First time trying it and did really well even from the start. Some find it easy some find it a bit tough at first (like my partner) but eventually you get a hang of it pretty fast. The underhand throw was extremely difficult though. My partner got a few times at the end but I gave up. Fun to test your aim skills and strength. It the ax does seem to go in and stick to the wood (just falls right off even though it seems like it should go in) try spray water (wood might be too dry) especially with Covid the usually have the doors open. If it bounces off, that just means you might have to adjust yourself (usually step a step backwards but it depends). Would definitely come back and highly recommend!!

He had always wanted to do a sturgeon fishing charter and this was going to be the perfect gift. The ladies in the front office (Claudette, Krissy and Jenn) answered all my questions and really helped me through so many aspects of planning this trip. They were always just a call or an email away and were always speedy with their replies. Never once were they rude to me, or made me feel like I wasn't worth their time. They pretty much pampered me right from the start. I reserved a 3 night stay in the Bison Suite that included - 2 eight hour days of guided sturgeon fishing and all meals provided by the lodge. The Bison Suites need to be seen to be appreciated. We had a large room containing a super comfy king sized bed in front of a push-button fireplace, two sitting chairs around a small coffee table, a large TV with all the streaming apps, a Nespresso coffee maker, and mini fridge. And let's not forget the bathroom. To say the bathroom is well-equipped would be an understatement. The toilet does everything you never thought you needed a toilet to do, and it is a full experience. Don't be a prude! You need to experience the toilet. And the shower is majestic. The shower 'stall' is a large glass area that features a waterfall shower head on the ceiling and a handheld shower head on the wall. The floor of the shower looks like a riverbed, and there's a large window looking from the shower into the bedroom so you can see out to the deck and the beautiful scenery. The deck boasts a 2 (or maybe 3) person hot tub and it is fully private. It felt magical after a full day of fishing. The meals were straight up 5 star cuisine. Dinner was a 4 course meal, breakfast consisted of mouth watering pastries and something more substantial such as eggs benedict or quiche, and both meals were served by attentive and friendly staff in the lounge at a set time. We dined with other lodge guests and it was actually kind of cool to meet different people and get to know everyone's story. Lunch was served differently and it was so cool! It was freshly barbequed on the boat while we were fishing so we never missed any action. One day it was steak and shrimp and the other is was chicken and sausage. (I have to give a huge shout out to Chef Ian and his crew who took the time to make sure my dietary preferences were met in each meal. The food was beyond anything I thought I would receive and I'm so appreciative.) Now, on to the fishing! Our guide was Neil and he gave our trip another layer of amazingness. He is a local so he was really knowledgeable about fishing locations, where the bite was best vs. where it wasn't, how the river was looking that week, etc. He also had a pretty epic, fully loaded boat with great gear, and a cool rig to pull it. He took us out to Beach 22 for launch and found some really great areas to set up in, he brought the best bait, set up the gear, and gave us incredibly helpful direction. Once he saw my husband was comfortable with the gear, he was able to let him cast the line as well. My husband and I have been fishing since we were kids but, when you're in a new area with a local, you watch and learn and listen the best you can until you're given the 'green light' to go ahead and help. Neil treated us with respect and we did the same to him, plus, he was super fun, laid back, and really easy to get along with! My husband and I caught 27 sturgeon between the two days we were fishing with Neil, and we still can't stop smiling. It was THE best fishing experience we've ever had and it exceeded our expectations. There were also a cool crew of animal friends at the lodge. At any time there were 3-4 dogs, a cat named 'Paul', a herd of bison, a coop of chickens, and 2 resident donkeys. Personally, I love places that have animals around. I thought this was a birthday gift for my husband? It was really a gift for us both because we both loved it so much. This is not just a 'for the guys' lodge so, ladies, step up your game and take your man on a vacation! This is a luxury fishing lodge set amidst beautiful scenery with amazing accommodations, 5 star meals, top-tier fishing, and truly kind people. You will be pampered and spoiled. (Did I mention that, upon check in, one of the office ladies will walk you to your room, invite you in, and make sure everything about the room is explained? PLUS, there's a sweet complimentary treat waiting for you on the bed.)

They let us fill out the form and then they took a snapshot of the page, showing us signing since it wasn't going through to the confirmation page. After though, I got 5 confirmation emails. We played in teams and did a few different games. Let's just say that we tried some odd ways to throw the axes. Of course, we had to make sure that we were allowed to throw the axe that way, to ensure safety. It was fun but was a little hard to find the place as it is in an industrial area.

The smaller axes and throwing knives were made by Smith & Wesson - so you feel like more of a bad @ss throwing them - and they were fun to throw. They also allowed me to perfect my form for throwing the larger axes, which was my favorite instrument. The staff provided guidance for throwing since it was our first time. They were also available throughout our session for follow-up questions and guidance on throwing which was very helpful. One of the best parts is the smell. As you enter, you're immediately hit with the smell of freshly chopped wood which is awesome. The decor is also very inviting with tons of pictures of happy axe-throwing customers lining the walls. There's a separate bar upstairs with interesting games to play and canned/bottled alcoholic beverages, hopefully for after you're done throwing axes!

Reset Games is one of my go-to game stores in Bellingham. They have an amazing selection of games…read moreranging from the earliest Atari games to modern console titles. Also, they have many different consoles there, and at good prices too! Sometimes they will have rarer consoles in stock like the Atari Jaguar or the Virtual Boy. They also have great deals on consoles. The prices may seem higher than market for the consoles, but that is because if you buy a console, it comes with OEM cables and controllers included, not 3rd party junk. For example, I got a VG condition non-yellowed SNES for $90 with all the previously mentioned accessories included. The staff are happy to accept a return within 30 days of a purchase with a full refund, which is very nice if an item stops working after a few days. As for trade-ins or selling, Reset Games will not currently accept defective/broken items as they do not offer a repair service. If you want to sell broken/defective items, go to Cosmic Games, as they offer a good repair service. The only slight downside is that the game prices are sometimes a bit higher than competing stores in the area, but their massive selection of games makes up for that. In conclusion, Reset games is a great game store. I always love stopping by. It's a must-visit for gamers.

I have gone there MANY times and got faulty items. We got 3rd party n64 games that are spray…read morepainted green with dead batteries so you can't save which we brought back multiple times. Every copy was bad. Every console I have gotten from there was busted and not tested properly. Multiple PS2 slims with dying disk drives. So, I went to their sister store down south. [over a 3-hour drive] Their staff told me they tested the ps2 they had. We drove back home and within 5 min the 1st controller port was bad and making the controllers loose connection and power. (how can you miss this if it was properly tested?) Also, that ps2 couldn't read disks towards the end of the disk. We have sold them a console ourselves and watched how they test consoles. They turn it on, throw a disk in, and if the disk reads, they just shut it off. There is no performance testing done, or everything I have said above would have been caught. BEWARE OF CONSOLES YOU BUY FROM HERE. ASK TO DO YOUR OWN TESTING BEFORE HANDING THEM MONEY, AS THEY WILL NOT GIVE BACK A REFUND, ONLY STORE CREDIT! They lost a customer that goes in spending 500 to 800 bucks a visit today. Their staff (dude with blue hair) told me they don't normally return consoles until I told him I spoke to someone in a higher position about this already, then, he wanted me to fill him in on what I was told so he could follow their policy better. Seemed like he was trying to cut me off on returns until I notified him, but I knew better already. Cosmic Games not only sell everything that Reset Games has, but they also do repairs, and their employees don't try to lie to me. They have made 1000s off of me and counting. Any issues I have had, they fix without charge as far as consoles or handhelds that I have purchased goes. Cosmic Games IS THE SUPIRIOR STORE costs more but WAY MORE accommodating and professional.
