She provides an excel spreadsheet that covers the majority of your basic planning questions tailored specific for the venue. DECOR IS INCLUDED (and gorgeous). There is a whole barn full of western/vintage decor that you are free to use. This saves so much time and money! For those of you reading the other reviews about it being hot in the summer because of no AC, THERE IS NOW AC! The reception hall and all the back rooms are fully air conditioned! If you want an easy wedding planning experience and a beautiful backdrop to marry the love of your life (that costs fractions of what it would at other venues), Sparrow Creek is the place to go! We just had our daughters wedding at SCR. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. First, Kalli was so helpful the entire time. She was quick to answer questions and sent tons of helpful information and checklists which helped me every step of the way. The venue is absolutely stunning! We used The Grove for our ceremony, however there are different areas you can use and they're all beautiful. The reception barn is rustic and so gorgeous in itself you don't have to use a lot of decor. Need decor!? No problem, this place has a plethora of decor you have access to. Kalli has a list of vendors she recommends and they too, did not disappoint!! SCR is not only affordable, you get the entire weekend. We decorated the day before and it was so nice and took stress away to be able to get that completed and not rush the day of. We were able to spend the day of wedding just getting ready and I, just enjoyed spending the day with my daughter. If this venue isn't close to you they have you covered there as well. Less than 1/2 a mile is Wildcatter Ranch and we had a wonderful stay there. Another plus to this venue is there are 2 bridal suites. We were able to get ready and hang out in one and the other was a beautiful location for bridal pictures. We did not have to rush around and clean to take pictures. I had a review from google & they deleted it. Be careful paying the cleaning fee as they will come back & try to charge you an additional cleaning fee even after you already left everything clean. The venue is absolutely beautiful but I would not have a summer wedding here as it is insanely hot & your guests will be pouring sweat! They have like a weird fan but its too small to keep the entire venue cold, they should deff invest into a AC unit. The communication and everything was good but again they tried to stick additional cleaning fees to me and the other complaint was my guests were pouring sweat. read more

SCR Venue is INCREDIBLE. Highly affordable, unique, gorgeous and has indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony (in the event it rains! Like it did for ours). I decided to come back and leave my review after finding out they discriminate against LGBTQ couples too. This is a wonderful venue for a wedding or any event you might be hosting. I have attended weddings, birthday parties and college alumni events at their fun barn. The barn is very unique and the owners have a cute, eclectic style. They are very easy to work with and are very helpful in recommending other vendors for you to use. The owners at Sparrow Creek Ranch are one of a kind. I have never met more genuinely humble business owners. They helped make my dream wedding come true. Everything was absolutely perfect. The venue is one of a kind with their gorgeous chandeliers and stunning decor. We only had to add minimal decorations to go with our fairytale beauty and the beast themed wedding. Kalli was fantastic to work with and was always a call, text or email away to answer any questions or help with a suggestion. After researching several different venues before finding this one. We were amazed that we had the venue the entire weekend, which is EXTREMELY rare. We were able to set up and decorate Friday. Then had all day Saturday to get ready and set up last minute things. They even included some time on Sunday to finish cleaning up and load the rest of our things. I highly highly recommend this venue for a flexible and stunning wedding. WHAT A VENUE! Sparrow Creek Ranch is every brides dream. Not only is the barn breath taking the inside is even better! SCR has the most beautiful vintage chandeliers hanging down from the barn ceiling, vintage chairs, decor, and so much more! The bridal room where the girls got ready made it so fun to be onsite ready to go for the wedding. With a personal bathroom and huge mirrors with room for everyone to get ready. Beautiful barn full of sparkling crystal chandelier. I attended the first wedding ever held here. The bride and groom were married in a beautiful ceremony in a field with large live oaks as a backdrop. The music was a guitarist and a singer with the most amazing voice. As the woman was singing, a bird in a nearby tree started singing with her. It was a magical moment. I have been to several events there since then and they have all been beautiful. Our wedding at SCR was extraordinarily beautiful. The barn is wonderful and wowed many of our guests. There are also many decorations at the barn they allow you to use for free. I was extremely lucky in that the weekend of my wedding the bridal suite and the new bathrooms were available for me (and my guests) use. Unfortunately, The bridal suite and the bathrooms were not completely ready, so the bathrooms didn't have mirrors yet and needed some other additions and the bridal suite wasn't fully complete, but I had already planned to get ready at the WildCatter. All in all it was very kind of them to allow us to use the new facilities! And the bridal suite ended up being extremely useful for hiding from my guests and groom ;). Because they are always working to upgrade the facilities, there was some scrap metal visible in the area I wished to use as my ceremony site. I spoke with Kalli about it and sure enough everything was moved by the Friday before our wedding. Kalli always replied to my emails quickly and was extremely kind and helpful. Kalli and Kevin allowed us to visit to venue more than once to check on progress and to let us look at the venue to help with our wedding planning. AND what other venue gives you so much time to decorate and clean up to help alleviate the stress of rushing to get everything perfect before the wedding and rushing to get everything cleaned up afterwards? The price for the venue was not overbearing, and we received our deposit before we even got back from our honeymoon. I would definitely recommend this venue. read more

A charming location for a special occasion. The property has a large rustic barn adorned with crystal chandlers and antique mirrors. The space comes with a variety of vintage decorations for your use. I personally loved the two large picnic tables under the chandler trees surrounded by lantern lights. We used a ton of tea candles indoor and out, to create a romantic feeling. One of the best parts of this property is you get it for the weekend and can pick any location on the property for your ceremony. The owners are extremely helpful and easy to work with. All our guest stayed at the Wildcatter Ranch a mile up the road. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an outdoor wedding. If you can dream it up, you can create it at Sparrow Creek Ranch. read more

Also you get to have the venue for 3 days which is plenty of time to set up & decorate as you like. Everyone that went loved it. This place was perfect for what we wanted. The Barn at Sparrow Creek Ranch - Venues & Event Spaces Near Me - Graham, Texas

As someone who has worked at many barn wedding venues, this place has a ways to go. First off, there is no air circulation, so get ready to lose some sweat. Sure they have a fan, but it only blows In air. The hot air has no where to go. Designers obviously never heard of ventilation. Be prepared with lots of cold water on hand. I spoke with the coordinator, who had been here in the winter and she said it was also freezing cold there as well, so no heat. Second, there is no kitchen, so your caterer will have to prepare food before hand. Not usually an issue, but it could be. Third, lack of food storage. There is one old fridge in the corner of the barn, so do not plan on having a lot of food storage. Fourth, be prepared to stock the bathrooms with towels and toilet paper. That's correct, the facility does not provide you with any essentials. No trashcan liners Fifth, it will get dusty. Sure, it's north west Texas, but be prepared to bring out your brooms because any wind that blows brings in the dust. This is dust that gets on your cake, food, dress and everything else. Sixth, parking is just an empty pasture that is quite a walk from the barn. If it's raining, be prepared for lots of mud being tracked during your wedding. Seventh, lack of layout. Yes it is a barn, but there aren't any layouts to help you plan where to put things (cake, buffet, DJ/band, head table, guests). The owner seemed proud of the fact that they didn't have one, which seemed odd. Eighth, lack of signage on the main road. There is a sign, but it's not lit and is small. Make certain to give your guests a detailed map. Ninth, power cables are not buried outside. This increases the chance that someone will trip and get injured. The facility should be liable for this issue and is a simple fix that they seem unwilling to do. Tenth, there is a large echo in this facility. This is due to the lack of insulation (see first issue). Sound travels in here. Positives - lots of space. There is room to fit a large group and there picnic tables outside can add to the crowd. Lighting is nice and is dim-able. There are some dark spots of the barn, but some up-lighting would fix those easily. Facility could invest in some dim-able wall sconces to help add some light. A professional photographer shouldn't have an issue, but if it's a do-it-yourself wedding and your "buddy is taking photos with his phone", it will be an issue. Bridal room has air-conditioning, so you can cool off before you sweat out the evening. This facility has a ways to go to improve itself. The owners really should visit other barn style venues and take notes (Camp Lucy, Pecan Springs Ranch, Vista West Ranch to name a few). With some investment and upgrades, it could become a first-class venue that is a destination. As such, the owners have some work ahead of them. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Sparrow Creek Ranch. Just a little more than a week ago we had my daughter's wedding and reception at this location and it was like a western fairy tale. Kalli and Kevin, along with their staff, pulled out all the stops to make sure we had the event of a lifetime. They were so helpful and accommodating. The barn is like nothing else out there and they provide a lot of extras for decor, that you would have to rent at other locations, to offer additional personality. Communication was very timely and they offered counsel on many other wedding services such as catering, videographers and rentals. The cost was extremely fair, comparatively, and we received top notch value. Everyone I have spoken with after the wedding was in complete awe of the barn. We held the wedding ceremony outdoors and they were helpful in getting that part set up as well. This is my only daughter and we wanted her to have the most special day possible. We were so blessed to find this venue! The venue encompassed my southern roots with the elegance that is present in every girl's wedding dreams. I had total freedom to decorate it the way I wanted, all the way down to the tiniest of details. The DIY bride's dream venue! It was large enough to accommodate all of my guests, and still had room for a large dance floor! The owners and staff of the venue were so kind, and always went above and beyond for my (now)husband and I. They made our wedding weekend so special and we couldn't thank them enough!
