Friendly people behind the counter, trays of baked goods, and none of the polished nonsense that usually comes with places trying too hard. We happened upon Brennan's completely by accident after getting out of the car to check out a mural. We stopped in for coffee, started chatting with the owner, and she suggested that we go check out another mural nearby. So obviously we did. That mural led us to THREE more, and suddenly what had started as simply stopping to look at some art turned into this completely unplanned, ridiculously fun date exploring murals and places we never would have found otherwise. And the coffee was so good that what was supposed to be a random stop has now turned into us coming back every morning since. The drinks are fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the kind of local hospitality where someone takes the time to say, "Hey, if you liked that, you should go see this..." is exactly what makes discovering a small business so special. Brennan's didn't just become part of our date they helped create the date. Five stars for the coffee, the kindness, and for accidentally sending us on one of our favorite spontaneous adventures.
