I had super long hair and always get nervous about getting a cut so by the time I get around to doing it I usually need 8-12 inches off and still have long hair! Carlie and Madi both have provided hair extensions for me which look amazing! (Better than my real hair!) Carlie also provides a full color, highlights and women's cut without the crazy ring around my forehead from the hair dye. Honestly, I have to start with the fact that I had one of the best hair experiences ever at Tres Chic with Madison! I just moved to Broomfield from Southern California a month ago and was in need of a major hair transformation (split ends, color fade.) I am very particular about who I let cut and color my hair due to a previous bad experience so I hopped on Yelp and did a little research. That's when I found Tres Chic. They had great reviews and I loved their pictures. I also saw the $100 for $80 voucher and it seemed like a great deal for this hair salon so I bought it. I made my appointment online, 2 weeks out because that was the first available with Madison. When I showed up, she was extremely friendly and we clicked right away. I showed her pictures of what I wanted (purple and blue hair) without knowing how long the process would actually take. I didn't schedule enough time with her for that day to get my hair colored, so I just got a haircut and rescheduled for the following week. I have a lot of hair so it can be time consuming, even just for a trim, but the time flew by thanks to her bubbly personality and my hair came out GREAT and looked healthier than when I had walked in :) I went in for my second appointment yesterday and Madison got right to bleaching all my hair (I had never had it done before.) After she let that set for a while, she rinsed me off and applied the blue and purple dye. I have to admit, I was a little nervous because this was the first time I had ever had my hair brightly colored and I wasn't sure how it would look on me. After she rinsed out my hair and blow dried it, I was so surprised.... It looked AMAZING!!! My hair came out way better than the pictures I had showed her! I have received so many compliments on it already and it just looks so gorgeous...a work of art! I will DEFINITELY be going back to Madison at Tres Chic for my future hair needs. The price was very fair for the quality and amount of time she spent on me (1.5 hours for haircut- $36 and 5 hours for bleaching/coloring- $160.) She took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and I appreciated it so much! I would be willing to drive from further away to get my hair done by these girls! But when I was lost Carlie made sure to go outside and find me, so first impression was great! The salon is very cute and professional. I just wanted a trim since I am growing my hair out. My current salon had a month wait to get in to see my (very talented) hair stylist and being the procrastinator that I am, needed my hair done yesterday. So I yelped salons and found Tres Chic. It has been years since I have found "the place" to get my hair cut. Most barber shops are too stiff for me and most hair salons don't cater to men as much. I just moved out to Longmont a few months ago. I have tried a number of salons but they have been average at best. I found Tres Chic through a groupon deal. Let me say this disclaimer, I am often weary of groupons because I've found the businesses are on there because they aren't that great and can't keep customers. I saw online that this is a new salon, started by two sisters. So I decided to give 'em a go. The salon itself is intimate and decorated with a relaxing, refreshing vibe. The sisters themselves are warm and welcoming and the conversation was filled with laughter. And, most importantly, they know what they are doing! My hair turned out exactly how I asked for it. We talked about an overall vibe of color/highlight and we discussed different options. She heard what I wanted and did not disappoint! It's their first week and I am so pumped for them. Tres chic boutique was my best hair experience I have ever had. I do not get haircuts often and I have very thin and easily tangled hair. Carlie Joe didn't make me feel bad for having so many snarls and made me feel extremely comfortable. The conversation was extremely organic and fun and the wash and cut were superb. I have thick, semi-wavy hair and wanted to go short (like chin length bob) and get some highlights. Madison took a look at my inspiration photos, asked questions about the color, and we got started. She cut off about 10 inches of hair, checking in the whole time to see if I was doing ok. Yep, I couldn't wait! She colored my hair and then cut it into an adorable, flattering style. I'm not the type of girl who has an easy rapport with new people, but Madison is EXCELLENT! She and her sister are so easy to talk to, and the cut I got is awesome.
