Mozzarella sticks and chorizo tacos. Extra ranch and chile mayo....there was 3 tacos but..I couldn't wait. So good!!! Highly recommend.

Great food and awesome bar. I love ordering anything that goes with their Chile mayo sauce. Especially their garlic fries! I had a party here and they allowed us to rent the entire back dining area including the patio. The food was delicious and everything was very affordable. The area is perfect for large groups and it's kid friendly.

Seldomly can I afford to treat my family, BC I'm poor. We're waiting 45 minutes for unseasonably bland steaks, with mashed potatoes laced w skin. The service is poor, by a woman who claims not to speak Spanish, proudly. As the waitress, server, host, I can understand why we get incomplete orders. Don't eat here.

    Best burger ever Sunrise burger!

Last night I took my family out to dinner and was blown away by the quality of service. My waitress was enthusiastic and handled our order well. I enjoyed the sunrise burger, I don't know what I was expecting but the burger exceeded that. My daughters ate the lemon pepper salmon and the asada tacos, neither were disappointed and there were no leftovers to be found. My compliments to the chef and the staff. I was happy to be able to eat with my daughters and enjoy their company without worrying if they liked the food or if it would take a long time to come out. Definitely recommend this place.

I'm not the gambling type, although if you're into card games -- they have plenty here -- and poker tournaments that can be very competitive. They even offer a free buffet to the players...I think. Anyway, I've been here on occasion for a drink -- it's one of the only 2 watering holes I trust here in good ole Delano -- but I've never really sat down for food at their restaurant. I was really excited to try their food as the pictures and the reviews really make this place on par with some of the more trendy restaurants in terms of food (although, we need to ground this review of the food with the fact that the establishment resides in Delano, not necessarily the land of trendy gastropubs)...but I thought, hey, it's a worthy shot by a Delano establishment -- I'll give it a try. The food was really just meh. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. It's definitely better than Perkos, but not by a giant leap. They have items on the menu that you wouldn't find at Perkos down the street and are right off the menu of a Cheesecake Factory. Take for example the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Making your mouth water? It sure did for me when I thought of ordering it. When it arrived it was literally just sauteed chicken and romaine lettuce leaves that were pulled off the head of lettuce -- oh and a little bit of that Filipino spicy sweet and sour sauce. None of the other accouterments that come with this dish were to be found -- no julienned carrots, shredded red cabbage, peanut sauce. It was disappointing. And at $7.50, definitely not worth it. I ordered the Ruben thinking it would be the pastrami version that was made popular in Los Angeles by places like Langer's or Brent's Deli -- I mean, how can you mess up pastrami? They didn't mess it up here. In fact, they didn't have pastrami. It was a kind of corned beef/cold cut version. Not super great. We all ordered side salads -- this they did well. They have delicious dressings -- especially the balsamic dressing. Also, their garlic fries are pretty good too. They also offer a $26+ dollar Filet Mignon. We all kind of laughed when we saw it. Well, I'm very skeptical. Although I'd like to order it to see if it's really worth that much. As far as this place is concerned, I'll probably come by for more drinks -- they have 805 Blonde Ale at this place in a 20oz for $3!!! That's amazing. Food was definitely not worth the price. Service is a-ok, though.

    Fish and chips (garlic fries)

I haven't eaten here in a while. I was here to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a surprise birthday dinner. I ordered the fish and chips. I substituted my French fries for garlic fries. This time, they were not skimping on the fish. I had three filets and they were huge. I was expecting the usual two skinny filets but I guess they were feeling quite generous. The garlic fries are awesome like always. You can never go wrong with garlic fries. I arrived here during happy hour and I didn't choose an item off the happy hour menu. I definitely suggest coming here during happy hour. It was pretty dead today because it's a weeknight.

Fyi, I'm not a pro. I'm just a normal guy who loves to eat. I started yelping so I could help others find delicious places to eat. I'm not really the type of guy to hit casinos and/or bars so I will stick to what I know when it comes to this review. That means I'm sticking to how I feel about the food. I ordered a double cheeseburger (I think it was two 8oz patties) and I added avocado, bacon, and an over easy egg. At first I thought the runny egg would be too messy, but it wasn't bad at all. The meat was so hot and cooked perfectly. It was quality meat too, not too fatty. The bacon was delicious and gave the burger a nice crisp. I loved the cheese. I'm not sure how many slices it had, but it dripped on the side and I had a delicious time picking it off my plate and licking it off my fingers. The avocado needed about one more day to be fully ripe, but it wasn't a problem. The fries were a little too salty. The ketchup saved it though. This burger was definitely restaurant quality, but not for the price. I ended up paying about $22 for it. I guess that's somewhat reasonable for a pound of meat, but I don't feel like it was worth $22. There are times where I'll get a drive in burger for $16, and I'll feel it's worth it! This just didn't feel worth it. I can't really put my finger on it. Regardless, it was delicious. To touch on the atmosphere it's a Friday night and there are quite a bit of people here. I'm guessing this is the spot for the Delano night life crowd. There is a bald black guy telling some semi-funny jokes, the lighting is dim in the bar area, and everyone is socializing. There are also a number of tvs to keep you entertained with some pro sports. (Lakers are playing!) I don't gamble so I can't really give you any tips about the tables. I give the burger about 3 to 4 stars. The atmosphere is not bad and customer service is average. Therefore, 4 stars.

I went to the Aviator Casino for dinner since there weren't many options in Delano and we didn't want to go too far from our hotel. The service was pretty good and the food was okay. I got the Korean tacos with jalapeños which were tasty but did give me some heartburn. Their credit card machine wasn't working so that was a little bit of an inconvenience.

The rooms themselves were great, my issue was with the bar. I'm supposed to be here for a few weeks for work but I will be going to the Marriott from here on while I'm in the area. My wife joined me this week for the travel, we decided to check the bar and restaurant out since we were both wanting to try it out. Our first order was their chocolate old fashion (regular od fashion with only chocolate bitters) and know creek. Bartender informed me they didn't have know creek and I made it 2 of the chocolate old fashions. When we got the drinks, it was basically makers mark with a splash of chocolate bitters over ice. I'm a bourbon fan and she made both those "old fashion drinks" in under a minute and they tasted like whiskey on the rocks. Wife hated it and I took her drink. I then ordered for her Titos and cranberry. Bartender said they were out of titos and she settled for Grey goose and cranberry. It was measured properly and very red, so can't complain but come on, you're going to charge us for Grey goose since you're out of titos but can't give it an extra splash? We looked at the menu and ordered the chicken Ceasars with NO chicken (there's a reason I'm making it clear that I said "no chicken") for the wife since shes vegetarian and I ordered their sampler platter. Bartender informed me that their fryer was broken and said I can order burgers and sandwiches, so I settled for chicken and bacon sandwich. A few minutes go by and the Bartender then said that they were out of lettuce and only had arugula salad. My wife then asked for the tomato soup since shes vegetarian and we were then told that the soup is no longer available and that it hasn't been removed from menus. So my wife settles for the arugula salad without chicken and a side cheese pizza. After bringing our food out, it was served in to go plates. I had chips for my side since the fries couldn't be made do to the fryer not working and my wife git her pizza and her chicken Ceasar arugula only salad....with chicken in it. So luckily she could pick the chicken out and we tried topnotch let it ruin our night. While eating, the Bartender was talking with a coworker who was off work and they were talking about how they hate customers who do this and who do that, very unprofessional since we weren't the only ones at the bar that night. During this time I asked for 2 waters and she brought out the 2 waters but didn't take my first empty old fashion glass or my wife's empty cranberry and vodka glass. She didn't even ask if we wanted another one. So we get the bill, $77.94 for the microwaved food, wrong order, bad drinks, etc. Terrible and has now made me cancel my booking for the remaining 2 weeks I'm here.

I was on a road trip with my…read morewonderful mama and she saw a billboard advertising the return of the McRib and she literally started hollering to stop at the next McDonald's we saw on the road. I started laughing because I thought she was joking, but then I decided to call her bluff and this location was at the very next exit. Turns out she wasn't joking. Go ahead and check off the first box of insanity right there. Apparently she has loved these nasty pork-ish, rib-shaped glops of mystery "meat" and "other ingredients" for decades and, since she lives in a very small rural Southern town back East, she informed me that only certain states were "lucky enough to be getting the McRib back" (her words exactly). We were in California and inexplicably, it is one of those "lucky states" (her words again, not mine) so we stopped to get her a pork patty fix. I'm writing this 5 star review for a major franchise fast food joint because the employees and manager and cleaning staff and cooks here deserve it. The place was spotlessly clean with several bussers constantly wiping down tables and booths. This place was sparkling from the soda dispenser to the floors. Next, the employees were genuinely helpful (showing us how to use the fancy new self-ordering machines) and eager to welcome us in for lunch. There was a big crowd inside, but the lines moved quickly because everyone was well trained and efficient. If you place your own order at the new touch screens, remember to take a number out of the side pocket and place it on your table. Someone will deliver your food to you when it's ready -- because a McRib and a super size order of fries should be a classy experience. I didn't like how the iced tea wasn't self serve, instead I had to go up to the counter and ask someone to fill it up for me. It was a minor annoyance but again the staff was SO good that as I was waiting for the employee to fill up my tea, I had THREE others ask how they could help me! And this was a roadside McDonald's! I haven't eaten at a McDonald's in years so I cannot speak about the food quality or if it was better or worse than other locations, but I had a nice salad and some chicken tenders and it tasted good and greasy. But of course it tasted good, it was salty fast food and everybody loves fast food. They gave me two giant sides of high fructose corn syrup for dipping (I refrained), but sauce lovers would appreciate that. They also are stingy with the napkins and ketchup packets here so ask for extra. I was so impressed with everything about this place that I told the manager what a great experience I had, and I think I'll send an email to the corporate office too. A great, clean, friendly and fast place to stop. And yeah, Mama tore into that McRib but when she was finished said that she never, ever needed to eat another one again in her life...like, EVER.
