We have purchased cake pops from sugar me sweet a hand full of times for baby showers and weddings and they never disappoint! Amazing work!

I asked for the first cake posted and I received this cake. The frosting is not even, the flowers are not nearly as delicate and she wrote my Moms name on a piece of paper with pink and taped it to the base. I asked her while picking up the cake if she could write her name with pink frosting on top of the cake instead and she said NO! I asked if it was possible to write my Moms name with frosting on the cake base, her answer was NO! I get the cake home and co.pletely open up the box and notice the 90 on the front of the cake is nothing like the photo, and the frosting isn't evenly spread. Upon reaching out to her about my disappointment she immediately told me she did the cake precisely like I asked. Well you can see that is clearly not the case. Then she told me that I was being nit picky from the get go. Well, it is my Moms 90th milestone birthday and I should be getting what I want. I explained some petite and elegant like my Mom. Then she stated that I was a f ******rude hag and that she would bad mouth me. This after not even being able to discuss the matter because she continued to cut me off while speaking. I couldn't get a word in edge wise and she was literally yelling at me. Then she told me to take my negative self to walmart or meijer. So I did. Look at the delicacy of the flowers on the cake I ordered from walmart, on top of that they were very kind and professional. Sugar me sweet owner, Lori, gave me the worst cake I have ever purchased, worst customer service. Unprofessional, insulting and rude. Never again. Please do your research before purchasing a cake for a special occasion. I would give ZERO stars if I could. read more

Lori was so amazing to work with and our wedding cake, parfaits, and mini cupcakes were absolutely delicious! We wanted a variety of desserts for our guests to choose from and Lori did not dissappoint. She has so many options and flavors to choose from at a very afforable price. We loved the little sample platter she gives to help make our decision on flavors. She not only delivered a beautiful cake with exactly what I had imagined but also provided cute little details on our finger desserts. Lori was awesome to work with over the past few months. I was communicating with her from Colorado to cater desserts for my wedding in Michigan. She always followed up very quickly and was willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. We went with a 3 tier lemon cake, 6 or so dozen cupcakes, and cake pops. You could tell that her cakes were made from scratch and tasted a whole lot better than store bought wedding cakes. She loaned some of her props to enhance the dessert set-up bar look I was going for. She even let me mail her a ton of stuff to use for our dessert set up as well. I was able to trust that Lori would should up while I was busy getting ready for our wedding day, and set-up our dessert bar according to the vision I laid out to her, and she did exactly that! Lori at Sugar Me Sweet Bakery is absolutely amazing to work with! She made a small 2 tier cutting cake for our wedding, to be in the middle of a desserts table. She is so sweet, allows you to do cake tastings, and is easy to communicate with! She delivered our cake and set it up for us on the day of the wedding free of charge so we didn't have to worry about a thing! It was perfect and everyone raved about the cake. In fact, we had none left over for ourselves to take! The banana split cake flavor is to die for! read more
