My mix of chocolate covered everything! Espresso beans, cherries, blueberries, almonds..in both milk and dark chocolate. Everything worked.

Employees were helpful in navigating the extensive selection of unique, brilliantly creative chocolate desserts. The medium lighting and displays as well as self-serve options were both interactive and made the experience more exciting. Harkening back to my childhood. And as far as the chocolates..oh my gosh, they were excellent!! From chocolate covered espresso beans, almonds, cherries, blueberries, potato chips of all things. Every single piece was delectable, and stood on its own merit. I even made my own custom mix.

    Counter of caramel apples

Food - tried a few chocolates and they were alright. The coconut haystack was a bit hard and the pecan cluster wasn't soft either. Lime soft serve ice cream was different yet good. Service- man serving ice cream was rude and seemed bothered serving customers. Young lady at the candy counter was nice and helpful. Ambiance - European candy store Would recommend for a sweet treat if in the area but I have had better chocolates.

My recent order that they shipped to my house in Salt Lake City. Crush candy cane and dark, milk with nuts and dark sea salt caramel.

So many options! Things place I symboled on while visiting this adorable little town and now I order from them regularly online. Their chocolate Carmel covered apples are so good! AND they have so many options in both milk and dark. I'm a dark girl so this is my place. Even though I live thousands of miles away I order online and they deliver my treats and they still taste so fresh. I want to buy a vacation property in this cute town because of this chocolate shop and the charm it brings to the town.

Soon as you walk in this place smells amazing of a light chocolate. We see delicious caramel apples. So many different kids of chocolate covers treats, fudge , popcorn and other candy. We got a chocolate bar and peanut butter bomb. Both tasted of a very smooth and creamy chocolate. Peanut butter was also a light , smooth and creamy taste. Tasted like a peanut butter/chocolate explosion in you mouth. Everything was done to perfection. Nothing tasted overwhelming. We will definitely be going back to try more. My husband said it was the perfect chocolate bar. Kids of course had white cheddar popcorn.

once you walk in, your get hit with the sell of sweets. if you have a sweet tooth this is the place for you. the ambiance inside screams candy shop! front of the house is the chocolates and taffy plus fudge!! and the back is all the ice cream you could ever want. The service here is quick and you can sample. Fun michigan flavors: Play-Doh, superman and blue moon.

Stopped into the Chocolate Haus in downtown Gaylord to pick a few dark chocolate goodies while golfing up North at Treetops Resort. I was glad to see Gaylord's downtown vibrant, busy, and full of all kinds of unique independent shops. Alpine Chocolate Haus fit right in with the cool "Swiss Chalet" flavor characterizing so many businesses on Main Street. Their chocolate is outstanding and competitively priced. I also noted that they sell flavored popcorn including something I've never seen before...Super Hottttt!!! Ghost Pepper Caramel Corn. Tried a sample kernel and burned all the way home. I also jumped on one of my perennial chocolate faves...Dark Chocolate-coated Orange Peels...wow....they were the money shot. I'm throwing the Chocolate Haus a delicious 4 stars.

This one is located in Gaylord and like the other locations, their menu are pretty close and similar. Parking could get pretty tough due to its location, but not impossible. They offer my favorite ghost pepper caramel Popcorn at all the locations.

Yummy ice cream but VERY pricey in comparison to lots of other ice cream shops we've frequented this summer.

The best chocolate ever from the sea foam to the potato chips. Don't pass it by because we sure don't.

And it truly looked like an "up north" restraunt, with the wooden walls, and the white bear near the entrance. This seems lake a place where people know each other and come here frequently; several times, I saw servers greeting customers by name. The complimentary bread they served was delicious. Nobody else in our party wanted the leftovers, so I was the lucky recipient of 3 loaves! I ordered the whitefish on a plank. It was a huge piece of fish served with mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli that was cooked just right; it didn't even need any seasoning. It was big enough that I was satisfied with just half and I took the other half home to enjoy later. We also shared an ice cream sandwich -- coffee ice cream sandwiched between 2 chocolate chip cookies, with some whipped cream on the side. It was good but too sweet. The only negative to me was that the water was well water, an overwhelming taste that, as I suburban dweller, I never got used to.

Additionally, we got the whitefish bites and the complimentary bread. So hard not to try everything, but it makes it easier with a bigger party. For dinner, I got the smaller portion of walled eyed. The fish was so fresh! I didn't think I had room for dessert, but we shared a slice of carrot cake. It was worth it! Highly recommend this place for a special occasion. Such a beautiful place! I want to come back and check out the bar wi the husband for a chill night too.

This place was such a fun breakfast stop!…read more My wife ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast with a yogurt, and I had the Michigan Berry Salad. First of all... the portions are HUGE! We shared everything and still had leftovers. We were literally fighting over the last bite of that cinnamon roll French toast... I lost. But that's okay because I took my butt right back the next day and ordered a full serving all for myself! Now, the salad wasn't my favorite, but I do want to say this. With everything that's been in the news lately about fresh produce and people being cautious because of recent food safety concerns, I was paying close attention. This salad looked freshly prepared not dumped out of a bag which made me feel much better about ordering it. The real star of the show, though, was that Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It was absolutely worth going back for! The people in Gaylord are some of the sweetest you'll ever meet, and the staff here fit right in. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. The restaurant itself is colorful, cozy, and full of charm. I especially loved the giant colorful coffee mugs decorating the outside they're adorable and definitely photo-worthy! One thing to know before you go: they close at 2:00 PM, so make sure you get there before then. If you're looking for a wholesome breakfast spot with generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere, Rise & Dine is definitely a must-try!
