Life is too short. I had another heartbreak this year and my beloved nail tech left my salon of eight years. I was devastated and tried to use other people at the salon but it just wasn't the same. Nails were not done properly. I had to ask around and Bella kept being brought up. Even though I had a terrible experience before I tried it again. I have a class at Golds and with having another trip on the weekend I said, "why not" and "spinned the block". I'm glad I did. I didn't have an appointment but luckily I got paired with Starr and well it's a match! I love his work! Omg! He shaped my nails and cut them all the same length! He's perfection! So the moral of the story is... sometimes chapters close for good reason. I loved my old nail tech and he loved me but something's just end and that's okay. Point in case, I think this nail tech might be a little better. God, the Universe, call it what you want but sometimes a closed door is allowing you to open what you need. This year has been full of unexpected surprises, a great new nail tech is one I'll take as a win in my book. And so in the case of a lost beloved nail tech, as always, she lives happily ever after. I went to La Biotique at Prince George's mall on 02/23/19 between 3pm-4:30pm. First, there was a long line then my turn comes and the lady starts threading my brows not only does she take a little too long she is rather too harsh (I have threaded my eye brows a few times in the past and once at this location so I have an idea of the discomfort level). She threads them the first time and then goes over them a second time, at this point my brows are starting to get sensitive. She stops for a few seconds and I assume that she was done as I try to sit up from the chair she pushes me back to the reclining position this happened like three times. To makes matters worst my brows turned out looking awful. I politely asked to pluck some hairs that were hanging she refused giving me a bunch of excuses. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Except you want to get you brows ruined and experience poor customer service.
