I understand having a limited drink menu, but each time my friend asked for a recommendation she was responded to as if she had just spit in that woman's face. The final straw was when my friend said, "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with most of these drinks. What do you have that is sweet?" asking for a recommendation. The bartender looked at her and said "sugar" then rolled her eyes so hard I'm surprised they didn't get stuck in the back of her head. I understand being over your job, but my friend did nothing wrong. Was not rude, and in return got spoken to like a child. I don't know what the chip on this person's shoulder was, but if you absolutely HAVE to to be vile to everyone you speak to, try a back of the house position because you are actively damaging your bar's reputation.

It's really a great space for having a private party. And on top of that, while it can fill up quickly, there's free street parking outside. On this Friday, the line started forming before 7pm, and doors for seating opened around 7:30 for the 8pm show. Once inside, there is self-seating, and specific tables can be reserved. It's a big room for around 100. The photos don't do it justice. It's cozy and bright and fresh, with banquet-type chairs and tables, and a full bar that seats around 6 in comfortable padded high-back chairs. We had immediate service from both the bar and kitchen, and were served quickly by friendly staff. The room was full, so maybe some others had longer waits for service. We had prosecco and Jack&ginger, both fine. Food arrived quickly, too, and it was perfect! You might not expect it from a menu that is mostly fried, but wow again, the broiled salmon was perfectly creamy, tender, fresh and flavorful, and the fried fish was generous and very fresh, maybe the best i've ever had! More than one person praised the wings, too! The managers visited our table a few times to be sure we were happy, and we were :-). Everyone we met was nice to talk to, and the whole crowd had a real good time. Several couples got up on the dance floor, too. Outside, there is a large parking area with watchful staff. I came here last night with the SO to see a friend play who is based in Nashville, but was making a mini-tour through this part of the country. They hold a show (on average) one Saturday per month. When I say intimate, I mean you're at most 100 feet from the stage in the back row, and it only holds a few hundred seats. This is run by a non-profit so prices on everything are very reasonable. So reasonable, in fact that you may want to make a small donation. They also accept used musical instruments as part of another program to get music into the local community and schools. If this sounds like your kind of place, then it probably is. They deserve to be patronized. Bonus: Beer, wine, coffee, tea, homemade cookies, and singer merch in the back. Where else do you get to shake hands and tell the artist what you thought of their show without buying a VIP ticket?
