How can I view the 2025 concert schedule?

There is no music this year... after 14 years of working so hard to make this happen we decided as a family to take a break from this... thanks for the 1 star... another reason that confirms our decision.

If you're not directly on the Oceanfront, you're still only a short walk away, so it's a very convenient location. They have single bedrooms (with bunk beds in the hallway) or villas with multiple bedrooms, so it's good a good place for both weekends or week-long stays. I was told that they don't rent villas to people who are not staying for more than a week, which was disappointing. However, this past Memorial Day weekend we stayed in a villa so I'm not sure if that's accurate. It might have been because it rained all weekend and people cancelled. Lighthouse View is within walking distance of several restaurants in town and if you don't feel like eating out, it is fully equipped with a kitchen that has a full refrigerator and stove. If you aren't a fan of swimming in the ocean or just need a break from the beach, they have a pool and a hot tub on site. Additionally, you need a code to get in to the motel and pool, which is convenient because you won't need to carry a key with you everywhere. On my most recent visit, I noticed that they renovated their villas and they look way more modern and up-to-date. The TVs have been upgraded to smart TVs as well, so if it's raining and you need to spend the day inside you can watch Netflix, Disney+, etc.

We loved that Buxton had such a peaceful, laid-back vibe compared to the hustle and bustle of Kitty Hawk, and it was our first time staying here. There were so many charming shops and great places to eat nearby. The suite itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed having our own kitchen and living room so we could make breakfast and sip coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean. The pool and hot tub were wonderful too, and everything around the property was very well maintained. Lighthouse View was the perfect choice for a relaxing, romantic getaway. We're already planning to come back again!

The room is very pleasant a whole kitchen with 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 1 living room and a marvelous pool side view. You have a tv this year we watched the FIFA World Cup. You also get a free beach access you have to bring your own chair. Or you have to pay for the beach. The ocean had no jelly fish. And the waves were massive I got knocked down twice. That said, the property is showing its age. The units still have outdated Dish TV service, and the curtains are faded and dated. Most of the furniture is cloth and overdue for replacement. The area rugs are also a concern--they seem a little smelly and retain sand, which makes them feel less than clean. Maintenance and management have noticeably declined. It's frustratingly hard to get in touch with someone when you need assistance. In short, you're paying for the location and ocean access, but the interiors and upkeep need serious attention. With some investment in updates and better guest service, it could return to being a top-tier beach property.

There is also a sleep away sofa that my 7 year old slept on. We were happy to be able to get a place in the outer banks with a kitchen where you could stay for a couple of days. Another plus is that we were right across the street from the beach club which was the perfect venue for the July 4 fireworks. A great benefit was the use of the beach club pool. This was very nice and even had a bar which was open during the day. The only negative was the the pool closed at 5 PM. I really did not understand why. The villa was great. The only thing that made it less than 5 stars was it was hard to keep clean. They did not provide a vacuum. If you walked on the carpeted area with your bare feet, they would turn black. Additionally, the furniture is a little stained and dated. The free bike rental was nice as well. My wife and I rode down to one of the stores one day. The bottom line is this is a nice spot to stay a couple of days prior to transitioning to another place for a more long term stay. I would definitely return here again for a short term stay.

I was a little worried when we heard Hurricane Mathew would be rolling in the same weekend we would be there, but the wonderful staff assured us they would know well in advance if there was trouble and kept us up to date all weekend on the weather. One thing I loved was that they have a beautiful campus full of things to do that are all included in your package stay. The Pangea restaurant and pier are just a short 5 min walk away as well as their pool (which unfortunately was closed for the season thanks to the hurricane.) The spa is also great for rainy days or just relaxing and there is a full gym as well. We stayed in Villa Honeymoon and overall it was like having our own little get away at the beach. Room came with a king size bed and queen size pull out couch, full bath and spa tub, full kitchen and washer dryer. Down side was I think the spa tub wasn't functioning as we couldn't get the jets to work but it did a good job of cycling the water to keep warm. The room also came with a packet of events going on in the Villas that you could take part in. They had a wide variety of activities for all ages. There were also bikes available to use if you wanted to take a trip around the island but we didn't due to the overcast weather during our stay. You also get free admission to the Avon Pier which I recommend to check out. I believe they also have fishing gear to rent, but we just watched and talked with some of the locals since neither me or my husband had fished before. Overall I love how they take care of all the little details for you! It really made our stay wonderful. I wish the pool was open but I'm chalking that up to the hurricane/weather. Can't wait to return during the warmer months so we can experience the pool and beach!

I would have also liked to have rated this place higher but I can't in good faith do that. The resort is dated. The staff are all very nice but this is a resort standard. Nothing was exceptional or grand. It was all very overpriced for what you ended up with. My discounted rate should have been the normal rate. There is no way I would ever stay at this place at their listed normal rate. You'd have to be a fool. Honestly, You would be better off just renting a house for the price because the amenities are not worth it in this specific case. The food was mid but at arena prices. 20$ for a beer, 24$ for a burger, 4$ for an iced tea.. after the first day we just went into town for food. It ended up being much better economically and quality wise. The beach behind the resort is nothing remarkable. In fact it's sloped and awkwardly angled. The surrounding area itself is immaculate and lush with beauty and there are loads of things to do. It's definitely a family place and not an anything else kind of place so don't get any ideas. Kind of boring honestly, not really much going on. You really do have to make your own adventures. The complimentary bikes you can check out are all falling apart. The walls were so thin I could hear the conversations of the people in the room next to me. The power went out multiple times the day I was checking out which complicated things further including trying to get WiFi as well as the fact that they charged me for a latte that I never ordered and they had to remove it from my final bill. Good thing I checked. I am talking specifically about the resort and not the area itself. Parking was a free for all and there is no valet. If you leave your spot during the day good luck trying to get another one. If this place put some TLC into it they could turn it around very quickly.

We never had to use the free Trolly service because we were close to it all. We usually bring bikes when we go away, but when I saw how close we were going to be using Google maps, we left the bikes home. The lighthouse was about a 15 minute walk and that might have been the only time I wished I had my bike. Not to worry, bike rentals are close by! Check in was at 4pm. We were able to stock up on food. About 3 miles from the house there is a Food Lion with anything and everything you could think of. (I was not walking there hahaha) When we arrived, the cleaning people were still there. They were nice and let us come in to start putting our groceries away. I think they could have done alittle better cleaning. There was alot of black mold on the floor of the shower that had just been renovated in 2018. How hard could it be to keep something only a year old still looking like new?! So another trip to Food Lion to get some mold and mildew remover and viola, clean and looking new again. You're welcome! My husband noticed some mold on the spare pillows in the closet, and my mother noticed the same thing on the pillows downstairs. I'm not one to pack extra pillows, nor do I like to waste time calling the realty office to put in complains and wait for someone to come scrub the shower or replace pillows. I treated this house like it was my own, cleaned what needed to be cleaned and since we didn't need the pillows, I let it go and reported it upon discharge. To the next family, I hope you got new pillows or brought your own. Again, you're welcome. The community has 3 pools, one is heated, and they also have a baby pool, perfect for the little ones. Downside, it closes at 7pm. It's summer and I had 3 teenagers with me. Push it to 8 please. The oceanfront grill has limited seating for dinner and closes around 9pm. I also noticed there were some events we missed because they were not on our calendar. So when you visit make sure you read everything posted by the pool in the resort, don't just look at your calendar in the welcome package. This was our first time in OBX and we absolutely loved it! It was a long drive from NY to NC so I'm not sure if we will drive there again.
