During my celebratory trip to Puerto Rico, I'd gotten terrible sunburn on my forehead, and my skin started to resemble a cheap leather bag. It was cracking and peeling, and no amount of exfoliating or moisturizing was making my problem any better. I was willing to try just about anything, but I needed to see what my options were. I stopped by the MAC counter inside Macy's and encountered some of THE RUDEST, most stank-acting people I have ever had the misfortune of crossing paths with. I must've stood there for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged me (with a huff and an eyeroll, no less. Sorry I'm making you do your job, boo.). I told/showed the guy my problem and asked him what I could do. He put some foundation on my face that was no where near either of my complexions (burned or unburned!). It looked hideous and I asked what other options were available. He impatiently informed me that they also sell bronzer. I ask him if I could try it and he proceeds to cake my face in gold dust... then he just walked away. He never checked back with me to see how I liked it or if I needed anything else. Instead, I found him gossiping nearby with another sales person. It's a good thing he didn't ask me if I liked it because I was horrified when I looked in the mirror. I looked like the love child of King Midas. Worst of all, the shit WOULD NOT COME OFF. I don't know if that bronzer contained bits of Gorilla Glue or what, but I used 3 or 4 of the makeup remover wipes and wiped until my face started to get raw and it still looked like I had barely wiped any of it off. I don't care if they were giving away the makeup, there is no way in hell you'd ever catch me at this counter ever again.

I don't want to bash this photographer but the service could've been a lot better. My issue with this photographer is that she does not adhere to her own policy as per her webpage. Her webpage is not " fool proof" meaning all the need to know details can't be found on the website and the photographer is not assessable by phone and does not respond to emails within her provided 24hr time in my situation there were occasions when she didn't respond at all. She does not do any type of consultation prior to your shoot which takes a way from your shoot time on the day of. My shoot was on May 16th I paid the remaining balance selected my photos on May 18th. I should've gotten my 4 edited pictures back on June 6th. Today June 16th still nothing. Prior to my shoot I sent two emails asking about what to expect on the day of my shoot and a consultation; Without response. Resulting in time being taken out of my 1hr shoot for bathroom break, consultation, and changing. One of my outfits could've been worn to the shoot. On the day of my shoot I arrived timely with a support person and in my opinion the photographer came off as nice nasty at this point she had half the money for my shoot so I didn't acknowledge it. She asked me several questions that would've been addressed if she had responded to my email when I brought that to her attention she told me " I was busy" like I am not a paying customer who also work and is busy. My photos are very plain compared to others who brought the same package on her page. When I brought this to her attention my only option was to pay an additional fee for the edits I wanted which if she had addressed my emails prior to the shoot we would not have had an issue and I could've paid for exactly what I wanted up front. She did provide the raw photos which I was able to edit on my own to my liking. Based on that I would never go with this photographer again nor recommend her to anyone. The brown background photos are supposed to be "customized to bring my vision to life" ...it's nothing special about it. She charges you to use props and consider that as customized. We spent a significant amount of time on what outfit to choose first and ultimately we went with the brown look which had bronzer then the white outfit. Bronzer got on the white outfit and she ask on her site not to wear stained clothes. Why as professional you have me put on bronzer prior to wearing white? This was my first shoot how was I supposed to know not to do that? The blue background is just blue all the props I brought myself. I will provide screen shots of email conversation and photos. I hope this helps someone but book at your own risk. My photos were not bad, the studio is professional the service and communication needs a lot of work. As a paying customer I am unsatisfied.
