Initially I was drawn in by the price but now I let my hair grow out and wait until I am back in town just to go hear rather than another shop. Every single barber here knows exactly what they are doing and are not afraid to talk with you and experiment with style in a conservative way. They always pay attention to detail, make sure you are comfortable with what they are doing and take their time. I literally one told my gf to wait in the car I will be back in 10 and she ended up waiting just under an hour. No there wasn't a line and I was seen right away and no, my hair is short so it generally takes 10-15 minutes max but these guys literally made sure that every strand of hair was at an even length, pulled out the straight razor to make sure all angles and borders are perfect and all around just give you the vibe that they are not just trying to pump more customers through but rather do a quality job for everyone. If you have a chance to stop by, I highly, highly recommend giving them a shot!

The price was more than reasonable at only $20. But the greatest thing about going here is Sam himself. I noticed a plaque on the wall about Sam barbering for over 70 years. Huh? Finally I asked: "Sam, how old are you?" The reply was: "94." He shared that he loves his job and looks forward to coming to work every day. He enjoys the people who come into his shop. Meeting Sam was an experience I'll never forget. The haircut was secondary. If you want to meet somebody who loves life and exudes happiness and contentment you must meet Sam. After my 2nd or third cut they are gone and i have to start from scratch. My last stylist (Adrian) was great but is no longer there. I stopped in just before the holidays to get a cut approx 1100 am on a saturday and was informed they were booked and could not accomodate me that day. They asked if i would like to make an appointment for the next day (Sunday). I said that would be ok and they booked me for 1000am. I arrived at 950 and waited 30 minutes for someone to arrive but no one did. After investigating further i discovered they do not open until 1100. They had my number and i never did receive a call . Very disappointed and contemplating whether to return or not.

He also did a new style of shave and beard trim it was very interesting it really opened up the polls in my skin.
