Great dessert, but the worst coffee I've ever had. By far! Get a real barista! Please, or i will never return.

Public Safety Alert: Menu Misrepresentation, Undisclosed Pork Concealed in Cajun Pasta at Bistro 24…read more On July 4, 2026, during a holiday trip from Georgia (5+ hour drive), my fiancée and I dined at Bistro 24 at Pearl River Resort. Having abstained from pork for over 30 years, I trusted the menu when ordering Cajun Pasta--a meatless base with a paid Chicken add-on. Unbeknownst to us, pork sausage was heavily concealed inside the thick Alfredo sauce and vegetable base. We elected carry-out containers after sampling several bites and returned to our room with the intentions of getting some much needed rest. Hours later, my fiancée suffered acute gastrointestinal distress. I called front desk to be connected to Bistro 24, in hope of speaking directly to a manager or food representative, to no avail. Moments later I suffered severe biological rejection resulting in acute emesis upon our bedding. At that time I requested housekeeping. We were forced to get dressed and leave our room at the Silver Star Hotel to address the issue in-person at Bistro 24 inside the Golden Moon Casino. We confronted the manager and Executive Chef. The Chef openly admitted, in front of the manager, that he intentionally added pork sausage to the base because "everyone was asking for it to be", despite omitting it from the menu. This was a deliberate decision to alter a dish without disclosing a restricted protein. We filed an on-property complaint with resort security (Officer Iris, badge #47). Post-departure, we sent emailed complaints. Risk Management sent a Certified Mail package offering a nominal $500 each, conditional upon signing a Confidential Release Form. We rejected it. I offered a final window for them to outline their corrective menu policies, but they chose total silence. CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING: I urge anyone with severe food allergies, religious/spiritual beliefs, or dietary restrictions to exercise extreme caution here. When a kitchen intentionally conceals pork inside a base sauce without labeling it, it creates a high-risk environment. You cannot trust this menu. Due to the resort's total lack of accountability, I am formally escalating this to the Choctaw Gaming Commission and the Office of the Tribal Chief for a full regulatory audit. We intend to exhaust all available means to protect public safety from corporate entities that fail to acknowledge grievances and operate outside of policies meant to protect the public. Enough seating for two or more people. Service 3 Stars - we arrived around 1:30 to avoid the lunch rush and both cashiers were counting their till so we had to wait before we can ordered. We ordered two lunch items. Meal: 3.5 Stars Philly Steak and Cheese Poyboy w a drink. So, the cheesesteak comes as a Panni sandwich, flatten down which is odd. It looked like it was ran over with an Asphalt roller. I don't know if my employee requested that way or not. I wish I took a picture but he was all ready devouring it. Burger : 3.5 Stars w fries and drink. I had a burger with a fried egg on it. It was good and juicy but the fries were ok. Some of the fries were partly cooked in the center. As I was eating my meal, I noticed on receipt I ordered two drinks which I was charge but when I paid for the items, the cashier charge me an extra drink on a separate ticket because she thought she didn't think she charge me on the original order. It took staff members to fix the issue and I was refunded for one drink. So make sure the cashier repeat what you ordered. Fortunately it wasn't too busy and they were able to handle the issue immediately.

Came here while in MS for work based on the good reviews, and I am SO GLAD that I did!…read more The food is amazing!! The seafood is fresh and cooked on site and the sides are all homemade to perfection. I ordered the fried (you can get anything grilled as well) Catfish with gator platter to go with three sides: Mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. The catfish was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fresh on the inside, and was fully deboned. It was also not oily at all which is surprisingly pleasant with a fried item. It had just the right amount of flavor, and was excellent alone as well as with their homemade tartar sauce. The gator was cooked well with a kind of blackened flavor and was great on its own as well, and paired well with their homemade kickback sauce. The potato salad was the most delicious I have ever had in my life! It was bursting with flavor. The Mac and cheese was so delicious cheesy and creamy and you could tell someone made it from scratch. The coleslaw was a different flavor than I'm used to but was very very good and homemade as well. For dessert I got the beignets with sugar and cinnamon on 2 and powdered sugar on one. It came with choice of sauce and I got the chocolate dipping sauce. They were fresh, just sweet enough and a perfect end to a wonderful meal. The service was excellent and friendly and I even got to try a side of their seafood/crawfish étouffée for free. The cashier was knowledgeable and gave me enough sauce for my food without me even having to ask for more. They bring your food out to your car and the wait was not long. TLDR: Amazing fresh and homemade seafood and sides at this hidden gem with excellent and friendly customer service. Will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area!

But the former has mostly been a southeastern fixture. So, on a trip to Mississippi where some my wife's relatives live, we stopped into Krystal on the way back to Texas. The restaurant itself has a small dining room with a carpeted floor (kinda has a 90s vibe). The staff were very friendly though, and we didn't have to wait long. We ordered the 24-pack which came out pipping hot in a tower-style carrying case. They seem to have a meatier patty, a fresher, softer and thicker bun, and slightly larger steamed onion slivers and pickles. Also, the biggest difference is that the sliders came standard with mustard. More substantial than White Castle. Delicious! We also tried the sliders with cheese and bacon, which were even better! My wife ordered the mini corn dog and chili dog, which were perfect! The fries and tots were good but nothing over-the-top. If you are ever in Philadelphia, MS then you must try a Krystal slider.
