On Sept. 2, our dog Bruce suffered a deep puncture wound from another dog at Park9 Pearson --…read morebarely missing his eye -- requiring multiple vet visits and weeks of healing (and counting). Park9 Pearson -- in particular, General Manager Wendy Raven-Chang -- has downplayed the incident, attempted to shift blame onto Bruce, accused us of trying to take advantage of their "humanitarian side," and even suggested we were "breed shaming" the other dog -- a larger, stronger breed that was unharmed and faced no consequences. Here are the facts: * The incident could have been avoided. Surveillance footage shows the attendant was distracted on their cell phone and failed to notice the tension and aggression building, including the actual dog biting Bruce. * Bruce was left alone and injured. A timestamp from Park9 confirms he was bleeding and unattended for over 10 minutes. * No timely notification. Staff failed to inform us immediately; at pick-up, they downplayed the wound as a "cut" and did not provide proper information. * No follow-up. When we reached out, staff again dismissed the severity of his deep puncture wound as "rough play." * No accountability for the other dog. Wendy stated the dog had no prior issues and would remain a client. * Refusal to release footage. Park9 only showed a small snapshot during an in-person meeting. * Inconsistent offers. Wendy initially offered to fully credit our account for the vet cost, but later reduced the offer to only 50%. To date, we have not received any reimbursement and communication has ceased entirely. * Repeated concerns ignored. Wendy admitted other clients have raised issues with attendants being distracted by cell phones and the attendant-to-dog ratio, yet no action was taken. If this had been handled with honesty, compassion, and accountability, we wouldn't be writing this. It is disappointing because we have invested years into this service, and it took one incident for Park9 Pearson to turn their backs on Bruce and us. Park9 Pearson has gone to great lengths to protect the other client, their dog, and their staff and business, far more than taking accountability and showing compassion for Bruce -- the actual victim in this incident. To be clear: we will not be returning to Park9 Pearson. But we will be vocal about our experience -- for Bruce, and in the hope it drives real improvements in staff training, oversight, and communication so no other dog or family goes through this. On a positive note, Bruce is recovering well at home with his dads

The most patient and caring crew to look after your pups! They give feedback, advice, and just care so much. I stalk the Webcams (alot) lol ... and I have even noticed how much my pups behavior has changed, I assume due to the proper care and comfort. They work through the difficult parts (my dog has zero off button) and embrace the great parts too. They even did a photo shoot for my pups 2nd bday! Please trust your pups here! My dog knows when I say "we're going to daycare & you're gonna get to play with all the other puppies" ... she loves it! Thank you all for the love you give my pup, and for giving me a little bit of my life back (I can't leave her alone lol) Have also gotten bathing and nails done a few times! Best place :)

I have nothing but positive things to say about Juno. I've been a member for just over a year and…read moreit is well worth the membership fee. I've used the virtual option several times for various minor issues. Response times are pretty much immediate and I've always been provided excellent information. I've saved a lot of money avoiding having to go into any [emergency] clinic and seeing a vet for these concerns. All the staff I've interacted with, either front of house, vet techs, vets, etc., they've all been friendly and welcoming towards all pets and humans alike. The costs are always explained upfront and you can decide how to proceed. I appreciate the transparency. If your insurance company is Trupanion, submissions are direct and you'll know if you have to pay or not. There is a beverage bar with hot and cold drinks for the people. There are water bowls and treatos for the furries. 5 stars. They're excellent! I can't wait for more locations!

I am extremely disturbed and disappointed by my experience at Juno Veterinary with Dr. Lam. We originally came in for a follow-up appointment regarding my dog Blizzard's eye injury, not for vaccinations. Yet the focus of the appointment quickly shifted away from the actual issue we came in for and heavily toward vaccines and parasite prevention products. Before any vaccines were administered, I specifically told the doctor multiple times that I did NOT believe Blizzard's medical records from our previous veterinarians were complete yet and that I was unsure whether he was actually due. Instead of listening to my concerns or waiting for proper verification, I was made to feel like a negligent and irresponsible pet owner simply for questioning the recommendations. The pressure during the appointment was extremely overwhelming. The way vaccines and parasite prevention were pushed made it feel as though declining or waiting would mean I was failing my dog, despite me clearly communicating uncertainty about his records. The vaccines were administered anyway without giving me a proper opportunity to confirm his full medical history first. After the appointment, Blizzard became lethargic and unwell enough that I had to contact the clinic in distress. As an owner, it was terrifying watching my dog react poorly after receiving vaccines he ultimately did not even need at that time. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the clinic later admitted in writing that the Bordetella and Leptospirosis vaccines were NOT actually due until September 2026. In other words, unnecessary medical treatment was administered while my concerns about incomplete records were ignored. Instead of taking meaningful accountability afterward, the clinic's response focused heavily on protecting itself and emphasizing "consent," while completely ignoring the imbalance of power between a worried owner and a veterinary professional. Pet owners trust veterinarians to exercise caution and proper judgment, especially when records are incomplete and concerns are directly raised. That did not happen here. This entire experience left me feeling like profit and upselling vaccines mattered more than listening to concerns about my dog's actual condition or ensuring his records were properly verified first. At no point did I feel heard, respected, or supported as an owner trying to advocate for my dog. I left this experience feeling pressured, dismissed, judged, and completely betrayed by a clinic I trusted with my dog's care. The lack of compassion and accountability afterward only made the situation worse. I will be escalating this matter further because no pet should be overdosed and no pet owner should be placed in this position.

I trust Mike implicitly with access to my house (where I am still very slowly moving in) and have credit cards and the like all over the place. Second, since dogs have "business" to do outside it's very important that your dog walker is reliable. My dog will have her bladder burst rather than going in the house. I know I can trust Mike to not only take appointments when I need them but that can be relied upon to show up. He also will give a walk report to you in text letting you know if your dog eliminated and how things went in general. He has never once missed a walk and he is great about taking on extra walks on short notice. Moreover the prices compared to the rest of the market are really great. My dog is a problem dog and Mike gives off a confident energy that I know I can trust if problems should arise. It is clear just from the way his energy is that he knows dogs. That's a really hippy thing to say but having known dog trainers and walkers over the years there's a certain presence and Mike has it. He has also been kind enough to bring up dog food delivered to my porch free of charge which I truly appreciate. That is not his job. Recently when I was away on a trip he even boarded her free of charge as he noticed she was destroying my house while I was away. I honestly can't say enough good things about Good Boys. UPDATE: MY DOG IS FIXED! I have spent thousands (literally) on many different dog trainers over the years trying to fix my dog's severe anxiety aggression. For years she was unable to interact with other dogs without someone(s) going to the vet or humans (me and others) going to the hospital. Now with Mike's help, she's totally fine. I can't say how happy I am. If you have a problem pet that you love....you gotta try Good Boys UPDATE 2: 2/4/16: Still using Mike. You're not gonna get a better dog walker at his price or any price.

From the moment…read morehe walked through the door he exuded a calm, confident energy that is critical around large dogs. My husband and I have 2 Rotties with very different personalities. One is lazy but wary of human strangers while the other is high energy and moderately dog aggressive, but both of them loved Michael immediately. Not only does he balance the needs/capacity of our two very different dogs, he somehow managed to socialize our trouble child with other dogs and sent us pictures to prove it! He successfully took them for pack walks; I wouldn't have believed it unless I'd seen it with my own eyes. Michael is amazing! He's responds quickly to text messages and is flexible with re-schedule/adding walks. He's even thoughtful and kind enough to bring in packages from our doorstep if anything's been delivered during the day. Knowing that he's fully bonded & insured made the choice a no-brainer. Handing over your house keys to a complete stranger can be difficult, so knowing that Michael is fully covered is icing on the cake. He has a flexible payment schedule and accepts eTransfers.
