and so caring. More recently he has needed to be referred to the internal medicine vet Donald who was also very caring and explained things to me very well. My cat doesn't like the vets at the best of times and it was so reassuring to know that I didn't have to travel to an unknown vets with him as Woodcroft had their own referral vets. If you are registered with Holme Veterinary Centre they send you reminders of when your pet is due for vaccinations and worming etc.

Andy and his colleague are superb vets and offer many different types of treatment, aside from standard medicines. I rang up for some information about booking in my now almost not a kitten to be spayed. Yes, unfortunate I know. This being my first kitten (and definitely not my last) my knowledge on this area was a little vague and I wanted to know more. I have plenty of friends and family who had explained it but I wanted it from the horse's mouth (pun definitely intended!). So! The friendly nurse receptionist listened to my request for more information carefully and gave a very thorough response. She told me everything I needed to know and told me it would be best to bring in the kitten for a check up (free) to see if she was old enough and ready for the operation. I brought Eli along to the surgery and she was very well behaved around the 3 huge dogs who just wanted to play! When were called in to see the vet, she was very friendly, lovely attitude and ever so careful with Eli. She gave her a thorough check and made sure to give me details about the best time to book her in. I booked Eli in for the operation and they gave me a leaflet of information to explain everything that would happen. I left feeling very happy with my experience and confident about the procedure. Eli seemed very happy too :)
