I was in the City of Delano on Business, my Business partner and I wanted to get a bite to eat after our meeting we found this restaurant, we where quickly greeted and seated the customer service is very good, the restaurant is very clean and fresh, the adult drinks and tap beer is very good and fresh the Cali Squeeze was on point!!! The food is very tasty and delicious I really like that they give you a fresh tortilla with butter when you are seated instead of chips and salsa different. You will be relaxed and chilled out in this restaurant I highly recommend and suggest to check them out. I will definitely be returning!!!

Came in today after work since one of my coworker was talking about it mentioning the flour tortillas with butter as an appetizer hadn't been here in a long time since the place was sold and then it was closed down so I guess they have new owners so I'd figure I'd give them a try. The place is really nice. It's clean. It has like same set up but just a little bit different I believe they have different tables, but anyways we were greeted promptly and we were sat down really quick. It was just a table for two. So we sat down. They brought us one flower tortilla with butter and that was gone real quick so we ended up ordering the chicken taquitos or flautas which I really wasn't impressed. They looked really delicious when they brought them out, but the chicken was not shredded. It was like cut into pieces and then fried in the tortilla which I felt was weird. The flavor was bland. They offer a lot of salsa, but none of them had a kick to it like spice, but other than that, you know, they had sour cream, fresco lettuce. You know the presentation was good but the chicken inside was cut into chunks and it wasn't shredded chicken or shredded. You know that's what surprise me. Then we ordered the queso which had a sliced jalapeño and then sliced onions which was delicious. That was probably the best. I was not impressed with the chips I felt like they didn't have enough salt. They were too hard but the chorizo guess so dip was delicious. We couldn't decide on what to eat since they do offer a variety of breakfast lunch and dinner and she said it was all day so we decided on the Molcajete. It came with chicken Carne shrimp and a headlight not a piece of chorizo head like I don't know how to call it. I had chorizo on it, but it wasn't like chunks so I was too impressed because it was just different from what I've had in the past again. The salsa were not spicy, but it was good. It was really good. You know it's just the tortilla chips. I wasn't impressed with the beans that's another issue. Beans are the easiest thing that a person can make and I felt like they were canned Rosarito beans I could be wrong but I love beans what brought me there was the flour tortillas and beans and the tea was good but the beans I feel they could've done something better but other than that, I will be back you know to try it again you know sometimes they get a different cook, but I was it was good but I feel it could've been a lot better being that they're not that busy being that they're new and they just opened I definitely will give them another chance and hopefully it will be different.

So glad to stop in here staying at a hotel down the road - Chili Verde was amazing! Loved that they started with warm tortillas and butter!

My wife and I came in on a Saturday around 5:30 pm for dinner and drinks. At first, I wasn't a fan of ordering and paying at the door, but once we got settled, everything turned out great. We found a seat pretty easily since it wasn't crowded. For drinks, I had a mango margarita (refreshing and nicely presented) and my wife enjoyed a cold Modelo. We started with the asada nachos, which were delicious and big enough to share. For our main dishes, I had the Camarones a la Diabla--spicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with great rice and beans on the side. My wife had the Chiles Rellenos, and she loved them. The flavors were authentic and reminded us of home-cooked meals. The tortillas tasted homemade, hot, and just amazing. The staff really stood out--professional, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Everyone had a smile and made us feel welcomed. Overall, even with the ordering system being different than what I'm used to, the food and service more than made up for it. The dishes were authentic and full of flavor, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try!

I don't like this burrito. I ordered Asada and I have not seen any meat.

It would've been nice if there was some meat in my burrito and was given red salsa. I did not recommend this place to anyone.

Love all the food and drinks! Today we had the camarones a la diabla and camarones zarandeados.

Huevos Rancheros with rice and beans.

The food delicious as I ordered huevos rancheros. The egg was perfectly cooked. The service was great and would highly recommend. Also, they greet you with the famous handmade flour tortillas with a side butter, such a different yet delicious complimentary starter!!!

The rooms themselves were great, my issue was with the bar. I'm supposed to be here for a few weeks for work but I will be going to the Marriott from here on while I'm in the area. My wife joined me this week for the travel, we decided to check the bar and restaurant out since we were both wanting to try it out. Our first order was their chocolate old fashion (regular od fashion with only chocolate bitters) and know creek. Bartender informed me they didn't have know creek and I made it 2 of the chocolate old fashions. When we got the drinks, it was basically makers mark with a splash of chocolate bitters over ice. I'm a bourbon fan and she made both those "old fashion drinks" in under a minute and they tasted like whiskey on the rocks. Wife hated it and I took her drink. I then ordered for her Titos and cranberry. Bartender said they were out of titos and she settled for Grey goose and cranberry. It was measured properly and very red, so can't complain but come on, you're going to charge us for Grey goose since you're out of titos but can't give it an extra splash? We looked at the menu and ordered the chicken Ceasars with NO chicken (there's a reason I'm making it clear that I said "no chicken") for the wife since shes vegetarian and I ordered their sampler platter. Bartender informed me that their fryer was broken and said I can order burgers and sandwiches, so I settled for chicken and bacon sandwich. A few minutes go by and the Bartender then said that they were out of lettuce and only had arugula salad. My wife then asked for the tomato soup since shes vegetarian and we were then told that the soup is no longer available and that it hasn't been removed from menus. So my wife settles for the arugula salad without chicken and a side cheese pizza. After bringing our food out, it was served in to go plates. I had chips for my side since the fries couldn't be made do to the fryer not working and my wife git her pizza and her chicken Ceasar arugula only salad....with chicken in it. So luckily she could pick the chicken out and we tried topnotch let it ruin our night. While eating, the Bartender was talking with a coworker who was off work and they were talking about how they hate customers who do this and who do that, very unprofessional since we weren't the only ones at the bar that night. During this time I asked for 2 waters and she brought out the 2 waters but didn't take my first empty old fashion glass or my wife's empty cranberry and vodka glass. She didn't even ask if we wanted another one. So we get the bill, $77.94 for the microwaved food, wrong order, bad drinks, etc. Terrible and has now made me cancel my booking for the remaining 2 weeks I'm here.

Last year I made a large reservation for about 10 ladies to celebrate someone and on the way to the restaurant they called to confirm the reservation (about 30 minutes before), but I did not hear my phone. When I arrived, a distraught friend told me that they did not have our reservation so I asked what the issue was. The manager told me because I did not confirm, they were not sure they were going to hold the table. I apologized that I had not recieved a call, but asked if we could still have the table (I was there on time and could see the large table with the reservation note on it). The manager begrungenly said they would allow us to still dine with them, but they said they would not seat us until more of our party arrived. I asked if we could wait for our party at the bar, but they said they would not because every seat at the bar was taken. So just a heads up, you cannot stand at the bar, you cannot stand around the restaurant, and they do not have a place to sit and wait for your table, you just have to stand outside (I'm sure it has to do with safety or firecodes, I didn't argue, we waited outside until people at the bar left). Once we were seated, the staff was not friendly. Wondering if we should leave or not, I called a friend who works near the building who frequents this place often on what I should do. He told me to go back inside and that the staff would be nice. When I returned, a new server came to our table with a tray of shots and said they would be taking care of us for the rest of the evening. I figured maybe the manager and that other server was just having a bad day, my friend must have called the restaurant and asked his most trusted server to help us, and enjoyed the rest of our evening. I didn't want to risk it another bad experience, so I haven't returned since. A few months ago during the whole Cesar Chavez news broke out, that friend who frequented the place went with another friend to the Botonist and was talking about the news while they were dining. The manager overheard. Later when my friends were getting ready to leave, the manager started becoming upset with my friends and told my guy friend, "I HOPE SOMEBODY R*PES YOU". Stunned, he asked her to repeat herself and she did. My friends left. The chefs and building are wonderful, but obviously something needs to be done about the management and staff with being professional and treating customers with respect. I've worked in the service industry and understand how stressful it can be, but I have always been able to keep my cool around people who are trying to enjoy a nice meal. Hoping they recieve the help they need as I love to see my community thrive.

They literally left no stone unturned. Every single corner of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I do love the whole vault theme. It definitely just feels like you're stepping back in time. The food was fantastic. On a Friday and Saturday night, they offer a prime rib special. The plate itself ran about $52. But it was well worth it. The prime rib absolutely melted in your mouth. Flavor was spot on. And I would definitely recommend it if you're just wanting to try something a little bit different. Our meal also came with a soup or salad.
