I had the Italian! So tasty

I was in the area and my friend brought me here and it was really good! It seems a bit pricey and the bagel themselves were a little small, but I had the Italian and it was very tasty. The bagels are fresh and you can see them making them daily. Staff was nice. I would say worth a try :)

Came here while on a trip to Toronto. This place is open 24/7 and has a variety of bagels. I got the lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. It was absolutely delicious and fresh. They also have a variety of drinks available. The workers are super quick and kind.

Christmas Day everything was closed :( I really wanted to eat a good breakfast that morning as I am driving around all I kept seeing was everything closed I was starting to lose hope until, there it was THE BAGEL HOUSE! YAY i was so happy it was open I couldnt wait to eat a good deli bagel sandwich. I found the staff working on shift that morning to be friendly quick and efficient overall my experience was great and the food was delicious. Two cons during my visit -my bagel wasnt cut in half completely -raisin bagel wasnt fresh, abit hard actually I will most definitely return :) I love the raisin bagel turkey sandwich and there beef patty.

The Bagel House Opens 24 hours! Now if we have more places that opens 24 hours! Not that I will wake up at 3 AM and have a craving for Bagels... but you never know.. I do wake up in the middle of the night have cravings of a lot of things. But having an option knowing that you can find something that is open beside that 24 hour MacDonald.. that is all good to me! The Bagel House makes the traditional Montreal bagel baked in front of me in a wood-fired stove! Now I know how fresh my bagels are!! The bagel dough includes egg and honey. Honey is also added to the water used for poaching the bagels before baking. Love the poppyseed ones.. yes it is infested with poppyseed and oh how they all stick to my teeth.. is someone playing a practical joke on me again?? The Salami bagel is more salami than bagel... But I think I rather has the bagel with butter or just a touch of cream cheese.. so I can really taste it in their purist form......... Now will I eat a Tim Horton bagel again??? hmmmm ....

I had to try these just to get a sense of what a Montreal style bagel was like. I won't lie, it's pretty darn good. Not my fave but definitely a great tasting bagel. I like the atmosphere here however some of the staff seem a bit impatient.

The bagel house has some decent bagels and sandwich options, they're fluffy and made fresh right in front of you. If you're looking for gourmet bagels then you won't find that here. These guys are open 24/7 which is pretty great, so obviously I wanted to head down at midnight to see if the quality is the same.... and they didn't let me down. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese with salmon, capers and onions. Not bad, but I probably won't order the salmon next time. It shouldn't take away from the fact that they're pretty close to the MTL Bagel house minus the 6 hour drive.

We came here at around 1 o'clock on a Saturday and there was a short lineup with the queue to order moving pretty swiftly. They had a small insulated canteen with cups where you can get water. The actual weight for the bagel sandwiches took a long time. We luckily got a spot on the patio and waited for our bagels there. The girl shouts out the orders name inside and if no one's in there, she goes out to the patio to bring it out. It was a really good bagel. I got the bodega and added bacon and it was nice and salty with some cheese and some sauce and on the weekends they have their za'atar bagels so I got it on that and it was delicious. I would come back again if it weren't so far from me.

I ended up with the Bodega bagel which had a variety of fillings that had the perfect mixture of creaminess and savory. The sauce in it was sooo delicious. My friend got the egg and cheese breakfast bagel and decided to add bacon to it, and it's perfect if you want something simple but filling! The place was poppin on a Sunday morning on top of the workers needing to make more bagels and cook the fillings so we waited about 35 minutes for our order. There were a handful of coffee shops nearby, so we decided to walk around and grab a cup of coffee while we waited. There were only bar seats that had about 6 chairs in total, so be prepared to snag a seat when you can to eat your bagel right away.

Even the Toronto Police were in there today buying specialty bagels. Who knew that sourdough bagels were a thing?! There was a sign that said it has been serving for 40 years. This was nearby so we went in as hubby was hungry. He ordered the fish & chips. I had just a small order of fries to snack on. The food was okay. It was like eating at a diner. Nothing upset my stomach at least, so this place passed that test. LOL. The fries were pretty ordinary. They were the kind of fries you get at a diner that were bulk bought & frozen. They weren't even warm when I got them. But they were unsalted which I liked because I could salt to my taste. Hubby's fish was a huge piece & he had fries also. He said it was ok. Our waitress was an elderly lady. She was nice pleasant & patient with us when hubby took his time deciding what to get. The service was very relaxed. There weren't too many customers in the eating area. The space is larger than it first appears because the bakery at the front creates a bottleneck. After our meal we paid & I went to use the bathrooms which are downstairs. The ladies bathroom is really dated too. But I will say everything was very clean. We got some rogalach & sugar free cookies from the bakery. We tried the sugar free cookies & they were dry as heck & flavourless. The rogalach was okay but pricey. This place wouldn't be my choice to eat at again, but at least their food was decent & the service was nice.

And The tuna is not the best as well. I wished they used solid white tuna but obviously it is a cheaper tuna product. They have been here a while though so they must be doing something right I try to stay away but come back every few months to torture myself. Do I recommended? Hard to say. If you want a below average bagel, maybe some low quality tuna or horrendous service? Then be my guest. I'll still get my bagels from Bagel World or Kiva's They are much better products than here.

Location: Bayview North of Steele's in the Longos plaza Parking; There's a lot of free parking. It's pretty busy because the longos and it's near a Ramona's kitchen. But there's always parking. The place,: It's tiny when you first walk in you go to the spot where all the bagels are and you pick them using tongs into a bag is pretty tight in that area and you go around to where they bring out the bagels and then around where they're sweet treats and a counter. At this counter if you grab a bagel you can give it to them and get a sandwich made out of it my favorite is a toasted chicken salad no vegetables. You pay extra for vegetables and I'm too cheap to pay like a dollar for some cucumber. They have all different kinds of bagels the most popular is the rainbow bagel because more often than not it is low or not there. But don't fret because they're constantly making bagels all day and chances are there's something that's still warm to the touch because they've just brought it out! You also have some cooked food such as falafel and other things I've never ordered it but I know people that haven't said that they really like it. I am sticking to my chicken salad bagel. I think the chicken salad is delicious. I do notice that a lot of people get the egg salad and my friend swears by the smoke salmon and cream cheese. It is seriously tiny so the seating situation is zero but people don't realize, or some people don't realize, that that's actually a little mall and if you exit the store on the side you come upon a seating area where there's about 20 seats.. I've never not had a seat. I would like a lot? Yes of course I've been back many times this is one of my favorite bagel places. And let me say it again because I don't think the million other times I said it was enough, I love their chicken salad sandwiches.
