We enjoyed another delicious meal at Guillermo's steakhouse. We celebrated my husband's birthday with family for lunch. There was a total of 12 in our party. Our server never missed a beat. She was friendly and attentive. Everyone in our group commented on how good the food was and enjoyed their meals. My New York steak salad was fresh, seasoned to perfection, and absolutely delicious. Husband said the same about his Guillermo burger. I'm skeptical at a few of the negative reviews. Looking at their profiles it appears that they only have a couple of Yelp reviews. Makes me wonder if they are coming from local restaurants fearing the competition, or a disgruntled former employee. Either way I recommend that you try it for yourself. It's a great place for a delicious steak, burger, or the weekend Basque set-up. We've never had a bad experience here. read more

I don't usually hand out 5-star reviews because something always manages to ruin the experience -- but this place seriously surprised me. My sister and I came in from out of town. I looked on Yelp for dinner and found this spot. There was a lot of parking, and when we walked in it was so calm and welcoming. we almost thought it was closed -- but nope, plenty of seating and a great vibe. The ambience was perfect: soft lighting, candles glowing, the music was perfect. They played a mix of various genres and even tossed a few Christian songs in there too. (Sounds like my own playlist) Our waiter was incredibly patient, friendly, and respectful while we figured out what to order. I got the tri-tip plate and my sister ordered fried chicken, and we shared. When I bit into that chicken... I was shocked. I'm from the Bay Area and I'm mixed -- half Black, half white -- and I know good fried chicken. I had to ask the waiter who the chef was! I joked that it tasted so good I thought a Black person made it, and we all had a good laugh. This restaurant is a 10/10: family-oriented, warm, respectful, and the kind of place that makes you feel at home. The first few times I went there yes service was slow but I would say it's because they were working out their kinks. I'm glad Delano has a restaurant brings a little bit of a different variety. Anything I've tried there has been delicious I would say the customer service has improved greatly since first opening. Sometimes it does take a little while for food to come out but I would like to think it's because the owner is making sure everything is made to his standard. I have yet to try the Basque dinner but would like to try that soon as well. read more

I ordered the New York strip with a side of grilled mushrooms and a salad, plus grilled jalapeños -- and every single item was on point. The steak was cooked perfectly, the garlic mushrooms had a great char on them, and the jalapeños added just the right kick to round out the meal. I was really disappointed with my visit. My shrimp scampi was bland, and the steak had no flavor at all. The servers never checked on us--not once--to see how our food was or if we needed anything, like sauce for the steak. They just stood around without paying attention to the tables. We celebrated our daughter15" birthday here we were about 83people and we were very happy with their service from start to finish Guillermo and his wife were a pleasure to work with , my guests and us loved the food. This place is great for little or big gatherings to my surprise when we arrived they had the two tvs on with a beautiful background setting matching the theme of our party , which I appreciated so much Now I just wish I had another occasion soon so we can go back and celebrate there again , they also have basque every Friday which I also recommend it's delicious. All I can say is wow! This place is amazing! The service was good, the food was spectacular. From the top sirloin to the filet mignon the flavors just explode in your mouth. The sides also were great, the Caesar salad was full of Parmesan and delicious dressing, crispy savory fries and the green beans were just right! Even their Cheesecake with that thick crust was wonderful. My family will be dining here again soon! It is a bit pricey but standard for a good steakhouse! We went on a Friday night, that features a Basque menu. Delicious set up, lots of food- soup, beans, salad, French bread, pickled tongue, green beans, pasta. Then add an entree. Well , the soup , clam chowder , was warm , not hot, but very good other wise. The standard basque soup was piping hot and loaded with vegetables , great. Pork chops were kinda dry , steaks on small side , salad was very nice , the pickled onions and tomatoes were very good also , bread served was heated. The green beans were cold and very salty , no body ate them. Sevice slowed down after owner left the building , but the old one on HWY 46 and SR 99 was far superior in all respects , but to drive this far and get small portions for the price in not a doable thing right now , Ill just drive over to Oak st for now , but we will return probaly 2 more times th recheck the overall food aspects in the future. read more

We were halfway through the meal when we realized they forgot the eggs with the country fried steak. We asked for no onions on the omelet but they decided to add extra onions. Considering that this restaurant is a new establishment to the area, I was beyond disappointed of my first and only experience here. The food was not worth the price tag. The level of quality in taste and flavor was not there. The menu states 2 chicken breasts, but it was just 1 chicken breast cut in half. The restaurant was filthy with 10 or more dirty tables from customers that already left. The waitress at first was attentive when she took our order, but after that she went on break with out saying anything and another waitress had to take over, when we asked for refills, boxes and our check. I was there for my nieces sweet 15 dinner this last Saturday. 80 people showed up. Maritza was the one who attended us at our table, and she was the best! I felt like it was my sweet 15, getting the VIP treatment. Food was delicious! We had the steak which was done to perfection with mash potatoes to die for as well. I made reservations (5:30 pm) for dinner on Valentines Day. The experience was not good at all! The service was terrible! When we arrived they took our drink order and brought warm bread but nothing to put the bread on....no bread plates or butter.. I had to use my napkin. And there was no butter. The waiter finally came and took our order. Forty-five minutes later I had to ask the waiter if we could at least have our salads. His response, "you want them now??" YES!!! It was nearly 7pm before our food arrived! We considered leaving but decided to stay. The only reason I gave a review of "2" is because .... much to our surprise .... the steaks were EXCELLENT! Given the occasion, I assumed they would have had extra staff. While we were waiting a little old lady came around to all the tables with a basket of keychains, jam and earrings to sell!!!!!If you are marketing yourself as "fine dining" this is not the experience we had. The service was absolutely slow. They told us we would be severed by 6 our food didn't come till 7. They're slow on drink service it took 20-30 minutes for everyone to get their drinks.
