I have loved Dickies for a decade now but our local one closed a while back. While in Philadelphia we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and it was great. I had a baker with chicken and my friend had a brisket sandwich with a side of okra. It was delicious! My first impression of the restaurant was how nice and clean it was and the service was excellent. We both were greeted immediately upon walking in. One star given only because the review requires it. Other wise, negative 5. Online order placed for 2 pounds of pulled pork, regular sauce and 4 small spicy sauces (receipt attached). They gave me 2 pounds of pulled pork and the equivalent of 1/2 cup of regular sauce and 1 pint of spicy sauce (3rd picture). I called the restaurant asking why I wouldn't have gotten a container of sauce per pound of meat. The person answering the phone was rude and argumentative. I didn't expect this from the manager. In a previous purchase, chicken and pulled pork were purchased and two pint size container's were received. One pint for each order? I was told I didn't specify two orders of regular bbq sauce and that I got more spicy. The last picture is how much was used of each. We still have 1 pound of pull pork, remaining. There are not a lot of options in Philadelphia Mississippi so it was nice to see a familiar BBQ chain. I have had Dickey's in Texas so I am familiar with the brand. This location was good. I ordered BBQ sandwich plate that included two sides. I ordered the baked beans and fried okra. The sandwich was big and the pork was flavorful. No surprises there. What I was really impressed with were my sides. They beans were sweet and unique because they have chunks of chopped pork mixed with the beans. Very good. The portion of fried okra is large. The best part is they are fried to-order so they are served piping hot. read more

A great BBQ fund while in Philadelphia, MS for the day. Pulled pork was tender & flavorful. It comes without sauce and you get to pick your own sauce at the condiment station, Original, Sweet or Spicy. I got original and it was sooo good. Tangy not sweet with just a little spice to it but not hot at all. read more

Impressed from the time I walked through the door. Clean and spacious. What I ordered was delicious. 2 meat plate with ribs and brisket. Order of wings on the side. Ribs were tender, brisket flavoral and wings were hot out the oil. Not one complaint. Keep up the good work. read more

Over the last few years they have been closed for health inspection scores on and off... I don't care why the health department shut them down because I love there fries! I don't like most of there food but I love there tender ribs and fries so much! The employees are nice as well! Go get a rib plate today! It's expensive but worth it! read more

Late in the evening when we stopped in. Food wasn't great or bad. Sauces were boring. Floors and tables were dirty. The iced tea dispenser was leaking onto the counter and then onto the floor which was slippery! One of the guys mopped but really just spread it out more. A real mess. read more

I have never really been a fan of Dickies BBQ until I stopped at the restaurant in philidelphia. The food is so much better here. The meat is MOSIT and tender. They do not offer ice cream like other restaurants I have been in but the quality of food is so much better. I am not a fan of the younger cook they have at the restaurant but the manager is very nice. read more

I've tried several locations across the South and received much better quality than this location. The meats are just okay, and the sides are poor quality. The baked potato... the last one... looked to be 10 hours old. They served it anyway. The kid had no idea it was crap. read more

Ribs are okay. Brisket tends to be fatty. Once got moldy cheese on the potatoe casserole. Ham is good and so are rolls and green beans. My ten year old son won't eat from there at all. They don't have anything he likes so I usually only eat there when kids aren't with me. read more
