A friend of mine is opening a small artisan consignment shop, and we were able to find amazing store displays--stand shelving, a bench, and several other pieces that helped create the perfect rustic yet chic, neutral look she was going for. The staff and volunteers were incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Parking is free, and I highly recommend going early during the weekday to make it easier to find a spot and less crowed. This place truly carries everything you could need for your home--sofas, bedroom and office furniture, bathroom items (from sinks to toilets), pots, home décor, light fixtures, shelving... you name it, they likely have it. They are constantly receiving new donations, so you never know what you'll find on a daily or weekly basis. Every time we thought we had found everything we needed, we decided to take one more look--and each time, we discovered even more great items. On top of that, it feels especially good knowing that your purchases support such a meaningful and worthwhile organization. If you have furniture or home items to donate, this is absolutely a place to bring them. I will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in--you never know what treasures you'll find!

I have been an avid thrifter for a year now and haven't been able to find an authentic, y2k, and in-good-condition coach bag. (and to all my vintage coach girlies you know how hard they are to find in a thrift store fairly priced as opposed to those god awful depop resellers) I thought I could never get my hands on one until today! The owner actually gave me a $20 discount after I asked for one!! It was on the pricy side, but I also felt good about my purchase knowing that a portion of the money was going to charity. I said then that I wouldn't go into details about…read morewhy I left such a negative review after doing business with Maizie for probably about two decades (both consigning and shopping) but since changed my mind. I had brought in some items to consign. Among them was a pocketbook, never used in perfect condition; it was not a top end designer bag but was a very good name brand selling for about $400. I felt that Karen priced it way too low for what I paid for it. I ended up deciding to leave it anyway since store policy is not to mark down again for five weeks if it doesn't sell, which Karen even reminded me of verbally. I called back in EXACTLY five weeks to the day and guess what?? It had already sold days before, and Karen had marked it down even further!! A direct violation of store policy that she promises to her consignors and also a direct violation of what she told me when I was on the fence about leaving it; in other words, a direct LIE. I ended up getting a 'pittance' of what I paid for it. It's very sad that a business owner would choose to pull a stunt like that; lying to a customer, but also violating store policy is, in essence, lying to all her customers.
