I felt like I was just being tugged on, pushed and pulled. It was much more like a Thai/ sports massage . I expressed my concerns in the front after . The gentlemen recommended I should get a Swedish massage but I responded that I wanted deep pressure like what's on the website not the jostling and stretching that happens with a sports/thai massage. He just apologized and said he'd let the therapist know.... Instead the massage therapist treats you while you are partially clothed and covered by a sheet. If you need serious bodywork due to pain or tight muscles then Guozhi is your man. I was not quite prepared for how intense it was. It was a LOT but I walked out feeling at least 90% better (I came in with very tense shoulders and almost a kink in my neck). There were two times when I had to ask him to reduce the pressure and he was so understanding. I couldn't believe how he went 90 minutes nonstop but he did. He wanted to know what was bothering me and where I needed him to focus.
